I reserved to have a complete hitch install on my vehicle and informed them I scheduled a 4x8 trailer rental so I need the hitch ball size for that trailer. Towing 2200 miles. They installed the hitch and added a 1 7/8 ball. I found out when I picked up the trailer, the trailer required a 2" ball. I scheduled the trailer rental pickup close to our moving "from" location a month in advance. The day before pick up. I was told I had to travel 30+ minutes in the opposite direction (1 hour round trip) to pick up the trailer! Of course they didn't have any tools or a 2" ball since they were a plumbing office. I had to find a parts store and buy a wrench and ball for $45. Planning a month ahead, using the App, giving clear instructions means nothing to U-haul. They do whatever they want and you have to accept at the last minute. THEY OFFERED to take mileage off my trip...but that is ridiculous since there is no mileage on trailers. Complete clown show.

Great communication & Was always ready to help
Chaneice BReturning the vehicle was just as frustrating. I dropped it off around 6:30, and once again there was no one available to assist me or explain the return process. There were no clear signs directing customers where to go or what steps needed to be completed. When I called for help, I was told I needed to use the app to complete the return. That information would have been extremely helpful if someone had explained the process ahead of time.

Kelly AI had to clean all the snow off of the trailer. I had to get it unstuck from mud/frozen ground and hook up by myself. The workers of Vince's only came out to get a quick photo if trailer. Mind you it had been days since it last snowed. They knew i waa coming yet i had to do all of it by myself
