The air conditioning went out in the truck while in use. The truck was filthy when rented; outside and inside the cab. The system seemed to be struggling to pull up hills, like the transmission was going out. People at the site were amazing, they were super helpful.

Jeannette GGet a guard dog to keep people from Siphoning gas. The young girl who office was very helpful and she gave us excellent service better than it better than I expected.

MELVIN Flook at the equipment carefully before renting it. I found marijuana inside. I should have taken pictures, but I ended up throwing it away. Overall, everything else was great.
MAURICIO SCustomer service sucked - front desk person was rude as all get. I needed the truck a 2nd day - called to inform the front desk person, who put me on hold for over 15 minutes. When I came to return the truck after hours, there was nowhere to park it - i had to illegally park and block a fire lane because the lot was so mismanaged.
STEVEN NI had a great experience renting from U-Haul in Vista. Friendly staff, good customer service, and easy pick up and return. I rented a 26-foot truck and it was brand new and clean. The price was great too. I would definitely recommend that U-Haul.
DAVID ERosanne checked me in and was nice and connected me fast. When I pulled back in to return the trailer, Ron was there to unhook me and everything was smoothed. This place is great, fast and they are always helpful
SHAWKAT HI expected to pay around $60-$70 for my u-haul and it ended up being $113. I don’t see the point in advertising $19.95 when it ends up costing so much more than that. Would not use again.
KAILYN HCharged me for 9 gallons of gas when I only drove 23.2 miles. No after hours returns and that wasn’t stated on the site like other locations. The truck inside was filthy and the visor was broken.

MARCELLA SThis place was great to rent a 20' Uhaul truck to move my daughter. From the moment I walked in to this Uhaul business, 2 ladies were busy helping other people at the counter but took the time to acknowledge me by smiling at me and said "they would be right with me". When they went out to finish helping other clients, they said they would be right back. This made me feel valued as a customer and acknowledged. When the one lady came back within 2 minutes, she helped me with checking in with my Uhaul reservation, made the process very simple and went to go outside to pull up the huge Uhaul truck, plus loaded up the moving blankets and dolly as well. I thought this was over the top nice and helpful as the Uhaul places in Arizona doesn't go above and beyond this type of great service, but this place does!! I probably thanked her several times and told her that I don't get this kind of great service in Arizona as I am a Home Stager and rent Uhaul trucks often. I would highly recommend this place to rent your Uhaul trucks, and other moving equipment. Plus they have moving boxes, tape, and other supplies that you can purchase if you need it. Thank you again ladies for helping my moving a wonderful experience!

DOUGLAS PMy initial online quote was close to 900dlls plus an online discount for drop off at a specific location. Initial quote and discount was not on the system and my ending quote was about 1950dlls. Later, I asked the arizona staff about the pricing and the staff saw my initial online quote of about 900dlls. The AZ staff did not know why the price difference. Can someone explain why the difference?

CHRISTOPHER BEven though the truck wasn't as clean as I would have liked it to be, the people were friendly and informative. There was a lot going on (the main computer program was down, there were a couple of customers who wanted their vehicle's smogged, etc.), and it could have been stressful, but they carried out their responsibility with a smile.

RICHARD FThe online check in needs to be better improved. Ladies in there were so sweet even though I had such a rough morning. They made it so quick and easy after verifying a few more things.
Asia AI don’t know where to begin in condensing this nightmare, so I will keep it brief. The staff advised us to take our truck and come back the next day for our car transport. I received a phone call on my way home from the staff stating they will only be open until 12pm, not the 4pm stated hours. Then I was informed they will only be open until 11am. I called the location the next day at 10:15am and no one answered. I arrived at 10:45am and no one was on location and everything was locked up. I called and no one answered. I then called Uhaul direct who redirected me 3 times to Oceanside where I began my journey. The people and company in Oceanside where I originally attempted to rent from before being redirected to Vista, were great. The Vista location left us stranded with no options, no outlets, and nowhere to go. The management of that location should be required to endure what we endured to continue business, or shut it down. I am a businessman myself and would love to discuss my situation with someone who wants to maintain or improve the Uhaul business before it goes away due to customer experiences like mine.
