Difficulty with parking after hours due to absolutely full and disorganized lot. Should be organized better with either someone there directing the trucks or have return parking spots clearly marked on the lot concrete for return.

Everything was great and all of the people at the pick up were really friendly. Thank you!

Staff was ver professional and quick.

I was charged an additional day after I dropped the trailer. This was because they the center took a day to check it in.....this is bad business. I will call the main number to get my money refunded.

I went to this location because they opened at 8am. If they opened earlier, 7am, that would have helped tremendously. I have no complaints!

The self check out was terrible. When you chose it online, it makes it sound like an express checkin versus you actually doing the employees job yourself. It was incredibly unsafe to be walking around the lot to check your truck while other drivers were driving out. That system needs to be rethought out because it was terrible. Thank goodness the employees were so helpful!!

Stay open a bit later

One girl not very friendly..ignored me when i came in and kept talking to some locals. Otherwise the experience was fine.

I was literally charged $82 when my receipt is showing it should've been half the cost. I always use UHauls for my moves and have never had a problem till now. Not to mention the gas meter wasn't even at half a tank when I left the premises and I didn't even drive 10 miles so the meter didn't move any lower than where it was at when i picked it up and I was still charged $14 extra for gas? i didn't even use a gallon.

Almost didn't get my reserved 17-footer but the staff were able to work it out. You could tell it was busy and the staff seemed stressed.

It was very dirty and the trucks were kept in a gravel yard. My car was dusty just from being there 10 minutes.

Amazing customer service. Couldn't be happier!

The passenger side door required a great deal of pull to fully close. My wife was not physically able to close the door. The latch should be checked before an accident occurs with a future renter.

The team at the Vista Ca location off N. Santa Fe were great, busy but still delivered a great service. This was my first time having to use U-Haul, or any kind of hauling business, and my first time having to use a trailer to tow my car. I thought it was going to be hard to figure out everything, but the team helped load my car, and took the time to explain how my car gets loaded and unloaded, and any questions I had about both the truck and auto trailer. I even got a auto trailer pamphlet to answer any questions I might have later on down the road. No pun intended. The team put my mind at ease on what I thought was going to be a scary and stressful experience. Also when I was paying at the counter a problem came up, which was my fault, and I thought I was going to have to wait and figure out what to do, thinking my move would be delayed, but one of the other persons at the counter over heard and made a suggestion that helped the situation. She was the only woman there that morning and I think her name was Liz, so thank you to Liz and all the team who helped me. You made my move easier. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.

Very very professional

Only concern was not doing a walk around, there was previous damage to vehicle and I would have liked to know that it was noted before I took the truck. Having said that, in all other aspects this was one of the best rental experiences I've had, good job!

Have the employees ready to sign out trucks at opening business hours. I waited 15 minutes past my pick up time while last night's Vehicles were checked in and the administrative employees arrived to turn on the computers and begin work. Once I got the truck, everything was great and the service was excellent!

Professional and quick!

ZERO STARS NOT ONE. I'm 40 years old and have been moving using UHaul since I moved to college back in 1995. In all those years I never once had a problem with equipment and especially customer service. Unfortunately this particular location was by far the worst customer service I had ever encountered ANYWHERE. I rented a pick up truck to pick up a washer and dryer locally. The young man at the counter stated to make sure the gas needle in the truck did not go below the highlighted mark on the paperwork. I explained to him that I would only be going 10 miles and he said it doesn't matter just as long as the needle didn't go below the mark and if it did to put gas in to raise it to the mark. I've done this a million times I get it. I came back and I drove exactly 11 miles not quite 12 but they put me down for 12 miles total. Also, the gas needle didn't move at all in fact it raised just a hair due to my careful driving. As noted on your Uhaul website the pick up truck gets 19 miles to the gallon. As I returned the truck the person at the counter her name is Liz stated to me that the gas needle was below where it should have been according to the paperwork. I explained to her that it's exactly where it was when I picked it up. I took a photo of where the gas needle was and had her view it again to show Liz exactly that the needle did not move. She proceeded to become very hostile and rude stating that I don't know how to read a gas gauge. I asked her what gas mileage does the truck get per gallon she looked me in the face and said 7-9 mpg -WHAT!?!? No no no - I explained to her that these trucks get almost 20 miles to the gallon if you drive conservative. She was even more rude to tell me that she was charging me for a gallon of gas @ $3.29 per gallon WHAT?!?! WHY?!?! I had not even used a gallon of gas to begin with. I returned the truck with the gas needle exactly where it started and where it should be. It appears to me that this Liz person hates working there especially on a Sunday and decides that she is going to be extremely rude to everyone. I had asked her for her full name to report to the owner of the location and she spoke very fast Spanish - racially profiling me because I'm white that she would assume I didn't know what she was saying. Do not come here - Liz will lie, cheat, steal, bad mouth, nickle and dime you. This is just disgusting business practice and especially in this day and age there is no room for racism. To the owners of this location I will file a charge back with my bank. You certainly do not deserve ANYONE'S hard earned money.

The equipment was clean, but the radio did not work. The people in the office were kind of rude. We asked to use the restroom and we're told that they did not have one. When we were surprised that they wouldn't have one for office staff were told that it was actually not for the public. Also, when I was about to leave with the truck, the person at the desk ran out to tell me that I could not leave my car in their parking lot. When I commented that they don't have very good customer service, she offered to tear up my contract.

Must be welcoming to incoming clients. Be it if they are dropping off or picking up.

I reserved a truck at a location close to both the home I was moving from and the home I am moving in to to save on mileage. The location didn't have the truck I wanted at the time I needed it so I reserved it at the time the uhaul site said it would be available. When I arrived I was told they didn't have the truck and that uhaul had my truck at a location 7 miles away. I drove to pick it up and asked if I was going to be compensated for the extra miles I'd be putting on the truck and was informed "No". And that uhaul does this all the time and they don't care. When u got to the pick up location I turned both side mirrors in to protect them but the driver side mirror fell off. When I got a summary of my bill it showed that I had over 20 miles put on it when it would have only been 5 if the truck was where it was supposed to be. All I can say is the representative was correct. Uhaul doesn't care. I already had a horrible experience with the location on coast hwy. But now, I'll never use uhaul again. Rent from Budget.
