My fiancé is in the hospital having emergency surgery and I needed to move her belongings out of her apartment and into my house. So, I took an Uber to the West 18th location to pick up a truck that I had reserved online. Once there I used the Uhaul App to check in and was told there was no truck available for me. I called customer service, and was informed the closest truck was at the W 34th location. So, I had to take another Uber to that location. Once there I was told the same thing, that there was no truck available for me. After several minutes I was informed that they had a "One Way" truck available, but it would cost me more money!!!! So, not only did I spend $40 unnecessarily in Uber rides, but I also had to spend more money on a truck. Horrible customer service and horrible way to do business. Once I read the instructions and chatted with support I did not have a problem with the mobile pickup! The check out process took about 30 minutes. The truck drove like a top!! Radio worked good. The air and heat worked. I am very pleased! Thank YOU U-Haul!

Didn't have my reservation ready. Had to change vehicles. Attendant was not aware of UHAUL's policy's and guarantees. Threw the keys at me on the counter. Rude. Then walked around and said those are your keys. I did self return to avoid the attitude on returning the truck.

No fault of this location, but my original equipment was made “unavailable” at the time of pickup at the 34th street location, so I had to change to this one. Unfortunately, I couldn’t pick it up until 7 hours after the time I reserved, which meant I couldn’t complete all I intended. It was very expensive to use it to only get one run in and not 2 before the store I needed to visit closed.

First interaction with Scott on Friday was ok, but when i call today he wasn't very helpful and is not backing up his statements made on Friday and when I asked about it he seemed irritated, said quote how many times do I have to tell you and hung up on me, honestly all my friends are professionals and of course I wouldn't like them to experience a third world country service

I had to pay an extra 60$ because I only had money on my CashApp card. I was told that I would get it back after the vehicle was returned which it was the same day I rented it and still have not received my money. Where's my money? I was told it would be a quick process.

Location doesn’t open until 10am, but online check in was pretty easy. I had reserved a dolly with my moving van which wasn’t made available and I wasn’t notified it wouldn’t be available. I was credited immediately though and didn’t have to go through any ordeal to be refunded. All in all a very good experience!

Great service at this location! The man that works here is knowledgeable, professional and helpful . I’ve rented from this U-Haul several times and will continue to come to this location, even if I’m heading the other direction. Trucks are always in good condition and ready to go.

I have a printed receipt for $59.12 which the gentleman told me was my bill for the one day rental. When I checked my bank account, they charged me $67.34 which is $8.22 more than the receipt. Why did this happen?

I was given a truck with no engine coolant and had to wait along the side of the road for 4 1/2 hours on U-Haul service. I think things like this should be Checked prior to renting a truck to someone.

On line app sucks. Initial res indicated equip avail., then froze. Booked larger truck then had 2(!) confirmed red's when 1st one NEVER accept'd? WTH?? Then, p/U time had to be changed cause "manager" could not " be there that early"... Ok, NO! Upon arrival, no easy check in. Waited 19 mins while prev customer had res transferred to another location cause EQUIP WAS NO SHOW! Finally, no hand truck, no furniture dollie avail., as reserved. At this point, Im like " this is the frickin Biden Admin all over again!" But wait, ITS WORSE CAUSE THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A BUSINESSE! So tell me Uhaul, at what point do you shoot the horse? Cause this one is lame, blind and Broken Down! Only saving grace was lady struggling to make YOUR CO. look good. I was embarrassed for HER! Arlene I think!

I ordered a furniture dolly and it didn’t have one in it. I did not receive any notification that didn’t have one. I had to stop at another location to rent one and was charged more. It cost me time/money. Poor customer service.

Online I had paid for and reserved a furniture dolly, but upon arriving, I was informed that there was no furniture dolly at that location. This complicated my move, as I had bulky furniture items that would have been easier to transport with the dolly. It would have been appreciated if I had received a notification or email during my reservation or prior letting me know that a furniture dolly was not available at this location.
