Ronald SExtremely disappointed, I was lied to and once my business was secured I faced an entirely altered level of service. Thanks to this disingenuous behavior, I was forced to deal with an entirely different location causing miserable unexpected challenges for one of the most important moves of my life. I expressed my concern when picking up the vehicle that I absolutely needed the auto trailer to be secured for me. He told me I had absolutely nothing to worry about and that "the trailer had my name on it and could not be rented out from under me". The following morning I called to confirm picking up the trailer and he told me I was out of luck and could instead pick it up the following day. I explained that he had just promised me the day before after we completed paperwork that I had secured the trailer and could pick it up whenever I needed. He then said I can't rent you what I don't have! I reminded him that just the day before when we completed the transaction, he gave me his word that the trailer would not be moved, that it was mine. He then became very confrontational and said "I'm not going to have equipment sitting on my lot when it could be making money" I was dumbfounded that a place of business would treat a customer like that. I called the corporate dispatch number and they arranged an alternate dealer in a different city where I could immediately go pick up the trailer for my out of town relocation. Then to add insult to injury, this guy called me back later and sounded like a completely different personality, he said "Hey buddy, I have a trailer for you, you can come and pick it up right away". I was furious but help my emotions back and simply let him know that I had contact corporate and secured an alternate location for immediate pickup. He then turned back to the alter ego, no longer happy and "hey buddy" just ended the call. Additionally - it was never communicated to me that the remote shop where I would be dropping off the truck and auto trailer would be closed on the day (Monday) of my arrival. What a nightmare it was trying to navigate the entire drop off without any assistance or direction whatsoever. This was the worst service I've ever had and honestly hope I am never in need of hauling service again. If I do find myself in need of services in the future, I will do everything in my power to find a better service and avoid using or referring U-Haul at all cost.

DINO WLocation was closed when I returned the equipment. There wasn’t very much room to park or manipulate the 15’ truck. The location is on a busy street too. I had to manually walk the tow dolly over to the drop off spot.

Patrick WWalt was very knowledgable, friendly, and easy to work with. The trailer was very clean and it great condition, and the tires were in good shape and up to proper pressure. Walt gave me some good tips and the entire check-in/check-out process was surprisingly easy. I look forward to renting from Walt's Automotive again soon.

RINO BThe truck itself was great - 5 star. My experience with mobile pickup was poor - 2 star. My poor pickup experience was related to two things: 1) I arrived around 45 minutes after my reservation had started. I didn't realize this would disallow me from picking up the vehicle, which is on me, as it was probably communicated somewhere, but this was not clear. The more difficult aspect of this was the clarity of WHY. The app could do a much better job 1) communicating WHY you cannot pickup the vehicle after 45 minutes and 2) an option to change the start time without having to call a representative, so long as the vehicle did not having a competing reservation. Instead, the app simply displayed the "dashboard" without any clear (to me) understanding of what went wrong and what to do about it. The second challenge was that the mobile app was glitchy both with pickup process and drop-off process. It kept cycling back to the beginning for no reason. Luckily, the browser based option worked fine.

VICTOR HAfter I picked up the trailer somebody called me from Sparks telling me there was too many trailers at the friendly drop off and that I had to bring it all the way back to Sparks I will never rent a trailer to take it somewhere I'm not going. Since this lady in sparks said because there was to many trailers there in fernley, well there was one trailer. If I rent something and you change it after I rented it THATS NOT RIGHT.......

JOHN SWaited for enclosed trailer to become available. Chose date. Arrived and no trailer. Lady is always rude forcing me to call other locations and use the app instead of just doing her job. Nobody bothered to call me to tell me my trailer was not there and this location should have paid attention to the comings/going’s it’s their responsibility but they blamed it on the company. EVERY LOCATION SHOULD HAVE MULTIPLE ENCLOSED TRAILERS AT ALL TIMES YOU ARE IN THE BUSINESS.
