Revoke Norms automotive as a U Haul representative. I was questioned to the point of feeling uncomfortable about what I was going to use the vehicle for. The representative placed a fraudulent charge on my credit card also.

I have zero complaints about Walt and his location. Very nice guy and helpful. I do have a major complaint with U-Haul online reservations that allowed me to select a rental location around the corner from me, but then called me the night before and informed me that I had to drive almost two hours away to pick up my rental! The reservations/scheduling customer service rep was completely unhelpful. I will never rent from U-Haul again if I can avoid it.

vThe only thing that bothers me is that I was forced to pay for multiple day use of a trailer that I only used for 5 hours, simply because the drop off location was different than the pickup locations. To me that sounds like a sleezy way to make up uhuals costs for a service they advertise as "free". (the ability to drop off at a different location. apparently Uhaul ACTUALLY charges for this privilege) false advertising. so basically Uhaul comes off, to me, as Liars.

Location was fine but 24/7 process did not work. I was not aware I was going to be asked to send a photo of myself, a photo of my drivers license and phone number of someone to verify my id. All of which I could have sent prior or at least be prepared to have. The person said the reference did not answer but I was standing with the person and there was no call. Luckily someone was at the auto shop and was able to help me. The app was slow, took me multiple tries to create and account.

I always have excellent service from Walt and his wife at this location. Their office was closed the day I wanted to pick up my rental, so I decided to use your Truck Share 24/7 option. What a horrible system! It required me to provide names and numbers of contacts for you to call to vouch for me. It would have been good to know this ahead of time so that I could alert my contacts that you would call. Most people these days do not answer calls from unknown numbers! When your checker got no answers, my check-out was cut off. I got a message that my transaction could not be continued . When I tried to get back online your system was down for maintenance. I called your number and waited a long time on hold to get a real person, was then cut off when they tried to transfer me to the right department. My call was sent to the back of the call line. When it was answered I was told I was connected to the wrong department. I was transferred again, and again was sent to the back of the call line. When I finally spoke to Deidre after being on hold and getting the run around for 45 minutes, she was less than sympathetic to my difficulties and raised her voice to me to " not speak over her". I let her speak and when it was my turn to talk, she kept speaking over me! I know customer service is a tough job, but Deidre needs a refresher! There's nothing wrong with saying "sorry for your difficulties, let me see how I can help" or something along those lines! I rescheduled my pick up for the next day when Walt would be back in the office and he could check me out in person! I will not trust your 24/7 option ever again!

I called to make sure they were open, said I would be there around noon, showed up at 12:05pm and they were closed for lunch. I was so pissed I just left the truck in the driveway and keys in dropbox and left. This was a nightmare experience, just like my last rental experience with uhaul. At least last time you refunded me money, this time I just got extra miles, which I did not need. I would rather get a refund for the time wasted not to mention my sanity.

Best of the best. Walt gets you in & out fast same with his wife who is wonderful. However the other location should be closed and turned into a taqueria. Southpoint sucks and is ran with incompetent people. If you have 80 hours to waist I highly recommend Southpoint. Bring a tent and 20 gallons of water cause you will be there for a very long time.
