Everything went seemingly ok(atleast that is what i thought) until i tried recording the mileage and gas guage amounts..it would not let me do it.i go back into the office to let them know. They told me that they have been having problems with it and just take a picture for my records which i did. The mileage that was given on the app was lower than the actual mileage when i got in the truck also the gas tank was about 5/8 full. 15 foot truck. I leave to go do what I have to do. About 5 hours ,11.8 miles ,and still about 9/16 of a tank of gas later I return with the truck. I give the keys and they say that i will receive receipt in an email. Ok so I go on my way expecting a bill of about 50-75$ . No.instead i got a bill for 115$. On the rervation I declined the insurance14.99$.only going less than 15 miles.but there it was on the bill. Spoke to customer service and they confirmed that i declined it on the reservation. Was never asjed in office if I wanted to decline it. Secondly the mileage was too high. I took pictures upon return too. Third is the 47$ charge for gas.now i expected about 7.50$/ 8.00 $ charge for gas. The representative stated on receipt that I started with 15/16 of a tank. Another lie on his part. After i look over the bill I give customer service a call(best part of the experience.) First ,chris was very nice and understanding to my issue. And then I was transferred to Jasmine. She too was understanding and sympathetic to my issue . Noted all the issues i had and sent her pictures. She told me now the regional manager will get back to me within 72 hours. It has been a week. I know Thanksgiving is in there. But I was working on Friday and Saturday........ still waiting on regional manager.

The teller was nice but One of the guys at the location was very rude and un respectful since the beginning and when My brother in law dropped the truck, He parked the truck where I found it and he was very rude telling my brother in law stupid. Not acceptable.

The representative at the drop off location was rude, obnoxious and abusive. When we were dropping off the truck his first statutory us was, get that this the hell out of here, I have no room for the big piece of shit. You can't leave it here. Then he refused to acknowledge us at all. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.

Pick up/drop off location is very small. They should add line markers on the ground to make clear that it's ok to park two vans right on top of each other, or say so at pick-up. I didn't do so, and the attendant at drop of was visibly aggravated that I didn't leave the van where he wanted me to. Make it clearer.

I ordered dollies hand trucks and blankets and the truck had none of the equipment in it I had to go to a central location and pick up the items myself and when I got to that location they wanted to charge me an extra fee for not returning them to the second location which was out of the way of my move also this added extra mileage to my rental

Owner very helpful, pleasant and cheerful. Having furniature pads and a back door lock were nice features included. I don't know about the $28.00 safe trip charge. I didn't expect that. The $1.89 per mile was twice as much as other companies. Also, fuel replacement was very high per gallon.

The person at the coutner was unprofessional and never told me to fill up the gas tank higher than the level I started with. I turned the key to see there was less than a quarter of a tank upon pickup. I drove 30 miles and returned the car way before the time I mentioned I would need it. At no point did he mention the gas tank, and I left the store. I feel he scammed me out of a massive charge, and I could not be more upset with this experience.

The equipment I ordered was not in the truck which made the move longer, more difficult and more expensive and I was told that the guy ‘just pumps gas'

This truck has some issues. The cab was dirty. It could use a cleaning. The inside of the back of the truck had the following issues. There were no moving pads inside the pouch, there was a dolly not secured, and there was glass on the floor inside. These are items that UHaul charges people to use - if they aren't there or unsecured, it will be assumed the renter used them, and that is not the case.

Worst place and experience ever!!! They're racist assholes and really don't care about uhaul customers. Its just a lil extra income for them. They make uhaul look bad honestly. Never ever have i had a worst experience. Usually good or great.

They charged ME a cleaning fee of $45.00 which I inquired about and the guy said I returned the truck back in filthy condition. Mind you I only had the vehicle less than 2 hours on a bright sunny day and he said there was mud all over the truck. This service station apparently pulls the wool over all their customers eyes. And 2 weeks prior I rented the same 17' truck from them and they charged me for filling up the vehicle when I had just came from gas station around the corner.

This was the worst experience ever they charged me for a tow dolly after I canceled it 3 times I got 3 different prices for the same size truck and they told me it included taxes and fees and it came to be way more than I was told everyone I would never recommend this company to anyone I would ask to speak with a supervisor after being on hold 2 different times for 46 minutes and still no supervisor this company is trash

The Nassau county rep was at the station when I had picked up the van and he walked me to the van and that is when we noticed there was a crack in the windshield. He told me he would enter it into the computer, When I return the van I was charged for the windshield. Tried to reach the rep by phone several time but he never answered to phone. Spoke with the station owner and he told me he will speak to the rep about this. I still don't know if the charge was reversed,

I had to call the cops as I was accosted by the return attendant after requesting to see the gas gauge when I was incorrectly charged for gas after filling up the uhaul AT THE Return location immediately before handing over the keys.after being forced out the store and locked out because I was insisting on seeing the gas gauge he proceed to yell st me in front of other customers, when I informed him I was calling my credit card company to stop charges he finally opened the truck and whe. I pointed out that the gauge was full and As I attempted to take a picture of the gas gauge to fill a complaint with uhaul the attendant attempted to snatch my phone and then proceed to make a maneuver like he was going to lounge towards me. I had to call the cops as his temperament kept escalating but once the cops arrived he started to play the victim.

I booked a 17' truck over the phone with someone at the Wantagh Service Station location a week in advance. When I arrived to pick the truck up that morning, I was told it was rented out. When I asked why the truck would be rented out when I had a confirmation number for it, the guy at the desk could not tell me why but would only say "the truck isnt here." Then he called the manager, who listened carefully to the situation before replying, "the truck isnt here." I guess this was just in case I was clinging on to some shred of hope that the first guy had somehow overlooked a 17' truck sitting out in the middle of the ~35' service station. I understand things happen, but there should at least be a contingency plan if a truck gets double booked...maybe a call could be placed to a nearby location to attempt to locate a replacement truck. Instead, two guys just stared at me and repeated "the truck isnt here, man" like we were all in a Cheech and Chong routine.

Again I dropped off & filled up the truck & I was told that I was good to go. No inspection was made. I was insistent that I had a appliance hand truck on board and was told ok not to worry. On Monday I received an email from U-Haul stating that I did not return the equipment and would be charged. Today I received another email from u-haul with a receipt for. O charge on the hand truck. Evidently it was found. Totally un organized. Again no compensation.
