The thing to turn to tighten the trailer on was bent and did not screw very well

The truck was great but if I ever rent again I will do it in person. I used the remote method because the location near me is not open on weekends (worth noting that I should have planned earlier which would have increased my options). In the end it was successful but the tech process was cumbersome and a pain overall (note that I'm pretty adept with tech). While I understand the need for certainty of identity to keep the equipment from being stolen, it seems to me that with modern tech it should be smoother. Your system should easily recognize the device I'm using; someone would have to coincidentally steal my phone and then try to steal the truck; not at all likely. Also, don't make me set up an account, how many people are frequently renting trucks? I think my aggravation stems from my expectations of an easy process, I'm assuming that something on the site said how easy it would be? In any case, be ready to spend a little time with the process when you pick up and drop off the truck, it will save you some aggravation.

Cargo van was not there when I arrived. After obtaining a bigger truck and was checking it over, the van arrived and I was allowed to take it instead of the larger truck. The employee did a good job of switching the rental agreement back to the van. This worked out well.

How about you guys don't change the pickup location 15 mins after it was supposed to be picked up. Also fix your app took over 30 minutes to return a truck since your stupid app wouldn't allow a photo of the dash to be uploaded. Thanks a lot for having terrible customer service :) last time using your guys

When i dropped of the trailer the location was closed. Tried to use the app. the app would not allow me to take a picture which is required. Called support. sat on hold for 25 minutes. as soon as a rep answered the phone he hung up on me. Called back. waited another 25 minutes. Rep answered told me she was putting me on a brief hold. instead she hung up on me again.... Spent over an hour with the app and trying to get support. Absolutely terrible experience!!! Finally just left the trailer there and called monday when they were open to explain

I made the mistake of not double-checking the miles on the truck before and after using uhaul. We drove it lesss than 20 miles but I was charged for 82 miles. Impossible.

The facility was amazing very helpful and friendly. My issue is with Uhaul over all. As I made a reservation a month in advance then had my reservation canceled the day before I was to pick it up was completely unacceptable. Then I had to call 4 separate times to get a new reservation that took 3 1/2 hours of my time to find out I had to drive 3 hours round trip and pay several tolls to get the trailer to go on a family vacation. I am finding it hard to see myself rent from uhaul again as this is the second time I've had to bend over backwards to get a trailer I had made a reservation for.

To whom it may concern, I am not at all happy with my last rental from UHaul. I have used UHaul on many occasions through Western Landscape in Plainfield, IL without any incident, and that was my preferred pick up location with last week's online rental. I was only notified the day before by a UHaul representative that my rental (originally going to be a 4'x8' cargo trailer for $14.95/day rental) was not available from Western Landscape and that the closest location was route 59 and 111th street in Naperville (9 miles away instead of my original location that was less than 3 miles from my home). Once I informed the representative of the time frame I needed the rental, the reservation location changed AGAIN, this time to Car Clinic in Warrenville- a 27 mile drive from my home. Needless to say this was very inconvenient and added a considerable amount of time to our moving plans for the weekend. For the inconvenience, the representative said she would upgrade the rental to the 5'x8' cargo trailer and honor the $14.95/day rental rate of the 4'x8' cargo trailer, since the original selection of equipment was not available. Per the contract invoice I received, that offer was not honored. Additionally, when I returned the trailer at 7pm on 08/22/2020 and completed the online return process, I did not accept the charges to be applied to the MC on file to hold the reservation, since the daily rate was not the rate that was promised after specking with the representative by phone and switching my rental location not once, but twice.

U Haul asked customers to do online check-in already then asked for more info and data upload at the pickup location. The overall process was tedious, time consuming, and used my data plan.
