App was glitchy ( not related to cell service). Also cannot find a copy of my final receipt in the app or in my emails/text messages? Overall, process was great to be able to pick up and drop off a truck when the business itself was closed.

Being served outdoors only is terrible, especially when there is a long line up. Having only one person available covering the storage facility and U-Haul is also difficult to understand as both types of transactions are time consuming. The person providing service was nice enough but overall this was a disappointing experience.

I had a great experience. The only complaint I have is not having the protective covers on hand. Had to drive to Collingwood to pick them up. The price was very reasonable.

The only issue was that the extras I requested (pads, dolly and cart) were not available. Please don't lead people to believe items are available which are not. I could have obtained these items prior to pickup if I had known. Otherwise, things were fine -- the employee who checked me in was extremely helpful and professional!

I honestly can't think of any way to improve this. The van was ready and waiting when I arrived, the person doing check in was friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

The locations is great. Very clean, well maintained. Slight issue with the lock, it was frozen when I tried to open it. The self check-in/check-out was awful. If you expect renters to do this work you need to make it much easier and simpler. The amount of pictures I have to take and send on my data is absurd.

The lockboxes need to be replaced with new ones, and asking customers to verify body damage on the roof of a van that they can't access is kind of odd.

The utility items that I paid for (dollys and pads) were not in the van. But even worse is the mobile app. I don’t know what overseas outsourcing agency y’all used to have it built, but it is literally one of the worst user experiences I’ve ever encountered. Maybe hire actual professionals and build something that doesn’t belong in the top 3 worst apps ever to make it to production.

The Wasaga Beach Self Storage itself is great - lots of room, easy to get to, and very friendly/helpful staff, but this review is for uHaul in general. The availability of trucks is really lacking. Basically, when you make a reservation for a one-way trip, you're just telling them what you would like in an ideal situation - not what you're actually able to get. I reserved a 20 foot truck at this location almost 2 months prior, and then a few days before pickup, they called to tell me there were no trucks of that size in an 80km radius. I called back several times trying to figure something out (I had to empty a 10 x 20 storage unit), one woman on the phone told me there was actually a 20 foot truck available in Collingwood for the day of my reservation. About an hour after the call ended, still no change to my reservation for the new pickup location (Collingwood), the next representative on the line told me there were no trucks after all. It was a very stressful situation and had I known reservations are just "wish lists", I may have looked into another rental company where I could get a guarantee (moving is stressful enough as it is).

Truck was fine. Host was nice. We expected moving blankets, dolly’s and ramp. None were provided, despite on-line booking accepting the order. We were simply told … too bad, we don’t have any of those things. Try another site or Canadian Tire. Coordination with online booking site is brutal. We were not planning to have to do without blankets and dolly’s. This made our job much harder and uncomfortable. Should be Ugetnothing.

I was suppose to pick up the VAn at 8am I did not receive any instructions on where the lock box was or the code to get the key. So I had to come back at 10AM and then the girl told me that I had to bring the van back at NOON as someone else had rented it> so I did not get all the work done that I wanted to in only 2 hours and paid for a full day. Very disappointing.

- sandy gravel parking lot was covered by 1 inch of rainwater puddles resulting in getting van floor dirty, don't feel this was my fault if I get a service charge for cleaning! - Your mobile device check in and check out was very inconvenient and confusing, surely this can be done better.
