Karen and the entire staff are truly excellent professionals very accommodating and will help you through any process issues you may have and getting your storage set up. The storage yard is large easy to . the codes always work and I had a more than adequate storage space.

Terrible service. We ended up canceling our rental site because no one ever called us back on Friday 5-2-25 from Waters Mega Storage during business hours. They better have not charged our card.

Lower prices. All those added fees and crap made a price check on your app give incorrect information and what we expect to be a $400-$500 rental was instead over $700. Unacceptable in this economy. I will not be using uhaul again unless prices go down.

The truck had major isssues . You could not use the heat without an over 85 dB whining noise screeching out the windows. ( I had a db meter in the truck . Well over 100db at times ) The truck leaked gas filling up every time . And you put the wrong windshield wiper fluid inside of it so it was frozen when I picked it up. Not cool when you’re driving over 2000 miles. This was the worst U-Haul experience I’ve ever experienced in my 20 years of renting from your company . I called to switch the trucks but there was no available and you guys sent the truck to the wrong location that was 45 minutes away from where we agreed upon pick up. This whole thing was a mess . My ears are still ringing from this truck and I was wearing double earplugs .

The truck was very loud and you could not hear much in the cab. This was an old truck and it had many dents and scratches on it. I was stress out after driving it for two days.

This is a great place to store and for service on your RV. Karen is the best, the happiest person you will ever meet.

The truck made ot a couple miles and the abs, traction control and engine light came on. Upon closer inspection the rear axle was pushed back about 3 1/2 inches and caused the truck to go down the road sideways. I called uhaul they sent a mechanic out. The the truck had to be towed. By now i had wasted 4-5 hours of my time. Then I had to drive an hour to get a new one. The new one had the rear door left open and was not clean.

I signed up for after hours pick up. While I was doing the super convenient online pick up the representative for this location was driving by and stopped to make sure everything was running smoothly. During my rental time I requested to add an additional driver to help with my move and it was super easy and quick to get approval. The drop off went as smoothly as the pick up. I am very happy with this experience. Thanks!

This was about the sixth time that we have rented a trailer for one thing or another. I am always greeted with a smile and professionalism. Hailey and her team go above and beyond to make sure you are hooked up and safely on your way. Very happy to have them nearby.

Well first off I did not realize how hard it is to find a location that actually rents out tow dollies I ended up going 45 minutes further north than what I wanted to just to be able to find one and then I get it and it was the most horrible ride all the way back three and a half hours when the trailer was damaged when I went to pick it up the lady put a sticker on it still allowed me to take it off the lot when I'm pretty sure the last person that rented it put an extremely oversized truck on it and damaged and bent it causing the one tire to bounce really bad even with a load on it by the time I realize what was wrong everything was already closed so I could not drop it off and switch it out anywhere I had almost a 4 hour run which ended up taking me over 6 hours. I cannot believe the tire did not pop on that trailer shame on them

I made a mistake I wanted to rent from Grayling not Gaylord. Upon my arrival in Grayling the person working would just kept tell me he didn’t have me in the system so no rental. Instead of looking in the system and telling me that he seen reservation in Gaylord. He made me feel like I was bothering him and he reall didn’t want to do his job maybe he needs training in customer service. But rest assured I’ll never use U-Haul again. One bad apple ruins the batch, I hope in time I’ll feel differently.

I reserved this vehicle waiving the insurance and when the contact was finalzed the insurance was put on?? I was told if the vehicle was returned with a gas level anywhere from 2/3 to 3/4 that I would not be charged an added fuel cost but yet I was charged for 2 gallons. I was also told if the vehicle was returned any time on Sunday that I would not be charged an extra day but yet I was charged an extra day. Horrible communication.

It was a fiasco getting the dispatch changed to this location. The “girl” at the front desk wasn’t at work “yet” (11:00) and the guy knew absolutely nothing.

Sweep and wash the equipment. There was mud all around the exterior; gravel and dirt all over the interior of the 6x12 enclosed trailer I rented for moving furniture.

When I arrived at this location all the information I had previously filled out online had to be inexplicably resubmitted by the employee working at the front desk which was only a slight annoyance. I left my items with them under the impression they would be safe, but somewhere between Waters Mega Storage in Michigan and Panorama City, California, my U-Box was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of my items were stolen. No one notified me of the situation until the box reached it's destination and the company has done next to nothing to show intent to remedy this situation. I don't know what drivers this location uses and I can not in good faith recommend them or U-Haul to anyone going forward.

Any and all of the rental trucks in northern Michigan should and must have winter rated tires, it is not an option! It is not a question of if personal injury and or deaths will occur it's when.

The setup was well thought out. The trailer I rented was out front of the office and ready for hookup following a short check-in. The owner/operator was prepared for my arrival, completed check-in, and hooked up the trailer in less than 15 minutes. The trailer was in excellent and clean condition. There was a specific drop-off area when I returned.

When a customer asks for a printed paper copy of their receipt, go out and check the vehicle over quickly and come back in and print it out for them while they are there and later go back and wipe down the vehicle later. Don’t make the customer stand there for almost 20-30 minutes while you dilly dally around cleaning the vehicle and sit inside the vehicle in the drivers seat on your phone not wiping anything down for almost 5-10 minutes. Then act put out because she had to come back in and print you a receipt!!!

The staff at Waters, most notably Haley, were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous. Haley did a particularly good job helping me over the phone, finding answers to my questions, and explaining what to expect with shipping our U-Boxes across the country. U-Haul should take pride in her as an employee!

Excellent. Everyone there went beyond anything we expected. We need to store our 5th wheel for the month of April do to an earlier return north then planned. It was a relief to be able to comfortably sort and distribute what was no longer needed from my two rented units in order to downsize to one unit. They were understanding of my need to keep a budget and Haley went beyond her job description in order to assure me a timely truck to avoid starting another billing cycle and also accommodate my scheduled moving crew. I am usually there to pick up on Saturday and drop off Monday or Tuesday night, it works out OK, understandable someone can't be there at those hours. I will definitely be back next year, the cost is about even with what I save in gas towing and no wear and tear on trailer. I have recommended to others.
