I don't blame the location. I needed an open trailer and they were nice enough to tell me they expected one back on a Saturday evening. I picked it up just after 4pm and used it Sunday. I was picking up a tractor and taking it for repairs. The repair shop closed at 3 on Sunday and I didn't make it. Went first thing Monday and and had the trailer back at 9:30am. They charged me usage and insurance for 2 days! Saturday evening to Sunday morning. That's BS.connie H.

No customer service. You hook up the trailer yourself without any offer of help. They add on insurance even when you decline it when the reservation was made. When you call to explain you opted out of insurance their response is "I can not change the reservation that YOU made & they insist you added it on. Called U'Haul & rep was able to confirm I did NOT add it on. U-haul did refund the insurance fee. This happened back in April with this location & they convinced mecI did something wrong. Now I know I Overpaid in April & they got away with it. NEVER AGAIN!!!Joseph M.

Your reservation system is terrible. A â€œreservationâ€ doesn't mean bill have a truck waiting for me according to your representatives. That is like a Seinfeld episode. When I went to check in the rental the person had left early due to an illness. Left the keys ets. Received email with the total charges. Was overcharged for the miles, charged for insurance when I had declined insurance and charged a $25.00 cleaning fee and left the truck clean and a lot cleaner than it was when I picked it up.James U.

My negative experience comes directly from the app itself. I was moving on a Sunday, the store itself was closed. I had to use the 24/7 app service. Which required information that seemed extremely unnecessary like two people for them to call to verify me? I get taking a picture of my license. But the process took so long. The front of the truck also had garbage in it from the beginning of November so they tells me whoever owns these trucks doesn't check to make sure it's clean. Drop off was just as annoying asking for pictures of every thing and putting in the mileage I was leaving it at took ten minutes because the app kept saying I was putting the wrong mileage in and I was NOT. Then it finally decided to work randomly then minutes later. The app needs serious updating and needs to be much smoother to use. It makes me never want to work with U-Haul again.Marisa R.

Know where your equipment is. i was looking for a 10' box truck they told me they only had a 15' at this location. I get there they had 5 10' box trucks there. I asked the rep at this location if those trucks were reserved he said no. imaging thatMichael B.

Went to pick up truck at scheduled time 9 p.m. had to log into uhaul app and had an issue which caused me to be there at location for an hour and 45 minutes past my pick up time. App was not working correctly in order for me to retrieve my keys to the rental. Had to call 24/7 uhaul number spoke with 4 different people which i was on hold for 10 to 15mins each time I was transferred and last person I spoke with finally was able to be of assistance in order for me to retrieve my rental truck. I arrived at 9 p.m. wasn't able to enter truck until 10:55 p.m. it was 13 degrees out side and windy.Jerry R.

No pretrial was performed. The man that came to the counter, Charlie, stated "I'm busy, I don't have time for this!" The moving blankets were not in the truck, which annoyed him more. When dropping the truck off, there wasn't anyone there to close us out because the location didn't work picking the truck up and dropping it off. First time using the mobile app to get a truck. You must be at the dealer location exactly, I parked accross the street and was told I was at the wrong location. Gps seems very accurate. The key box code didn't seem to work but after a couple of minutes of trying to open the lock, it opened. I suggest you follow the instructions to the "T". If its not working, try again, that seemed to work for me. Now that I have been through the process, it will be easier the next time. All in all, a great experience.Frank R.

I reserve the U-Haul for 24 hours at a different location that was much closer to where I was moving from I received an email from U-Haul saying that my U-Haul was ready 30 miles away and I only had it for six hours on that day I called the location and said that was ridiculous they said it is what it is and they can't change it so I had to pay the additional mileage And my time to pick up and return and I had to totally change the plans of moving day it was a very frustrating experience and I don't know how in the world something like this could happen when I reserved it for 24 hours and then give it to me for six and then they change the location where it has to get picked up and I encourage national charges for mileage is very unlikely that I will ever use U-Haul againBrian S.

Hand truck and dolly were not available. There was no way to update the sales order to remove the dolly prior to renting and no way to provide feedback that they were not included as requested on pickup. Passenger door had a minor dent and lock mechanism was loose. We had to sweep out the back of the truck. There was no way to contact UHaul about issues and concerns. Pickup location was changed the day prior and no opportunity to discuss an alternate.Douglas F.
