Completely unprepared for us. Had to borrow phone to even view booking. Gas station has no gas and no working pumps. Tire pressure low to the point where warning light on dash. Vehicle covered in snow.

I ordered the truck 3 weeks before the intended date over the phone. I also ordered 12 moving blankets. No moving blankets available when I picked up the truck Had to go to another depot to get moving blankets which took an extra hour. Apon returning the truck, the clerk was new and he struggled to finalize the paper work rental. I won't rent here again.

I got a pickup truck rental but because somebody never bothered to check to see if the keys were in the box. I was charged an extra 10.00 not impressed because of someone’s laziness.!!!

Vehicle was fine, guy was nice enough, but it was a bit distasteful having marijuana paraphernalia in a gas station and U-Haul location, both of which involve driving.

To please check vehicles before renting them out. I needed to pump up the tires because they were low on air and not safe to drive. Also there was no windshield wiper solution for me to clean the front window . I had to purchase and install the product. When I said something when I went to pay he told me to call and complaint.

Clean trucks after use an empty Pepsi can 2 juice bottles, napkins and a phone power cord left in vehicle. Vehicle overhead door needs 2 people to open needs lubrication.

The same garbage was in the cab and box as a week ago. The tires are not suitable for Winnipeg winters. The odometer and gas readings were grossly inaccurate. I had to brush 2" of snow and ice off the hood, windshield and roof. The information about the mis-readings had not been relayed to the next employee. Unless out of necessity, I'd recommend and go to another location, like the one on Pembina HIghway.

Van was very dirty from outside and It’s a safety issue because the windshield wasn’t clean, neither the side glasses and mirrors. Car was out of windshield washer fluid and was showing low tire pressure sign in front and rear tires. They need to do some proper maintenance. We as customers do not have free money for companies like you and get provided poor service in return.

My truck was scheduled for 7:30am to be picked up on 2080 Ness Avenue. I arrived at this address on 8am . The staff on this store didn't even know how to make my rent, my truck wasn't there and I spend 1 hour to be directed to another store to get the truck which I have reserved. I arrived on Waverley esso around 9:30am, they had the truck that I needed, I was told that everything was right, and because I had 2 people waiting for me since 8:30am I rushed to my apartment to starting my moving.....as I got there and open the back door of the truck I notice the truck was full of garbage , an old bug infested mattress , food and several other things that I don't want to talk about...... Uhaul ruined my moving !!! I had to come back to the store and change the car again, once I finally started my moving was over 11am.... I spent $200 extra bucks just because the bad management and disorganized U haul system. Never come back!!!

We waited 45 minutes to pick up the Vehicle. Then The cost for using it for 6 hours was extremely high. almost $300 then gas was $80. It is time for U-haul to rent a better standard of Trucks that are More fuel efficient in line with The environmental position of other renting options in this space. I could have gone and rented a diesel truck and saved the Gas money. the U-haul model is OK but the Equipment needs updating, high gas usage - no hands free - many upgrades required.

The agent was very busy with customers and I had to wait for about twenty minutes, not a problem, he was working on his own. However, the rental van was dirty inside and I had to clean it out. Also, the previous renter forgot a personal item (remote control for garage opener in the cab). UHaul agent provided this renter my cell number to contact me for return request. I am concerned that UHaul provided my personal details to an unauthorized person. Not impressed.

I sent the following letter to the service manager and have received no reply :Your reply suggests that your may not have an understanding of the extent of the difficulties we encountered on Saturday: In addition to the delay at the outlet due to vehicle not starting, there was an overall delay of approximately 3 hours due to the rental not starting after being loaded. Three attempts were made to jump start the truck, followed by a phone call to UHaul (in which we were informed that it would be a wait of two hours for any service). We then called CAA. While waiting for that service, a kindly neighbour came by with some boosting equipment and got the truck running. Surely your Company would not want to be known as one which dismisses such serious equipment issues. (I recall a television report of a few years ago in which UHaul was investigated and found to have serious issues wth equipment maintenance and safety). Keep in mind that a number of people were significantly inconvenienced, including neighbours who had to detour around your truck while it was stalled in a back lane. I believe that an appropriate adjustment to our contract is needed. I await your reply.

We needed a truck for a couple of hours to get a few jobs done. The service was excellent. Truck was spotless, and in great running order. We have used this location before for a truck rental, and if need be, will not hesitate to do so again.

I thought the representative was really nice that I dealt with at the store. The reason for my rating is that I reserved the truck along with 2 regular dollies and 2 furniture dollies. When I got there they didn’t have all the equipment I required. They only had one of each. The reason for this is because they didn’t have enough. My questions are why wasn’t I informed of this when I made the reservation? Why am I finding out about this when I’m picking up the truck on the day I’m moving? The rep did suggest I take the dolly for fridges and he charged me $7 instead of $10 but I don’t believe I should’ve been charged for this as I was still inconvenienced, (I do appreciate the rep trying to problem solve). Moving is stressful and the last thing you want to worry about is not having the proper tools to do the job. This did create extra stress and made the move longer than expected. If I decided to use U-Haul again I would probably go to a bigger U-Haul next time to ensure I got everything I required.

Agent at this location didn't have a great command of the English language making communication difficult. Also not to pleased with agent taking photo of my licence which could be sold to others at a later date in time.

It was very busy when I came to return the truck and only one person on shift to help. I was waiting 20 minutes because there were people picking up/dropping off ahead of me. The young man was very pleasant and apologized for the wait.

I asked to have the employee discount applied at pick-up, they advised it had to be done at drop-off. At drop-off at Regent I was advised it had to be done at pick-up. In future I think the local dealers should have the correct information.

your ENVIRONMENTAL FEE is akin to theft. Why do you have all the hidden charges? Hidden charges are deceptive and unethical. When you told me the price for the rental your website does not mention environmental fees. As well your SAFE TRIP FEE is a disgusting rip off. If you need to charge more for your service, do so, but do NOT tell me a low price and then have all the add ons. As well, 89 Cents per mile for extra mileage is a ripoff. It should be 40 cents or less.

We confirmed a pick up truck and when we went to pick it up we’re told it was not available so we’re forced to drive out to another location. A courtesy call to advise the truck was not available would of been greatly appreciated. Poor customer service.

I was excited to do the express check in. However, the attendant claimed I had not done the express check in or that he couldn't find it. We had to re-do the check in, and it took nearly 30 minutes to get the trailer. That was too long. Dropping off the trailer was an excellent experience. The attendant was very helpful and knowledgeable. The trailer itself was excellent, I hope you continue to add more 6x12s to your fleet.
