My initial reservation pick-up location was within a 10-15 minute drive from my house. On the day before my scheduled pick-up I received a call saying my scheduled location die Not have the reserved truck and Wes told one was available in Hallsville.the location was arkeast 30 minutes out of Hallsville, which meant an hour round trip. I feel I was misled. I reserved well in advance of my scheduled pick-up date. Also new Carlisle. Ad a u-haul dealer, but Inqas told I had to take it back to take it to south bend to return it, adding another 30 plus minute drive. This all added to my cost of operation for excess gas usage. On top Of that drop off location was not manned. I’m 70, and like dealing with actual people and know what my final cost will be when I return.

Get your truck serviced and keep it maintained. An alignment is seriously needed. The steering wheel is about 30 degrees to the right when going straight. Luckily we are experienced drivers who knew how to deal with the turning radius and speed being compromised. I fear a less experienced driver may have an accident. With the price of the rental, simple automobile maintenance is expected. Do better. The road is not a place to take safety lightly.
