This was the closest location for drop-off to my location - there hours were wrong so I couldn't drop off like with someone that was there. There was no reminder at either pick up or drop off that I needed to use the app - this caused me to drive an hour out of my way and have to return to use the app. This was a bit much considering there posted hours were open and the lack of app knowledge.TRISTAN C.

Be open to return the truck when done. I had to call u- haul to check it in because my number or email would not work. So. They charged me 20.00. This fine. But don't charge me for a nother day. That's not right.Susan M.

The clerk was rude. No where on web when we placed order we're we informed that we had to return in 72 hours. Just thought if had it back on third day period that's cool. Returned in 75 hours so charged extra day. Clerk treated me like an idiot cause I didn't know that. Not sure I will do business with you againBrian W.

The trailer I had was old and faded paint. On our trip we encountered rain which leaked into the trailer and our belongings got wet. In short our clothes we brought back from vacation were wet. Plus the first dealer I dealt with in norwalk ohio is nothing short of an ass on two feetLYLE S.

7-19-17 The customer service folks at both pick up and drop off locations were excellent to work with. Highly recommended! However, the trailer was not as good as I have rented previously. Even though the Uhaul inspection indicated it passed inspection just three weeks prior. It was in serious need of maintenance as follows; - continually squeaking - Intermittent shuttering while driving. Even on flat roadways? - Strand crank was extremely tight to activate. Requiring way too much force. My comments are intended to be constructive, so as to improve future customer experiences. I plan on renting from Uhaul going forward but would hope to have a better maintained trailer.PAUL J.
That was one of the worst riding uhuals i had, beyond horrible gas mileage at 7.5 mpg. Service great though. No problems with business. They got stuck with a piece of crap truck.Chris T.

Place was dirty. You couldn't sit down because a dog had the chair. Guy's computer was old, slow and kept giving him problems and the guy smelled of stale booze! I would never go back here and would tell anyone I know not to go here as well.mike W.

The wheel strap was broken off on the passenger side and we had to fashion an extension to hold the front wheel in place. I mentioned it when I turned it in so it would be fixed for the next customer.lou P.

I had rented a vehicle 2 weeks earlier from Detrick Motors on route 250 only to be told that there wasn't a vehicle to use the day we were to rent it. Had to go 10 miles out of my way to pick up the vehicle. Once there, it took over an hour to get the vehicle. Owner could not print our contract. I didn't want the insurance but the $28 charge was on the contract. Couldn't get it off so to speed things up I agreed to take the insurance. Still couldn't print the contract. Owner had me sign a blank piece of paper so we could be on our way. From the time we started with the first location to when we finished up with the 2nd location was nearly an hour. This caused us to be delayed 1 1/2 because of the extra distance to pick up the vehicle. I'm sure we were charged for the extra miles as well but I wouldn't know since I never received the contract. I was told it was my fault for changing the drop off point with the 800 number. Wasn't that great customer service!STEPHEN M.

The trailer was a tough pull. My mileage dropped in half just pulling the empty trailer. Did not change adding the lawn mower to the load. I would have the wheels and/or bearings checked.JOHN L.

The gentlemen who assisted us was very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the truck only had a quarter tank of gas so we had to first find a gas station in an unfamiliar area before we could begin our move.MICHAEL B.

Upon drop off, the guy informed me of the charges for the non returned pads, after I told him that I didn't have them with me, he said he would just put down that I brought then all back and he would just take $10 a piece so I wouldn't have I pay for the taxes on them, I'm pretty sure he was just going to poker the money. Overall this was not a very good experience for me and will probably be trying other moving options in the future.BRANDON S.

Fix the AC (it was broken), fix the holes in the roof if it would have rained my stuff would have gotten ruined, service the truck, put new tires on the truck, it'd be nice if there was a full tank of gas not a 1\4 tank when I picked up the truck.ROBERT W.

Gary was very helpful. This was my first time renting from U-haul and i will rent from them again if the need comes up. The paper work was very easy.
