The truck was dirty within the interior. I tried to mark it as needing cleaning when I returned it - not because I dirtied it, I moved about 15 minutes from my rental to my new house and didn't do anything but drive between the locations so I didn't make a mess of it but uhaul was gonna charge me 25 bucks to clean it. The approval process to pick it up also took a shockingly long time. I got there at 8 which was my reservation time, but after going through the process I didn't leave with the truck until 8:50. Instead of prolonging my reservation time, they counted this whole process into my reservation time so instead of getting to use the uhaul for 8 hours I basically got to use it for 7. 30 minutes of this was waiting in a queue to be "approved". I feel like a lot of this process could have been done when I initially rented the uhaul.
Tracee MThe computer was slow and i needed to have the invoice printed out. Especially when trying to figure out the extra 3.96 charge that you mysteriously charged me extra for!

Brian BNot an issue with the location - the issue is with U-Haul. Once again (this has happened before) there were issues with my order and missing equipment. This caused additional details and problems on moving day, which just can’t happen. Two horrible experiences in a row = I will never ever use U-Haul again.
Charles KThe store owner was not very helpful. She didn't have furniture pads and I only found that out when I got there. I had to do everything myself as if it was a mobile check-in even though she was there. She couldn't be arsed to get off her ass and come outside the building. I would go to a different location just so that I can get better customer service
Sarat TI had two people helping me because one lady was being crossed trained. So I felt like I was getting double customer service. Only issue was the return process because I was not able to take pictures of the truck with my phone. The agent was understanding and did not make a big deal about it. This was a welcome end to a day of working hard moving all my stuff. If I ever have to move again I will return to this location.

TRUNG NI personally would go directly to a U-Haul. It was not their fault when I arrived the truck I was due to rent had not been returned. It was the waiting on hold for 20+ minutes to get it fixed that was painful. The person I reached was wonderful and upgraded my truck at no cost. Although the website mentions a reservation guarantee that I forgot to bring up on the phone. Will be contacting them today to see if they hold to the guarantee. The truck appeared clean until I got in to find wrappers on the floor (which I cleaned up) and cigarette ash along the bottom of the driver window (which I also cleaned up). It appears someone tried to clean the windshield but it was just a pure mess of streaks and cloudiness. Returning the rental was so difficult on the app. The pictures wouldn’t load and after 20 minutes of trying, starting over, again and again I gave up. There were still steps to complete so I asked a family member for their phone and went to the website which then showed no rentals, past, present or in the future. I panicked got back on my app where it showed it was returned 20 minutes prior! Between the time on the phone at the start and the return I spent more time than with the actual rental. Never had such a poor experience with U-Haul in the past which is disappointing. That’s why I think/hope going to a direct center in the future will be a smoother experience.
Jessica HSadly, there was a computer issue that delayed my being able to pick up the 10 foot truck. This delayed my day notably. Otherwise all went well and I am glad to have used this service.

Dillon LThese comments are for UHaul online pickup. Live verify has to be done at location. Should be able to add additional driver and authorized people at least 12 hours before. Also should be able to watch estimation of fuel video earlier than at the return of rental. Other than that the online version is great!

Kenneth RI rent regularly from uhaul and this was the worst location and experience I’ve ever had. No counter person, or location, keys locked in a box I could not get access to. Finally got into truck and it had a 16th of a tank and a damaged front end, bumper was hanging off. Took 20 min to get customer service on phone, they couldn’t help so transferee me to another department that took 45 min on hold.. tried to find another truck in that area but every number just went back to 40 min hold with customer service. There more but I’m tired of writing. Absolutely avoid this location at all costs!! I will never rent from that location again or any within a few miles of se imlay
Adam DI specifically requested in-person (counter) rental with a larger truck. I was halfway put into Truckshare with a smaller truck. It took me 30 minutes standing in the rain to get through uhaul.com customer service and trucks have for someone to correct the issue and set me up to get the lockbox code. We were late to meet the movers and didn't have the truck size (with ramp) that was needed. The truck was clean, but ran really rough. It felt like it was going to stall (or break down). It was a miserable experience. I have rented with u-haul several times and never had any issues but this particular time was terrible.
Keri CI just didn't like having to do too many steps after arriving at the location. Reduce them. Otherwise I liked it.

Michelle RDon’t mark full on fuel when it’s under 7:8! I went 10 miles and put 6 gallons of fuel in to return without hassle.
