The woman who helped us was exremely slow. Maybe she is new, but to pick up truck took 15 minutes, and to drop off it took the same, 15 minutes. If she is the one who would help us in the future, we absolutely would not choose this company.Azarela C.
*** IMPORTANT *** I signed out a cargo van online starting at 10:00 am for a 24 hour usage. The office attendant said it was alright to pick up the rental an hour later which I did at just after 11:15 am. The next day I returned the rental at 10:22 am and was told that the UHaul Computer System was charging me for a 2-day rental. *** WHAT THE FREAK IS THIS? *** I was also told that the UHaul Computer System also gives the attendant the option of reporting the vehicle stolen. Happily the office attendant modified the reservation so I was only charged one day. You might want to place in bold letters on the office wall this hidden policy to save yourselves future legal worries. You really need to read: "Customer Service for Dummies" first edition.Toussaint A.

Made the reservation online and the check in at the counter was fast and efficient, on my way in ten minutes. Greeted me at the door on return, handed over the keys and received an email with the receipt when I got home.Bob M.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a fairly nice young lady. The dolly was not placed in the truck, I had to do it myself. She offered no help. The truck ran horribly! No power. It was dirty! I called to request another hour and was greeted by your so called Manager who was so unprofessional. Upon returning the truck, i was greeted by a young man who seemed uninterested in being there. What a shame. I will never rent from that location again. On top of it, I was charged $25! for gas. I returned it with the same gas and had to argue with the Manager. He was no help. What a joke. I would like a full refund for such an HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Giuliano F.

This was for the truck on Sunday Aug 1st. The attendant was a young man with long hair, I failed to take his name. He was also nice and helpful. This day their internet was down. Definitely there is something wrong with their system.Antonio M.

I set everything up online, checked in on the app. 12:30 rental. I got there, and no key in the lockbox. Told to go into the office. No one in the office and a sign that says "will return at 1:30." Meanwhile, time ticking. Then, the person comes back, hands me the key, and...no blankets and no furniture dollies (which were ordered online.) Told, "we don't have them here." So why can reserve them online...this entire shit show took 90 minutes. That's how my experience was.John S.

I was not aware of the new after hours drop off process. I would suggest explaining to customer there are steps to take before you leave the vehicle. I was under the impression that you drop off the key and you're all set. Later when I read my email it said to share location, take photos, or there's a $20 charge for employee to check it in the next day.Julia O.

Fix the app. It doesn't work. We couldn't use it to check in and it said there was a server error when we tried to return the truck, after entering all of the information. It is crap. Stop marketing it or fix it.Anna C.
My only complaint is every time I rent a Uhaul (Any location) the vehicle comes absolutely filthy dirty, and empty of gas. This time was no exception, the windows & mirrors were so filthy I could not see, & the gas light was on, because it was so low on fuel. I had to immediatly get gas & clean windows & mirrors before going anywhere. The inside was dirty as well. All that said, the service was great!Jason K.

Truck I rented had fuel gauge at empty. In all the years I have rented vehicles this is the first time I was given a vehicle with the gauge on empty. I immediately informed the rental clerk of the situation. When returning the vehicle I was given a credit for the fuel I put in (had a copy of the receipt). I reserved my uhual online and was set up to do a self service rental. I even received a confirmation email saying my reservation had been received. I planned my move according to my reservation. When I went to pick up my rental I fouND out the truck had not been set up for me to take it. After a few frustrating phone call's I was able to pick up my truck. I understand situation's arise buthe the uhual employee I spoke to, Marlon, was extremely rude and unsympathetic to my already stressful move.Melissa M.

The woman working the office was very pleasant, however, the van she first gave me was filled with dirt and her response was, "Oh sorry, I haven't had time to clean it since it was brought in yesterday!" She gave me a different slightly less dirty van. When I brought the van back she was at lunch and no one was there to check me in. She had not given me all of the paper work that I apparently should have received so that I could use the drop box. I left the van and went to another stop while waiting for her to return.Arlene H.

The actual self-service option was not helpful at all and not customer friendly. Arrived at the location at exactly 8 am and my online portal said there was an error in my reservation. I called Kam at the 24 Hour number twice with no answer and no call back. Luckily Jose came to work early and was able to fix the problem for me and got me out of the lot by 8:30 am. When I returned the U-Haul, the online check-in service was again very difficult to use and not customer friendly. Once again Jose was able to straighten out the errors on my online portal. I would give Jose an excellent rating, however since the self-service was not helpful, I rated my entire experience as above average. If it weren't for Jose, I probably would not use this service again nor recommend to friends/family.Samantha S.

The reservation we made was cancelled because we didn't come at 9am which was our time. I have two problems with this. 1) When we called prior to making the reservation, we were told to make it earlier if we weren't sure. Nothing was said about cancelling it if we were a couple of hours past the estimated time. 2) It was just cancelled without any warning or notification. You could have emailed, called, or texted that we have 30 minutes until losing our reservation...you did none of that. Why? Well, you had the information, you have the technology, you have the staff. I guess that means you just didn't care if you pulled our reservation and we would show up thinking we had a vehicle but did not. The ONLY thing that saved the day was the attendant at the facility. He made stellar efforts to help us out. Essentially, he provided the customer service you chose not to provide. You owe him a gratitude for stepping up and getting the job done.rodney F.
