The website needs improvement. It caused me to rent a bigger van than I wanted the $19.99 one. The drop off was a horrible experience took two phone calls and the next day to be able to return, the site kept saying unable due to low memory. Was over charged put extra gas in for to be charged $74. Not happyHaylee G.
The checkin process was a lot and I had already dropped the keys in when I saw they wanted pictures of the cab and back in addition to the mileage and gas gauge. Plus it was dark so it was hard to see anything if I had been able to take pictures. I had already closed up the back and locked the truck after I brought it back about 15 mins early. By the time I dropped the keys in the box it was after 8 so it was a lengthy process. It has changed a lot since last time I rented a U-Haul!lorna W.

Dropped off a day early (sunday). Uhaul checkin would not work on my phone. I dropped off the truck with more fuel than required (1/2 instead of 1/4 tank) and no credit for overage. I was also charged a cleaning fee without an explanation. I would like someone from uhaul to contact me to discuss, I'm very upset with this.Chad G.

We made a reservation for a cargo van and it was due for pick up that same day Tuesday at 3pm. We arrived on time and there was not a cargo van available. We did get a mini mover truck for the "same price" as the van. Two days later we returned the rental as agreed upon. Two days following that the money that was held on my card was still not returned so I called to sort it out. I was informed that the vehicle was still not checked in and wouldn't be until Monday and then the money could still be held for another 3-5 days. This was due to the Holiday and that location was apparently closed. I feel that should have been mentioned when we rented the U haul. Finally Monday roles around and I call first thing in the morning, I could not get through to anyone but when I finally did around 11am it was still not checked in. I asked them to please do that promptly and addressed my frustrations, they did check it in right away but called me back and said after the total amount being held on my card was applied I still owed over $120. Which was very incorrect it took hours for them to straighten that out but eventually they released the money owed back to my account. I also asked more than once if there were any hidden fees or anything else other than the daily rental fee that I would be responsible for. The answer was no both times. It does state in the paperwork that you pay per mile from the moment you pull it off the drive until you pull back in to return but it was never verbal stated it brought to our attention. .59 cents per mile to drive that thing and that is at the cargo van price. Over all very displeased with this service.Amanda W.
Apparently the person running this office also runs another location and called to see if we could get the truck early. We both work so we could not. She said we needed to be there as close to noon as possible which was not convenient because we both work until noon. We thought we could pick up the truck anytime that day. Guess not. Also, the truck was on E when we picked it up. We had to get gas right away to ensure we could even make it to our house.kevin B.

There were 3 places to drop off that were within a quarter of a mile. We had to drop off in a different town! That makes no sence. The online drop off was not working, we had to have a representative help us.Stephen B.

First, the four prong extension connector was not connected. The wires were cut . There was a connector on the arm but was poorly taped. Had to put the lights on, but the running lights did not work ( turn signal and brakes did). After I returned home saw that my drivers side running light was out ( it was on when I picked up the trailer). I will have to check it out. I have a bulb on the lift gate and the body of the SUV and both were out. Just hoping the wires are ok. I usually rent from my local U-Haul with no problems, always a bit reluctant when it is an off-site rental.richard K.

The location closes at 4pm. I got a call from them a few hours before my 4pm pick up time that they actually stop taking customers at 3:50 and leave right at 4. So they told me to use the after hours pick up method. That would have been fine except they didn't transfer my order to that method, so I had to call Uhaul and they had to cancel my reservation and redo it. Then I find they didn't include the dolly I paid for. I guess they were too busy worrying about getting out on time.Shannon D.

The checkin experience was pretty bad. The uhaul did not look like it had been swept, which is frustrating because I would be charged if I didn't sweep it out. The lady who helped me check in was rude and repeatedly told me I could not have paid online (I did the checkout before going to the store) even when I showed her that the money had already cleared in my bank and was not pending. After she learned she was wrong, she did not apologize. She also did not seem to understand the systems and kept telling me incorrect information (she told me I was scheduled to drop off Saturday instead of Sunday). The one nice thing I can say is that she added the extra day on (which pushed my drop off to Monday) so I wouldn't be charged if I dropped it off Sunday. Overall, I believe either the online reservation system does not work properly at this location or the person I worked with needs additional training to understand it. Either way, I work in retail management and I would never let my employees speak to a customer the way she did with me.Lauren S.

I was VERY disappointed in the cleanliness of the vehicle. There was a receipt from Kentucky in the drivers compartment, and the windshield was so dirty from dead bug build up. I have rented from this location a few times and never had an issue before. I would be very upset if I were charged a clean up charge and the clean up was not done.KEVIN B.
