The vehicle was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to start. I was trying to gas it up before returning it and stopped at a pump not in service. It took 20 minutes to restart the vehicle. I didn't want to be charged an extra day so returned without adding gas. The people at the location are very nice, but please don't rent this one without servicing it first.

When we arrived to pick up our truck at 7:30 am, our truck was not pulled around to the front and there was no key in the lockbox. We had to call customer service and go to another location that the representative instructed us to go to that had a truck prepared. This delayed our move-in by 1.5 hours and was totally unacceptable. Will not be going back to this location.

Overall it was a good experience. Very helpful attendant. Ruda was knowledgeable and efficient. I thought the truck had a tire that needed more air but maybe it was because of the snow. I can only complain about the freezing weather when I was taking so many pictures to return the vehicle…

When I picked up the vehicle it only had 1/8 of a tank of gas, and also the interior and back area were not very clean. Typically when I rent a vehicle I make sure to sweep out the back before returning and also take any trash out of the cab. Me and my son have rented from here quite a few times for convenience sake, but it does not appear that the owners of this franchise are cleaning or checking the vehicles upon there return. My son also rented a van this week, which was one he rented previously, and when he picked it up it still has the warning lights on from last time he rented saying the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors needed service.

It is located in a really sketchy Mini-Mart (and old 7-Eleven) with a lot sketchy people coming in and out to buy lottery tickets and beer...I was not comfortable parking the truck because some random dude hanging out in the parking lot corner next to the space where I was supposed to park smoking and doing whatever....However, the owner was very nice, the truck was nice, and everything went smoothly. I just wish they attracted a better quality of people to the mini-mart.

Estimated price was significantly lower than the price I was charged even though we did not exceed the estimated mileage I entered at the time I arranged the rental. I will try avoid having to rent from U Haul in the future.

I hate your 24/7 automated truck share service. Hate hate hate hate hate it. I will NEVER NEVER ever ever use it again. I made a real reservation at a real location with a real human and you switched it without my consent to your 24/7 truck share fucking bullshit crapola. 2 hours of my life wasted going through your shitty pickup and dropoff garbage. The equipment I rented disappeared from my reservation and I had to drive extra miles at 99 cents a mile to pick it up. Thank goodness for Joseph Peaches at Parham and Staples Mill who helped me out like a real human would help another real human. Anyone who made this 24/7 truck share bullshit should be sentenced to use it to get to work every day for a year. See how they fucking like it. If I ever use UHaul again and it switches me to this horrible terrible process I will immediately cancel my reservation. The real humans I dealt with were great. Your dehumanizing, insulting garbage app was atrocious. Burn it now and send it to Hell where it belongs. Thank you for the opportunity to provide my feedback.

The vehicle was not clean in the front. The driver side door rubber seal was hanging with the blue tape while I was driving transmission was slipping, taking forever to change and I believe that’s the reason I had to put a lot more gas than I should have to. I put more than 3 to 4 gallons for driving like 25 miles. Which also seems like was a little more than the mileage calculation I did.

Please allow people to verify their identity the day before we pick up the truck. Then all we have to do is take a picture of our license and a selfie at the location and pick up the truck. It took us 50 minutes to pick up the truck because we were out of state.

The online process was slow and horrendous. Luckily the clerk at West End Market was helpful and basically did most of the work for me but still it took 15 minutes or so.

The van was filthy inside and out, but it ran just fine. The pick-up location did NOT provide the furniture dolly that I had requested and paid for in advance and the clerk stated, "I never have that equipment here so don't know why they give you that option." How do I get a refund?

The pickup process was terrible. That is not the fault of the location, but of U-Haul’s mobile process. I had to restart the process twice, having waited for the verification the first time for over 30 minutes. This delayed my getting the truck by an hour out of the four I had rented for. All this despite the fact that I had uploaded all of the info requested the night before to “make the process faster.” You did not ask the question, but I would rate this part of the process terrible and unacceptable. The rest of the rental was fine though. I would appreciate a partial refund in consideration of the full hour I lost.

It was an awful virtual experience. Your website was terrible software didn’t work and location has connectivity issues. Couldn’t upload DL and couldn’t get location services to work correctly…. Took over an hour to get the truck rented even drove to another location to try something else… my son’s name was linked to my phone number had to cancel co tract and start anew through chat…. Awful I will never waste my time again … on U-Haul it was a 15 min transaction with a real human… I don’t work for you, you work for your customers and your service is virtually non existent.

The employees at the location were not able to give correct instructions for accessing the truck, which took a long time to sort out. They did not provide the requested extra equipment (furniture dollies). Not location specific, but the check in process online was unwieldy. The link I received to "check in" didn't actually take me to a check in process. But when I got to the location and went to the website listed, I suddenly had pages to fill out and was asked for things like my passport and lease (I didn't bring those).

When I rented the U-Haul they had brown colored card board box in the back of the truck and I thought it is purposefully kept for some reason and hence I did not trash it or take it out, other than that I unloaded each and everything out from the back of the trailer and now I have been charged $25 cleaning fee which is not reasonable.

We rent a lot. Cargo not available ( this happens). Mobile app down Fri - Sat. Again. Sent email in notes when reserved that one of our guys was to pick up van. Name provided. Location not let him rent. Location would not pick up the call from uHaul. This does not happen at other locations. We can no longer trust this location 30 min delay sorting this out

Van was so filthy. Dog hair was covering both seats. Dirt and trash on the ground. Leaves etc had to sweep it out as we were transporting wedding dresses. And we had to put a plastic bag on the seat to keep the dog hair off of us. Called customer service and it was too complicated to swap out vehicle. Had to drop off original and cancel contract and make another one etc. vehicle was very old, and should no longer be in commission.

I was supposed to have a counter pick up and the guy was like call and change it to a share truck pick up and get me the code so called customer service they tried reaching out and they said no one answered so took an extra 40 min to get it all straightened out.

First of all the truck was super dirty and very bad in condition. Driving was really hard. Second I am still not able to understand why they charge for fuel. It was half tank when I got that truck and he said you can return back with same level and I captured picture for before and after. He charged me for fuel for 10 gal. It is loot which has to be taken care. I drove the truck total 9 miles and he charged me $44 for fuel. I need this issue to be resolve as I have picture also if interested I can share.

Bad pick up and return experience. There was no mention about the location not accepting web checkin and only mobile checkins are accepted. The portal was down when I returned the truck. This caused about 45 minutes delay and I missed my other appointment and had to bear a loss of about $50

There were several issues at this location. The app stated there was a key box outside beside the return box. The box was not there and the staff had no idea where it was and had to call the owner to find out the keys were in the store in a drawer. The vans were filthy extremely dirty and full of dog hair. It is obvious there were no checks done from the previous renter.

Do not rent from these people! I rented a truck for a short move to get my child's stuff out of an apartment, and into our house. Round trip, about 30 miles, just as we estimated using google maps. We returned it early (barely over 3 hours). While preparing to rent again, noticed from the bill that they charged us for 206 miles! So, according to them, I somehow drove the truck to the apartment, loaded an entire apartment worth of stuff onto a truck (me, my wife, and my kid - no pros), drove it to my house, unloaded it, got gas (I have the proof that I only added 2 gallons to refill), and drove 206 miles and still returned it in under 4 hours. Please! Do not use this store.

The seat belt on passages side was broken. The oil pressure gauge kept failing randomly setting off warning in the truck. Windshield had a crack in it. Back gate was incredibly hard to close, I had to hang on it to get the gate down. Truck has not been washed in at least a year. The gentleman that helped me was very nice though.

the store manager is a rude person and i think racist. the times that I need to rent, he always attends to his clients first and makes me wait for more than 20 minutes to give me the keys, and he always has a bad attitude

The location was sketchy (a run-down mini-mart of sorts with gamblers glued to video screens and indigents coming and going. The owner was foreign and spoke decent English and simply too the key and asked about the mileage and gas and sent us on our way

The truck was very dirty inside. A 1/2 eaten candy was in the cup holder and the steering wheel was sticky. However, checking in and out was super easy and quick.

No parking. How can you expect a customer to NOT leave their car in your parking lot when they drive away in a different vehicle? They should have allowed a 1 for 1 swap. Park my car in the same space where the Uhaul was parked. I will never use this location again.

Upon returning the truck, the owner refused to come outside and inspect the truck for damages. He said he dont have no time for that right now and for me to take pictures. He will email me my receipt. His tone of voice and attitude is unprofessional and rude. I will never rent from there again or recommend anyone else. Go to an actual Uhaul location and rent your Truck. Do not rent from this dirty mini market. This place sucks.

The website says in person drop off hours are 9-5, but when I got there, the clerk said the uhaul person would not come in until 2. I checked it in myself online, which I’m sure is what uhaul wants me to do, but I do not trust drop off locations not to claim something I s wrong just to collect more money. I prefer in person check in so that I can get the drop off receipt immediately, rather than wait 6 hours for the emailed drop off receipt, leaving me to wonder if I’m getting screwed in the meantime. They should man their uhaul operations according to their posted hours.
