Van was so filthy. Dog hair was covering both seats. Dirt and trash on the ground. Leaves etc had to sweep it out as we were transporting wedding dresses. And we had to put a plastic bag on the seat to keep the dog hair off of us. Called customer service and it was too complicated to swap out vehicle. Had to drop off original and cancel contract and make another one etc. vehicle was very old, and should no longer be in commission.

There was a folded box in the cab when I picked it up. It should probably be removed. The return process felt clunky. It would be great to have a confirmation that it was turned in.

Truck looked like poop. Driver seat was ripped apart, unable to set back to make for longer legs. 1/4:tank of fuel! I had to put fuel in it in the middle of my route..

I was supposed to have a counter pick up and the guy was like call and change it to a share truck pick up and get me the code so called customer service they tried reaching out and they said no one answered so took an extra 40 min to get it all straightened out.

First of all the truck was super dirty and very bad in condition. Driving was really hard. Second I am still not able to understand why they charge for fuel. It was half tank when I got that truck and he said you can return back with same level and I captured picture for before and after. He charged me for fuel for 10 gal. It is loot which has to be taken care. I drove the truck total 9 miles and he charged me $44 for fuel. I need this issue to be resolve as I have picture also if interested I can share.

Bad pick up and return experience. There was no mention about the location not accepting web checkin and only mobile checkins are accepted. The portal was down when I returned the truck. This caused about 45 minutes delay and I missed my other appointment and had to bear a loss of about $50

To improve the experience, the area where te trucks are parked should be cleaned up. There is trash and a bunch of leaves to walk through.

We were cancelled and relocated TWICE due to vans not being returned. This caused a big delay for us. The second cancellation came 30 min prior to pick up.

There were several issues at this location. The app stated there was a key box outside beside the return box. The box was not there and the staff had no idea where it was and had to call the owner to find out the keys were in the store in a drawer. The vans were filthy extremely dirty and full of dog hair. It is obvious there were no checks done from the previous renter.

Do not rent from these people! I rented a truck for a short move to get my child's stuff out of an apartment, and into our house. Round trip, about 30 miles, just as we estimated using google maps. We returned it early (barely over 3 hours). While preparing to rent again, noticed from the bill that they charged us for 206 miles! So, according to them, I somehow drove the truck to the apartment, loaded an entire apartment worth of stuff onto a truck (me, my wife, and my kid - no pros), drove it to my house, unloaded it, got gas (I have the proof that I only added 2 gallons to refill), and drove 206 miles and still returned it in under 4 hours. Please! Do not use this store.

The seat belt on passages side was broken. The oil pressure gauge kept failing randomly setting off warning in the truck. Windshield had a crack in it. Back gate was incredibly hard to close, I had to hang on it to get the gate down. Truck has not been washed in at least a year. The gentleman that helped me was very nice though.

the store manager is a rude person and i think racist. the times that I need to rent, he always attends to his clients first and makes me wait for more than 20 minutes to give me the keys, and he always has a bad attitude

The location was sketchy (a run-down mini-mart of sorts with gamblers glued to video screens and indigents coming and going. The owner was foreign and spoke decent English and simply too the key and asked about the mileage and gas and sent us on our way

The truck was very dirty inside. A 1/2 eaten candy was in the cup holder and the steering wheel was sticky. However, checking in and out was super easy and quick.

No parking. How can you expect a customer to NOT leave their car in your parking lot when they drive away in a different vehicle? They should have allowed a 1 for 1 swap. Park my car in the same space where the Uhaul was parked. I will never use this location again.

Upon returning the truck, the owner refused to come outside and inspect the truck for damages. He said he dont have no time for that right now and for me to take pictures. He will email me my receipt. His tone of voice and attitude is unprofessional and rude. I will never rent from there again or recommend anyone else. Go to an actual Uhaul location and rent your Truck. Do not rent from this dirty mini market. This place sucks.

The website says in person drop off hours are 9-5, but when I got there, the clerk said the uhaul person would not come in until 2. I checked it in myself online, which I’m sure is what uhaul wants me to do, but I do not trust drop off locations not to claim something I s wrong just to collect more money. I prefer in person check in so that I can get the drop off receipt immediately, rather than wait 6 hours for the emailed drop off receipt, leaving me to wonder if I’m getting screwed in the meantime. They should man their uhaul operations according to their posted hours.

Friendly staff and it’s convenient that they’re open until midnight. However, it took forever for me to finish the check out process, as the worker kept stopping the process to instead give priority to customers of the convenience store any time one walked up to the register.

Truck was parked in the woods and covered with leaves. I also reserved 2 furniture dollys, which the location did not have. After getting the truck, I had to drive to another location to get the dollys and handtruck. This added at an additional 45 minutes to my pick up time.

The truck needed stabilitrack service due to which the truck was not stable and I had a hard time driving from VA to NC. I was scared for my life that the truck will slide off the highway at many situations without the stability! I am not happy with the rental truck I got and would be nice if you gave me some money back.

They have so much on display, you cant even see the person you are talking to. The app pick up process wouldnt work so I had to go in and they told me they can help but they are going to take care of everyone else first. Her attitude was awful. “Its brand new, so dont scratch it” “dont lose the key or its $100”. My quote was for $30 online, final charges were double that. A rip off and a scam. They even asked me not to leave my car there because its a small lot….but its a mini mart…not something of high demand AND im taking a can and replacing it with my vehicle, they arent out extra spaces. Its just an exchange. Their phone number is even disconnected so I wasnt even sure if it was a viable location. Terrible overall. I hate dealing with Uhaul about as much as comcast or USPS

Got there on time and had to wait for 20 min to pick up my rental. The internet is down at the location and no help. They asked me to call online to check in. Later on internet is back and been asked all the questions again which I finished already and answered online prior to picking up. I will never go there. Sorry. Better service is need it.

I would not go here again. Check in was on line but had to wait and go through normal process. There was a woman ahead of me buying beer at 8 am and the man behind me was buying CBD gummies. The vehicle was ok and return process smooth.

The was the only bright star in our rental debacle. This location was staffed, friendly, efficient, in and out in five minutes. No complaints about this location; entire rental experience on the other hand, will make me avoid using U-Haul in the future.

First, they (female attendant) asked me to park the truck in another location behind the store which looked like a dump site. I went in and the attendent asked for the key. I asked for a receipt of return and she stated that she doesn't have time to do that. If I wanted one, I would have to wait for her husband to come in. She was more interested in attending to her convenience store customers then to her U-Haul customers. It was cold and raining so I didn't want to stand outside and take pictures and etc for the online return. But I didn't have time to wait around for someone to return to help me out. I went ahead and got wet doing the online return. Clearly I was upset at the unprofessional service I experienced at this location and I will certainly NOT recommend them. This locations does NOT represent U-Haul and will surely hurt your business. I spent a lot of money on this truck to be treated like crap.

Vehicle dirty when I picked it up. Photo uploaded. Yet, I was charged a cleaning fee of $25. Asked to checkout to the vehicle when I was there, attended refused and said I would receive a receipt 3 hours later. So the $25 extra charge is no surprise, really! Unscruplous. I will not return to this location.
