The car trailer I rented has a poorly designed rear section. My car is fairly low, which means I can not load my car facing forward. BUT, the trailer only has the fold away fender on the drivers side, so I have to crawl out through the passenger side door. I have rented another these in the past and both of them clearly had damage on the inside rear section of the rails that the vehicle sits on. That damage was obviously caused by a loading car, so it easy to conclude that the car was getting damaged also. This is a simple fix. The angle on the rear section on the rail needs to cut back at a sallower angle. And have the passenger side fender modified to fold down like the driver side.

JAMES YIt took almost an hour for me to pick up the truck. There was only 1 employee working and a long line of customers waiting. Surely they know how many reservations there and can staff accordingly.

EDWARD RThis location had terrible customer service. We had come to this location with a reservation guarantee and they did not have any closed trailers at all. The worker was rude and bluntly asked what we expected him to do. ??? There is one service uhaul provides so probably what I wanted was the trailer I reserved. The onus of solving this issue should not be on the customer. Before making a reservation guarantee, perhaps have the worker check to see if there is any trailer in sight. If not, maybe try calling the customer before they drive way out of their way to come pick up the trailer (this was the second failed reservation guarantee of the day- the first was at another location). Instead of our $30 trailer reservation, we ended up with a uhaul van that cost $96.52 after the mileage charge, which would not have happened if the guaranteed trailer was available. We also had to drive our vehicle behind the van for the duration of our move in day, incurring even more out of pocket costs. Additionally, the two failed “reservation guarantees” from two different uhaul locations put us two hours behind schedule for our move in day activities and scheduled furniture pick up.
URIAH AThis was the best drop off u-haul for us. People very friendly and helpful.
RUTH SExterior of truck was muddy. Didn’t really affect my experience, inside was a little dusty. Drivers lock didn’t work using a key, had to be locked by pushing the little knob down and could only be unlocked from the inside by either the passenger or by entering through the passenger door.
ALEC MBad attitude. No business acumen. Charge me, falsely for extra fuel and fuel service fee. I brought truck back exactly where I received it with regard to fuel load. Crooks. MF. I highly recommend going to another location. DH Westlake Village
DANIEL HI was overcharged on mileage and the receipt has an incorrect return time. I have exact address and GPS mapping of where i went. The initial check in with employee we estimated 30miles. I actually traveled 29. I would like our charge corrected. I called the office and the man said he couldn't help me.

STEVEN RWhen I made reservation it was not made clear that a one month storage unit was not 30 days from the time of rental. I am very disappointed that I had to pay for the last week of February and then for the whole month of March when I will only be using it for a total of 2 weeks.

Libby BI went to pick up the truck in Oxnard. When the employee at the storage unit opened it, it was full of stuff from the last person who rented it. No one checked to see if the truck was empty. This delayed my trip. The closest truck available was in Thousand Oaks, California. My wife had to drive me there to pick up the truck. When I returned, I had to pay for a Lyft to get home. This was a total disaster. I waited awhile to take this survey to calm down and clear my mind. You owe me some compensation.
BRIAN MEnsure that 24/7 pickup service works properly. It did not work for me and I needed to wait until normal business hours for pickup.
DEVON IIn the beginning all customer service was great. After I left with the dirty truck and no hand truck which was reserved weeks in advance the truck proceeded to overheat going up the Moorpark to Simi Valley grade and then a check engine light came on. I called multiple times with no answer and left messages for someone to please return my call. I never heard from anyone. I slowly drove the truck back on surface streets and returned it to some kid sitting at a desk who replied sorry, but obviously couldn’t do anything for my situation. Apparently all trucks were rented that day. I think I deserve a refund.

Justice KTruck made a lot of engine noise. If I had been taking it out of town, I think I would have been concerned. No auto door locks, window controls, or back up camera. My cell phone doesn't get any reception out on Lawrence Dr. so I can only pick up or drop off when the "store" is open. The formula for insurance cost has changed so uhaul isn't the good deal it once was.

RENEE BThe truck was "ok" but there was a fair bit of dirt & gravel in the cab of the truck along with some spilled soda on the floor. Nothing horrible, but a few minutes with a broom made a huge difference before we dropped it off! The staff were able to get us in/out fast, but could come across as a little "indifferent." Overall I got the truck, it did the job.

janelle PLocation was not the one I originally selected. Location in an office park with very little signage. Office was disheveled. Vehicle was not as clean as I would have expected. Truck only had 1/4 tank. Needed gas before I could even do anything. Would not return to this location.
CHRISTIE ARented on 10/26-27, returned 10/27 9am.The truck was dirty inside and out. Had to wash the windshield -so dirty. There were marbles left in upholder. The left turn signal was double blinking- like a fuse was not working. I informed the attendant, he said he would take care of it. The mileage when I left showed 16626, but the receipt shows 16620?. Not oké , I like my original place on Hillcrwar drive much better for next time. Contract 12487509
