I wish Uhaul would give pricing based on # of days needed for the trailer. We went across state lines from CA to AZ but turned it in the next day even though the rental was for 3 days. We didn't need it that long. I use Uhaul for all of my moving needs for years now. It just would be nice to have options with the pricing for the tine you actually need the equipment for.

The rate to rent is excessive & over market car rentals reduce the rate. I was unable to rent a small van or pickup truck for my needs because Uhaul’s policy will not accept the US Treasury’s Direct Express card for a 1 day rental. Revisit the policy & charge a larger deposit to protect for customers needing to extend their rental!!! This was very inconvenient & a huge turn off & cause of high levels of dissatisfaction. No charger plugs in the 10ft truck! For a one day rental my total cost added to Uhauls fees was 65.00 for round trip transportation to & fr rental location, plus 25.00 to replace gas. The total costs for one day =$$$$ 203.00!!! For local in the area errands!!! As a senior on a fixed income this cost was excessive, noncompetitive and far too expensive. Additionally the truck was too hard to climb in/out with no step ladder for either the box storage area and the cabin. It was really bad I could not rent a small van or pickup using my US Treasury Debit Card! Horrible so no I would not recommend Uhaul to my friends or family!

I only came to this location because the Agoura Hills location where I booked the truck, didn't have the one I booked available when I arrived. So there is a fail for UHaul right from the start. I also don't understand why you don't start with a full tank of gas. I got just 3 miles before the gas warning light came on. When I rent a car, it comes full, and then I fill it up at the closest station just before I return it so it is full for the next person. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.

The computer system was glitching when we arrived and we had to wait 45 minutes to get our truck, which was frustrating. But the representative was very nice and was doing her best.

The first time I rented a 6x12ft. enclosed trailer 10/7/25, it did not have inside rails to tie down my cargo which meant the load could shift around at will while I was on the road. The trailer itself is well built and tracked behind my truck beautifully. I recently rented another 6x12ft. enclosed trailer. It had tie down rails on both sides of the trailer which worked out great. again these are well built trailers. my only complaint was that I stopped at a rest stop while darkness was upon me and decided to check for running lights. There were none. Panic kinda sets in. When I picked up the trailer I had the U-Haul attendant check the lights while I worked the main items. he said all was well. I bought a new trailer connecter the first time I rented. I know it worked well. Renters beware. I will still use U-Haul in the future.

This U-Haul location was strange and off-putting. The office was smelly, cluttered and unprofessional. Even though there were U-Haul vehicles around and a little bit of corporate signage, it did not feel at all like a U-Haul location. I felt like I was not in the right place . When I arrived there was no U-Haul staff person there. There was another customer and she said she had been waiting 10 minutes and hadn't seen anybody. Fortunately the one person who appeared to be working there showed up shortly and helped me. He was friendly enough and knowledgeable. The drop off experience was a little strange. I took my own pictures to document just in case. In previous times I used an app to take pictures and upload them. After dropping off the vehicle I returned to the office because I wanted some kind of confirmation that I did it right and I wanted a legal receipt saying that the equipment was received. Fortunately I was able to get that in an email pretty quickly.

Frustrating start, helpful employee, but overall lost 2 hours My truck was supposed to be ready for a 7:00 AM mobile pickup, but no equipment was assigned to my reservation. The location didn’t open until 8:00 AM, so customer service redirected me to the Kimber Dr. location. I tried two different trucks there and couldn’t access either one. Since it was almost 8:00 AM, customer service sent me back to the original pickup site. The employee arrived about 10 minutes late, but once he got there he was very helpful and had me on the road within about 10 minutes. The location also had no moving blankets or a furniture dolly as advertised, so I had to drive to the Oxnard location to get blankets. Overall, I lost about 2 hours because of all the back-and-forth. The staff member on site was great, but the scheduling, equipment readiness, and inventory issues were extremely frustrating.

Your app to rent is useless. I showed up a little before opening since it said I could do it all online. After several minutes it told me I needed to call a human. He said you app is useless and I needed to wait for the human. Well 5 people showed up for the opening so by the time I got waited on I was 30 mins late to meet my movers. Never use your app again. Tell the humans to show up on time.

I was directed to this facility because they had the vehicle I was reserving available. I have used this facility before for renting a truck and others for trailers and we also rented storage inside the warehouse here one summer between school for a Cal-Lu student. My repeated service rentals have always been good and the staff responsive easy to deal with.

I've rented from this location several times, pickup is always quick and easy. Drop-off is super convenient, being able to come before they open or after they close.

Negatives = the inside cabin had a sticky feel and the windshield was extremely dirty which made it difficult to see. The cabin was extremely noisy with wind and the radio was terrible. Positives = drove like a truck, the seats were comfortable. The performance of the acceleration was good and the handling was good. We got our pick up and drop of easily finished and would rent this truck again.

The whole process has been great from picking up to dropping off the trailer, it’s been very convenient! I particularly like having the ability to return the rental after hours, it was a wonderful surprise when I figured that was an option.

Door was extremely malfunctioning and nearly impossible to open and close. Shane was awesome and the 2nd guy said it was a 1 way, so they didnt know door was broken.

Waited 30mn for a young inexperienced guy to help me. He did not inspect vehicles for/with me. Did not tell me SafeMove Plus was available. Truck size was 15 or 26ft- the 20’ I wanted and they had he wouldn’t give me. Truck under 1/4 full. Had to immediately get gas.

When I picked up the trailer, it had a nail in the driver's side rear wheel. I call the office and they gave me the number for roadside assistance. The person who came out did a great job. Had I not seen the nail in the tire, I may have had a flat.

You rented us a trailer with a bad tire that blew out and almost caused a massive accident. Your roadside service is an utter embarrassment and needs retraining although the woman who came on duty during our roadside emergency was trying to be helpful even though her coworker clocked out without transferring care ir giving her any information as to our situation. We were stranded in the side of a busy highway from 10:15 pm till 5:30 am the next morn8ng with little to no communication, no bathroom facilities. Then they wanted to double stack the broken trailer and my car on 1 flatbed to tow back into town. Do you have any idea how illegal that is not to mention the risk AND you actually wanted me to put my 30K Lexus is just bought last year( which i waited a long time to have) on the flatbed on top of the broken trailer. What the hell is going on with UHAULS ROADSIDE SERVICE?? You have uhauls in most every city- not rocket science to easily contract with a tow company in each city if not team up with AAA! DO BETTER! I will never use uhsul or recommend your services after this nightmare experiance. 3 days driving and 84 miles from destination your equipment gave out. Then up all night waiting for help that never came. Only to hire our own tow company to finish the 84 mile drive after already driving 13 hours and then having to wait for emergency roadside service that we had to pay for. So disappointed.

Our unit was infested with rat poop and they refused to call the other unties to notify them or us that there was an issue and failed to rectify the situation or compensate us for damages They keep their storage units so dark and don’t have any pest control. They need to be held accountable for the damages done to my belongings. The person we spoke to was very rude and condescending and has still failed to get us the information needed to submit a proper claim.
