When I returned the vehicle and the Transaction was closed out, I asked for a copy of the Receipt but was told that was not possible. I should check out how much was withdrawn from the Credit Card. I found this to be insulting and a very poor Business practice from U-Haul Westlock. After repeatedly asking for a receipt that I would expect from any Business Transaction, the young lady finally was able to tell me the amount but could not produce a Receipt. Later, when I checked my e-mail, I saw that a Receipt had been emailed to me. While this provided what I was asking for, I feel the U-Haul Dealer should have been able to provide the Receipt when the Truck was returned and verified. What do you think?
David MThe drivers before did not clean out the truck I have pictures of the dirt I had to clean out. But the representative told me that they did not fuel the truck of give the right milage either so. Not your fault but this is the second time in a year that I had to sweep and clean the truck out before I got to use it. Other the that it's always a great service thank you for always being there when I need to rent a truck.
Garrett FThe truck wouldn't start. needed to be boosted. no help was given, a set of booster cables was given and told to boost it myself. The box was full of snow. the outside was full of snow as well. had to spend half an hour ro get the vehicle ready to drive. very poor customer service!
Wendy MWent to pick up location for contactless pick up and this location did not offer it so I had to change all my moving plans cancel my help. Went back the next day truck was dirty had empty coffee cups and bottles and km and gas did not match what they said inside. Told them and when i returned the truck I was charged for the extra km on the truck after reporting it to them and reporting it on the online inspection

angela RSame problem as the gas station, they are running a separate business first, and then trying to do U-Haul second. Drop off took a very long time after a tiring weekend of moving.

Patricia ROvercharged as after hour service fee. We drop off at 8pm and no drop box key therr and next day they open at 1000am and we drop offthe keyat same time and end of the dsy they chaged credit card with after hours service fee.
Linto NThe drop off is at the Brick Furniture Store and they did not check this trailer back in for several days and would not take my drop off fee payment
DENISE SThe unit wasn't the cleanest and also had a couple warning lights on the dash, otherwise it did the job.
Duane RThe car dolly I rented had some garbage and old appliance parts on it from the brick that I had to clean off. And the same day my mother in law rented a moving truck and it wasn't until we drove 45mins away that we discovered it was almost half full of packaging from appliance and furniture packaging from the brick. U-haul should seriously consider using somewhere other than the brick in westlock
Matthias JMake sure that the U-Haul is empty and clean before renting it to a mother person I think you should refund me for the extra cost to take this vehicle to the dump and empty it out. This cost extra money for gas and time and effort before I could even use it.
Sarah MDelayed rental lost 2 hrs because the system had a glitch. It would not let them reassign the truck as drop off had problems.
Kenneth MFuel tank was only at 1/4. I needed to fill the truck before using it ang guess how much fuel I would use. I ended up filling it for over $200 and left over half a tank in the truck so it cost me over $100 mote than it should have.

Kenneth Mto put a full tank of gas,not just a quarter..but the guy was so friendly and accommodating.service is perfect.thank u and appreciate the assistance.one last thing, we booked online for a 48hrs and received email confirmation that it was ready and we got the truck and lately notice the due date on the printed contract was only 24hrs with the same amount.thats the only weird issue but all went well with the trip.thanks again
maria pI was here for just about 2 hours trying to pick up my reservation. Ended up phoning uhaul and was transfered 4 times before I was put in touch with the right representative covering the area..
Victoria yAbsolutely helpful and told me I would get my $100 deposit back and that I can drop off at ANY U-Haul in Edmonton.
Remington GProvide them with a debit/credit card reader to be able to process the return of the deposit simpler.

Philip TCons: 1. U HAUL is very expensive 2. Gasoline gouging old trucks 3. Very hard to get vehicles in rural areas. Pros: 1. No competition because it's the only on the market.
PALLI SRecognize that some people live on a farm and have large distances to drop off the truck. I was over charged because of the distance I had to travel to drop off the truck. Not fair play.
Joe BThe app allowed me to complete an after hours drop off but there is no drop box at the location, I had to return the following day to give the keys back.
Doug Cnot send me 4 hours to a different town because all the trucks 300km radius were broken. half the people I called hung up on me. uhaul was a horrible experience.

Trevor WFrom start to finish, my experience with the Westlock UHaul was a disaster. I would absolutely NOT recommend them to my worst enemy. I was lied to, the equipment was filthy- and those were the more pleasant aspects. The service was beyond terrible, the broker rude and dismissive. Three times I tried to confirm information, was given the affirmative, and then he did the exact thing I was trying to confirm would NOT happen. UHaul needs to seriously rethink their standards for representatives in this area. Fortunately, the regional manager was very responsive to my complaints, and seemed to take them seriously. For him, I have fair praise.

Angeline BMake sure trucks are in working order as mine was not maintained not working spent a whole day on the side of the road waiting for road assistance and ended up having a hotel bill and charged extra for the gas in the u haul upon return even though I has more gas in it then when I started out. I had to have a replacement u haul transfer all of my stuff twice. I would never recommend u haul to anyone it was a horrible experience. Couldn't get my refund either as they put my account on hold 3 times for 72 hrs each time.

Edward MUhaul customer service/scheduling messed up my order...again. It's not the individual locations that are bad, it's the head office/customer service that's bad.

Duane MMy only complaint was we have a U-Haul location out of Barrhead and I was told I wouldn’t get charged extra Kms cause i was suppose to pick up in Barrhead and had to drive to westlock to pick up and they made me return to westlock as I could of Just dropped off truck in barrhead. Seems ridiculous to me!!
Greg SCab and storage area should be throughly cleaned before each pickup.Vehicle should have a full tank of gas at pickup and renter to fill upon return.Had only 1/4 tank at pickup, not acceptable…Bad policy
loralee hReserved a uhaul a couple of weeks in advance, then received a call that no vehicle was available at this location and was directed to pick up at another location. Go to pick up at that location in Legal and there was an issue with the contract and took over an hour to get it sorted only to discover the truck was stuck in the mud and could not get out. Looked on line and saw a truck was available for pick up at this Westlock location after all and drove back to pick it up. Was able to finally get a truck after driving between locations and almost a complete waste of a day. Scheduled pick up was at 10 am and finally picked up after 5 pm
Marnie DRenting a truck from you was a disaster. First rental was to be at 830 and that got cancelled. They then said I could go get a truck at 10 at the sleep shop. They did not show up until 10:45 and then had no listing that I was to get a truck. When I eventually got a truck is was filthy inside I uploaded a photo and now you are dinging me 25 to clean it which sucks. all this experience left a poor taste in my mouth.
