This was hands down most disappointing U-Haul Experience. I originally booked at the 17th Street U-Haul location however a breakdown meant I wasn’t able to pick up there. An attendant from the 17th street location was awesome and transferred my reservation to the location on 74Ave & 50Street. The truck was dirty when I arrived, the cab was full of rocks, dirt, food crumbs, and empty pop bottles and cans. The attendant didn’t seem to understand that I’d completed my pick up and return in the app and it took extra time to get the keys. When I returned the U-Haul I couldn’t mark down that it was dirty without being charged $25. Honestly - I’m disappointed and frustrated. The 17th Street location has been my go-to because they’re awesome. I won’t be picking up from a non-UHaul location in the future.

Formal Complaint: Unacceptable Service and Lack of Professional Training I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service at this establishment. The lack of staff training is beyond unacceptable. Even though I was the only customer waiting, the staff member on duty was completely ignorant of the rental procedures. To my absolute disbelief, they even asked me, the customer, for the vehicle key box password. This level of incompetence is unheard of in this industry. Furthermore, there was a severe billing error where I was charged for a two-day rental after using the vehicle for only five hours. I was forced to waste my time visiting the 51 Ave office in person to file a claim and resolve this issue. This company must prioritize comprehensive staff training immediately. It is your responsibility to ensure that no other customers are subjected to such extreme inconvenience and unprofessionalism in the future.
