COLLIN Jrented a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer. very dissapointes that toungue jack and hitch locking pin are not standard equipment. its a significant safety hazard. will not be renting from u haul again.

STEVEN SHelpful knowledgeable and efficient PLUS the manager was really nice. We were a little early and the office accommodated us and brought our vehicle forward quickly. The APP that helped us record with pictures and comments regarding the state of the vehicle, mileage and fuel was awesome. The vehicle itself was great and pretty fuel efficient considering it was packed without a spare inch.

Edward GA few days prior to my rental, I booked a trailer at the 484 Essa Rd location in Barrie. On the day of pickup, I was informed that the trailer I had reserved was not available and was redirected to the 221 Mapleview Dr West location. Although this was an inconvenience, I agreed, as it was not too far away. Upon arriving at the Mapleview location, I found the office difficult to locate. Once inside, I had to wait because the staff were assisting with services unrelated to U-Haul. When I was finally helped, I was told I would need to complete paperwork again, despite having already done everything online. I was then informed that the trailer was not actually available there either, and that I would need to drive to yet another location approximately 20 minutes away. With weekend traffic, this would have taken closer to 45 minutes. While I reluctantly agreed, the staff at the Mapleview location were unhelpful and dismissive, making me feel as though I was inconveniencing them by asking for assistance. On my way to the third location, I decided to stop back at the 484 Essa Rd branch. To my surprise, there was in fact a trailer available on-site. The staff there were professional, helpful, and efficient—they quickly resolved the issue, made the necessary changes, and had me on my way without further problems. While I greatly appreciate the excellent service at the Essa Rd location, I am very disappointed with the experience at the Mapleview location. Not only did this cause unnecessary stress and wasted time, but it also left me questioning the reliability of my reservation. I respectfully ask that U-Haul review this matter and take steps to ensure that reservations are honored as confirmed, and that customer service at all locations reflects the standard of professionalism demonstrated at the Essa Rd branch. LOC PCyl the lady customer service representative at the front desk counter was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and super efficient as well as friendly. She handled everything smoothly. There was quite a lineup the day I picked up the truck, it was unbelievable how quick she handled everyone’s transactions. Best customer experience I have ever had after using UHaul at several other locations. Definitely recommend using this location.

Jamie AReceived the trailer to deliver boxed furniture to my new house 3 houes north of this location. The party who had rented prior to my rental appeared to of been moving oil products like oil drums and mechanical items. By the time I got to Sudbury all my boxes were absolutely soaked wet through with old oil. Not impressed at all....Not cleaning in or outside of trailer and I'd suggest I should not of paid. Amazing staff.

TERRY SAll rentals should be ready to check in using app, I have to wait in a line for almost 45 minutes for the process which can be done easily through the app.
KARANJEET SThe lady attended us are very friendly and helpful. Drop off was no-contact, and easy to find return box. Inside the van was clean enough but windshield was a bit dirty with bags already from the rented time. We didn't leave any stain or the garbage left on it, but cleaning fee $25 was charged. Maybe because we left blankets messy. Over all, my experience was Above Average!!

JEREMY HWhen returning the truck the morning lady was cold. Even though they were arranging vehicles no good morning just”I send the receipt “. They also had a lemon quarter that my grandchildren were interested in. As we should inside doing this she came in “ I told you I would send the receipt “ even though she was not communicating with us the other 2 employees that we rented from where very nice. Hopefully when dealing with the other employee she will be better. I’ll chalk it up with maybe a bad day

WENDY LSimple lot for drop off. I arrived after hours so there was no personnel. I was over charged for going over the mileage for my trip even though U-haul promised to give me double the mileage due to the reservation discrepancy. I was supposed to get 200km for the trip, but I was forced to pay additional for traveling just over 100km.

PETER LVery frustrating an order say 4hr rental and no info on how to access the truck, also billing showed the truck being picked up at Essa rooad and returned in Tiny Twnship. As it was a holiday the day before and we’d scheduled to pick up at 7am we couldn’t get hold of anyone. I actually booked for 24hrs 2way trip. Pick up at 7am. I called 3 times and was told twice the order said 4 hrs so the Second Lady corrected it. I called back to ask a question and was told the order said 24hrs return, pick up 7am! but that wasn’t the order summary I received! Not good experience compared to my last rental from U-Haul. I will use them again and hope it goes better.
