I was messaged by the uhaul attendant that morning to let me know what to do incase he had left for the day. What wasn’t communicated to me was that the location that I was going to be dropped off was changed. So I had to drive another 20 mins down the highway and was fuel charged because I now was coming back with less than I’d left with (which I filled up with enough to leave the truck as I had received it if I had gone to the original location) My issue with the company has been communication through the whole thing

Paul KI had a good experience overall with U-Haul — especially the location in Surrey, which I would definitely recommend. However, my entire experience changed when it came time to drop off the truck in Hope. I had selected Hope Towing as my drop-off location, but I was later told I had to return it to Whistle RV instead. When I tried to complete the mobile drop-off, the system would not allow me to return the rental at the location I originally selected. I called customer service for help, explained that the original drop-off location was right next to my home, and requested assistance. Unfortunately, the representative repeatedly told me that I could not drop it there and that I would be charged extra if I did. There was no flexibility or solution offered. As a result, I had to drop the truck 12 km away from my home. There were no taxis available for two hours, so I ended up walking back along the highway at night. It was unsafe, exhausting, and completely unnecessary. This experience was extremely disappointing and has changed my perception of U-Haul. While the pickup experience was smooth, the drop-off process was stressful and frustrating. I hope U-Haul improves communication and flexibility for customers in the future Even guys ate drop off were very nice but the process and hustle i have to do was much horrible .
BHUVAN Dnew person was helpful however the person he was speaking on the phone took a very long time to get me on my way. this location was changed at the last minute for me to pick up at and it was quite inconvient. no spare tire for the trailer
