There was no legitimate UHaul drop box like normal, just a blue mailbox by their storage facility that wasn't even locked or have a lock in it for after hours returns, so just anyone could swing by and pick up a key and a truck and the original key holder would end up being responsible - not ideal. Also, website said return box was near main entrance and it wasn't, it was in the back by their storage units - online instructions definitely need to include this. Other than that, no issues.

No improvements necessary, please just maintain the service and equipment as is currently to ensure that future customers, myself included, have the same great experience that I did. I expected there to be a spare tire on the trailer, there were none. The trailer was not real clean, not terrible. The pick up process took me about an hour because the location had system issues and had to contact Uhaul. My biggest issue!! I completed all the detailed information on line with the UHaul website. I inputted all my vital information, driver license number, towing vehicle plate number, truck towing capacity, hitch capacity, ball capacity, which in total took me about 20 min. because I had to look up the towing info, get my plate number and drivers license number. When I arrived at the pickup site, I had to provide all that information again for them to put into the system!!! I fully expected to walk in, give my name, have them print off a contract, me sign it and be on my way. But instead wasted about an hour redoing what I had done at home. WTF!!

Instead of making me drive 45 minutes to get a trailer that has been reserved for 2 weeks, allow customers to pickup the trailer where they requested it.

The truck front end shimmied, the truck stopped running on a New York toll bridge while being driven. . 4 lanes wide in a traffic jam. If we had not brought walkie talkies my wife would have been stranded. We were lucky to get the truck to a far left lane. There are no break down lanes. The truck gave an error message after being driven a 100 miles (since it was last stopped) or so, that the parking brake was on and shut down the truck while my wife was driving the truck behind me. The parking brake was not on. My wife cycled the parking brake, and on the third on/ off cycle of the parking brake, the truck ran again. This was a poor rental at best. We had to clean parts of the interior and wash the windshield so we could see out of it. The truck body was well dented and scraped up before we rented it. Why don't you repair the body damage instead of putting little Xes on the damaged areas? The people at this location were actually very nice, all of them, the equipment was the issue.

There should be someone on staff at all times that knows how to safely connect the trailer to the vehicle. Safety is a serious issue and must come before other aspects of the rental.

Uhaul, as a whole, could improve by not sending customers to multiple locations to pick up equipment.

Don't promise me a location w/ a 26' truck 15 minutes from my home (in Henderson, Kentucky), then when you call to confirm my reservation, tell me the only 26' truck within a 50-mile radius is in New Harmony, IN, a full 55 minute drive from my house. When I called to try to change my reservation back to the Henderson location (as I promised) I am told a bunch of nonsense as to why it happened, and I am promised a $50 credit that I HAVE STILL NEVER RECEIVED. I understand that it's a holiday weekend, but I expect more out of U-haul. On top of it all, we were given a truck that puttered SEVERELY the entire 3.5 hours we had to drive. I'm a 120lb, 5'2 woman & my husband literally saw my body thrusting back and forth. The trip was miserable. Additionally, there wasn't a tow dolly or Automator/ whatever it's called (I forgot the name) even remotely nearby - 2 hours was our closest option. So we had to drive our vehicles. The only positive was that the location we rented from provided excellent service.

Dear U haul I have been renting equipment for over 20 years now. I have never hurt,misplaced or abused your equipment . How about a little respect? Fix your computer system already. Keep my info so I do not have to jump though hoops EVERY TIME I RENT FROM YOU. Speed up the process of renting equipment

I had to drive 30 miles there and 30 miles back because the pickup location I was given near Evansville was closed in the middle of the day without warning. I did get the $50 dollar availability guarantee but then I was charged for the extra mileage when I dropped off in St. Louis. very frustrating. The ladies at the New Harmony, IN location were very kind and helpful, however and the auto transport trailer worked great.

It is nothing against William Wilson Auction, but, When I first made my reservations with U-Haul I contacted the rental site on Riverside Drive in Evansville, Indiana and made all arrangements for pick up at THAT site as it was only a few blocks from my daughters house which was the location I would be loading the truck at (and it would cut down on the mileage). ON Thursday, April 3, 2014 I received a telephone call from the Riverside location confirming that I still wanted the truck. I discussed everything with the person from Riverside and we agreed upon pickup times and return times. ON Friday, April 4, 2014 I received a telephone call from Deanne at the Wilson Auction site and I explained to her about my coordination with Wilsons. Deanne was understanding (and patient with me). I then received a call from the district (?) scheduling office stating that I had no choice but to pick up the truck at the Wilson Auction site. I gave up on trying to pick the truck up at a more convenient location and called Deanne back. We coordinated my pick up time and return time on Saturday, April 5, 2014. At about 1:00 A.M. on April 5, 2014 I was woken up by my telephone ringing. When I answered to phone it was a recorded message from U-Haul which matched the usual message when the reservation telephone number is called. Having already discussed it with Deanne and it being 1:00 A.M. in the morning, I hung up. At approximately 1:20 A.M. I received a second call (which again woke me) from an irate (unknown) person accusing me of taking their truck by mistake because their reserved 20' truck was not at the location, but the 14' was. Evidently, we both had coordinated where our paperwork and keys to the vehicles would be since we were picking up prior to the site being open. I explained to the irate person that I did not have their truck and that I was not going to pick my truck up until 7:00 A.M. (and hung up). I arrived to pick my truck up and everything was ready. There was also a 20' truck sitting at the site. Beside the fact that I had to go through all of the above my complaint is that I had to drive the truck an additional 44 miles to get to my daughters house (which would have been only 1.5 miles from the Riverside location)and then I had to drive an additional 33 miles to return the truck. I have a bill (statement in front of me which almost makes up for the way I was treated (about the site locations) and the harassing telephone calls at 1A.M. of a morning. I do appreciate the discount that I received on my total bill and believe that the discount came from the diligent work of Deanne at the Wilson Site. This is the second time in my life that I have used U-Haul and have been satisfied with the trucks both times. I would recommend its use by others but only after giving a recall of this incident and the scheduling. I believe that it would better to reserve through the site than a district office. If its a "where is the truck at" issue, then it would be up

I submitted a request to have the trailer delivered at riverside evansville indiana. the company waited till 2 days that was supposed to use the trailer to tell me that my trailer would have to be picked up new harmony indiana, which is 45 minutes away from evansville. the whole reason I requested riverside road was because it was right there by my storage unit. when I called your company the lady that I talk to very rude to me and I'm concerned. the day that I use the trailer when I pick up there was nobody to help. I had planned on moving at 8 o'clock in the morning. I did not head out for texas till 1 o'clock in the afternoon. needless to say I was upset so again I called your company u-haul and asked to speak to a manager. she did not think answered either like the first lady I talk to a couple days prior. after explaining to her that my father who was the 1 that was driving me back to texas how to open heart surgery a couple months ago and should not be picking the trailer up without help, only then did she act concerned. She told me she would credit me credit card $40 for gas. Still have not seen the money and I'm sure you guys could care less bout my troubles with your company. I will NEVER rent from uhaul again. I will be sure to let people know my whole experience.

The 4x8 unit leaked on my furniture when it rained. It had so many repairs... It was junk. This was not the site's fault though. It was left there by another customer. At least they had what I needed- nobody else did.

I had ordered a 17 foot truck and got a 14 foot truck. This was not the fault of Wilson Auction but U-Haul. Wilson worked very hard to solve the problem and keep me happy.
