Charles MMy original pick up location was at 2758 17th ave connector Springfield tn 37172. I had a reservation made for a week. I go into the pick up location at my appointment time for them to tell me the truck I had that they reserved for me was not at the location. Supposedly because it hadn’t been returned by the user of it before me. Also there were no other available trucks nearby. I had to drive a extra 26 miles to auburn Kentucky to get a truck. That was absolutely absurd and ridiculous. It was such a inconvenience and it put me behind on my move by 2 hours. Ridiculous isn’t even the word to describe my experience with this. Pissed off doesn’t even cover it. I paid the same price as if I would have with the original pickup location. UHAUL should reimburse me for the extreme ridiculous inconvenience I had to experience. I will no longer use UHAUL. UHUAL WILL NO LONGER GET MY BUSINESS. I will also advise any of my friends or family to find a different company to use for moving. ALSO I want to make it clear it was NOT the Auburn Kentucky location. It was the SPRINGFIELD TN location!

RICKEY BI rated the business highly as they had nothing to do with my issues. Uhaul changed my rental multiple times-both pickup and drop off locations without discussing in advance. Drop off location required a code I was never given, thank heavens they answered their phone after hours. Overall it was a huge headache and I will use another service next time. Again, this is a reflection of uhaul and not the rental locations themselves.

jamie cHe needs to go over the full "contract" about the fuel. I turned the keys in and was almost charged an extra $20 because of his failure to inform me of a new "policy". The truck was picked up with 1/8 tank of gas, i almost ran out before getting to the gas station and inside the back of the truck was dirty upon reciept.

Sam BThere weren't any major issues with this location, my issue is with Uhaul. The truck that I reserved in advance, because it met the needs that I had, was "upgraded" to a larger truck without my consent. The large truck was not only much bigger than I wanted, half of it was left empty for a 650 mile snowy drive, and it also cost me approx $100 extra in fuel. It also put me 24 hours behind schedule as I tried to find another truck in the area. Uhaul did not offer any discount on anything. With my business, I rent trucks from Uhaul at least 3-6 times a year. This is not the first time that you did not provide me with the truck I reserved, but it is the first time that your mistake made me incur expenses outside of my planned budget. I will not be using Uhaul any longer. The lack of help on this matter was completely unexceptable, and if it were my business I would have handled the situation with much more grace.

JIM KReserved truck one month early very near home to be moved. Verified 3 days before pickup. Day of rental, upon my arrival, despite a truck sitting there, I was sent 10 miles away for no reason that was ever explained. Found agent beating tires with a rod in order to verify "they have enough air in them". Poorly organized and had difficulty completing documents. Despite having my driver's license and credit card, needed the name and address of a local resident that knew me (???). Couldn't identify my scheduled drop-off site despite it having been there for decades. This agent really needs his certification pulled.
