Overall, my experience was pretty good. The person who helped me on the front end was great and very personable. On the back end when returning the trailer, there was an equipment drop off area, so I had to unhook the trailer myself, which was not a huge deal, and then the person who was on duty when I checked out was a little grumpy. Maybe he was having a bad day- didn't seem too friendly. Thusly, above average but not excellent rating.

It didn't seem like the attendant wanted to talk to us. Granted we were looking for the self-serve portal, but he didn't even say hi to us as we passed him going in front of the entrance.

The trailer I picked up was extremely dirty (on the outside only thankfully), but in fine working order otherwise.

The sign said park and wait for the attendant. after waiting about 8 minutes I went to find someone. the guy said that's the sign uhaul gave them and you're just suppose to park and drop the key in the box. WTF how are customers to know this info???? Change the sign

I got charged for a dirty truck even though it had stains on the seat before I obtained it. I have proof and pictures and still got charged an extra 30 dollars for cleaning. Also to mention I drove the truck less than 6 miles just to pick up a dresser that took less than 45 min. Still got charged for cleaning. DO NOT USE THIS U HAUL!! YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED!!!

Too many people were scheduled for pick up at the same time, forcing us to wait almost an hour past our time. Consider adding limits to how many folks can schedule at a given time.

The Boulder CO location I reserved the vehicle from informed 1.5 days prior to my scheduled pick up that they no longer had the vehicle available and I would have to pick up a similar vehicle from another location (Willow Run Feed and Supply in Broomfield CO). When I arrived at the new location, I waited on line for over an hour to pick up the vehicle. There was only 1 person working there. The vehicle had a violent shimmy whenever I went faster than 55mph. These issues made a long day much longer.

The self checkin bar code required about 10 tries to get it to work. I had to take about 5 pictures of my face to have one accepted. I had to submit more pictures of my drivers license even though I already did that four times previously. The self checkin idea is great, but it is very frustrating. When I returned the truck, there were two other people who could not checkin because the bar code pictures were not being accepted. One person said he had given up.

The auto transport was covered in mud, oil, and muck. If I had thought of it, I would have taken it to a car wash to clean it before attempting to load the vehicle.

The trailer was dirty on the outside but that is to be expected. It just snowed and there was no expectation for me to return it any cleaner than I received it, so no big deal.

The truck was not cleaned and had several issues, cracked window, several scratches, low tire pressure. The person checking me out was very un professional. I had to clean all windows, mirrors and headlights/taillights before traveling across country. Not at all pleasant experience

U-haul proved to be a careless corporation when they switched the pick up location of my truck last minute and failed to notify me. Their customer service was u responsive then utterly careless. I plan to never use U-Haul again when there are other businesses ready to treat me like they care for my satisfaction.

The person checking out the equipment at pickup was nice and efficient but told me that I could document the current damage by downloading pictures on my contract when I received it by email. Of course there is no place to download a picture on the emailed contract. And When the note came to my phone it was not obvious that is was from Uhaul and I did not open it until the next day - by then it said it had expired. The phone message comes in titled as 842-85 which looks like spam to me. I recommend that the message you send Has the word UHaul as the first word so it will be obvious. And have the attendant tell the customer to look for a text message. I was told about the email but not about a text. Neil

The ABS light came on in the truck shortly after leaving the lot and proceeded to go on and off intermittently. The check engine light came on going down the interstate on my way back. The truck was about 4/10 clean on the inside, still water bottles and dirt from the previous renter. I did not receive the walk-around to check lights etc. before my departure from the lot.The Uhaul associate my drop off day (Saturday) at this location was rude and not very helpful, it seemed he was burdened with every customer. Myself and multiple other people were there at 9a for pickup only to learn that the location does not open until 10a. Not a second sooner even though the grumpy associate was present before the set opening time. Why we were allowed to reserve equipment before the opening time is terrible, it is not that difficult to set a time in a computer and not allow people to reserve equipment before or after that time. The whole pre-registration thing is BS. How is it contactless if I still have to wait in line and deal with an associate for 15mins, uhaul already has all my info.

Was able to just peek into the office with others there and explain we were dropping off. He told us what to do and he'd check it in later. Very helpful as we were in a hurry. I came back to office to pop my head in to relay the information about the bald tire and the guy took my information and said he'd inspect as he checked it in.

I really loved renting from Anthony. He was very helpful, pleasant, and just a great guy. Please let him know how much I appreciated his help. Willow Run U-Haul is the only place in the Denver area I would rent from. It is definitely worth the drive out to Broomfield.

The description of where the truck number can be found is a bit confusing on the app. I thought if I clicked the “i” I would get a better description or diagram. Unfortunately, it just changed the truck number and defeated the purpose of using the app and made it so the prep work was pointless.

The check in process took a very long time for everyone. There was only one person on site doing anything on a Saturday, I waited for over an hour and was the third person in line when I got there. There was a long line of people behind me when I left so I am sure they waited just as long or longer. This location needs at least one more person to help with check in

Had a 730 appointment. Got there and checked in and it said my order had changed to hand delivery and to come back at 10AM. Came back at 10, had 4 people ahead of me to pickup and the guy was super rude. Called uhaul, but 35 minute wait time. Went online to look at reservation, it had expired. Used Chat Now feature and finally got a person who reinstated my delivery and then I was able to do mobile pickup at 1040 finally. My movers that I hired based on Uhauls referral were scheduled from 830 to 1030. I had to cancel and try to get them later in the day and haven't heard back from them all day since so I moved everything on my own. I had already paid them and I hope they'll refund me due to Uhauls inability to get me a truck in a timely fashion. Very disappointing experience and customer service.

I have rented trucks three times. The first time it was dirty by the previous renter, but I had to clean it up. They left moving blankets and a dolly that I did not ordered. The second time, the truck was loaded with mud everywhere in the back and the driver's seat. On top of that, the previous renter left five (5) large blue tarps that I had to dispose of and paid $15 with my waste services entity. The third time and it will be the last time, I picked up the truck and went to Public Storage so I could be done within the 6 hours I requested. On the back of the 15ft truck, I don't know if it was the previous renter or the staff at Willow Run, they left a refrigerator dolly; an orange heavy duty dolly, five or more grayish moving blankets and a flat dolly to carry heavy items. I did not order any of these items but it made it very difficult for me to pick up my moving boxes from Public Storage because more than 5 ft was utilized for heavy duty equipment that I never ordered. The end of my rental was 3:00p; and I thought it was 3:30p; well, I could not bring it back by either time because, thanks to equipment I did not order, my 15ft truck turned into a 10ft truck and it took me longer to empty a 10x20 storage unit. There is no one there to speak to. No matter at what time you show up. I came in at 8:50a; struggled with the mobile check in system; had to wait for approval another 10 minutes and couldn't read the odometer when I turned it in because, once again, NOBODY IS EVER THERE to assist me. Someone named Anthony called my iPhone when I was struggling back and forth with a truck filled with heavy duty equipment occupying valuable space for me to do my job. I will need a truck next month, but I pray and hope, this location will not pop up for me to rent a truck from them because they are not worth my hard earned money to pay for mediocrity and lack of customer service. Coronavirus or not, if you leave a phone number for your customers to check out if they have problems, ANSWER THE PHONE so we can be educated on how to take care of things when we are on our own returning U-Haul rental trucks loaded with expensive stuff that I never ever needed because I had my own.

The vehicle was maintained but thw AC only worked intermittently. The truck was very dirty ... bugs, dirt and trash left in the back. The location was fine but I knew the Uhaul manager and all tr he other employees who deal with Uhaul would be on vacation and no one would be there to assist me. That said, Uhaul (on line) still sent me to that location to pick up the truck. When I got to the location there was a trailer attached to my truck that i did not order. I was also.unable to get the keys because I'm assuming it had just been dropped off. The on line system did not provide a code to access the key for the truck - extremely frustrating! Also the on line system only provided locations that were at least 20 miles away. When I looked I found a couple that were only minutes away. Why try to send me so far after a long trip and unloading?

Dolly did not have a cable tie on it when I picked it up so I was charged $7 for use of the dolly. I was charged a $15 cleaning fee which imply's I left the vehicle dirty, which is not true. I have been renting equipment from u-haul for 30 years. This is the first time I have ever had extra charges added to my bill. On another note...I rented the vehicle to haul a crate that was 6' 7" tall. Before renting the vehicle I took measurements and rented the truck I thought would work for the job. When I approached the door to load the crate, I realized it wasn't going to fit. Even though the truck dimensions state 7' 2" the door opening was only 6' 4". After realizing this I would have had to rent a 26" truck in order to fit my crate. I had to remove the piece of machinery from the crate in order to use the equipment I rented.
