Drop off location had nobody there shortly after 5pm. Did the self checkout and system kept locking up on photo uploads. Called 800 number and was told I'm checked in. Still no receipt tell me contract is complete

I had to wait on hold to speak with a representative to manually let me go through the return process.

John GGood morning. Well I got to say I have used Uhaul for years and this was the worst experience ever. One, the place I was told to pick up my truck, Willow Run Feed and Supply no one there even though the hours on the door said 10 to 4 on Saturdays. So we had to call and do it mobile which was never told to me when I registered for my truck two weeks in advance. Then I had to purchase a larger truck than what I requested. I guess at that point I was willing to pay a bit extra. But when I saw my bill being around $163 I was totally shocked. 25 dollars for the truck not being clean...really with it having the remaining snow from the previous day melting and it on a all dirt lot. 25 for after hours use...that totally is uncalled for...one couldn't even get the truck on time...and not even the size I reserved. Needless to say I will most likely never use Uhaul again. I would really appreciate anything you can do to return some of these fees that were out of my control. I can be reached at 720.427.4374. THOMAS RLousy customer service. The guy was grumpy and unwilling to help. I also was slapped with an insurance fee although I had declined it at booking. What did the guy do about it? Nothing because he didn't think it was his problem.
STEFAN PFirst, the QR was not working, it kicked me out. I have pictures of the miles and put gas in more than the halfway line. I'm not sure why he is trying to charge me $20 for after hour return, I dropped off the truck at 7pm. It shows an extra $10, not sure for what!
KATHLEEN GMore staff at the location especially on the weekends. Also need to make the rental lot less muddy and put more gravel in or pave it.

SHARON BWe have 20 ft U-Haul truck and a car Porter trailer and we got eight miles to a gallon we spent $1,000 just on gas I will not recommend anyone to get a 20-footer truck from U-Haul you'll be better off hiring professional movers just my opinion after a 1400 mile trip from Colorado to Ohio

Kenneth DPaid 3 times the amount I was quoted on the website. When I brought this up, associate talked to me like I was the idiot for not know I would pay 3 times the amount I was quoted. I was informed this does not happen at bigger chains. Will not use this locations service again and will actively warn other on social media and Google services.

MARK GSuper easy to get to! We did everything from the app since we were renting on a Sunday and outside of business hours. The photos in the app were extra helpful in getting the truck and returning the truck. The only note we had, the door to the back was sticky and hard to start opening and hard to close.

Anna ZYour app did not work well, very slow to load and use. Only 2 bar of service. When there the person would not physically do the rental, required me to use app. Upon check in after hours had to leave a message because of app and connection speed. Would use U-Haul again but different location.

DANIEL VWe chose to do self serve since it was a Sunday, but I did not enjoy the experience overall. The app is slow and crashed multiple times. We missed the fact that there was so little gas in the truck, so almost ran out. Then my husband filled up the truck for $90 and then were told we could not get reimbursed since we were just supposed to fill it up to where it was when we got it. Like I said, we chose self serve since we needed truck on a Sunday, but I was not happy with the experience at all…and would appreciate reimbursement for the extra gas. I have receipt and truck was returned with a full tank.

I was told that if I took the truck back the following day by 10:30 am that I wouldn't get charged? I don't know if the time change had anything to do with the charge I received or not?

ROBBIN LThe person working acted as if he was doing me a favor by allowing me to give him my business. There was a large sign taped on the "welcome" desk that said they aren't required to rent to anyone. That's fine and I get that, but it's tacky to post. But to then to also get told that I need to make sure that I do everything on the app before I show up before he even opens my order? I had done everything possible online before I got there (uploaded ID, checked in, everything). I then showed up an hour early to return my rental (during business hours mind you) and found a locked door with a sign that said to call for service. Sure there were signs where I parked that said that I could check the vehicle in online, but if I show up during business hours and want an in person check in I should get it. I told the individual over the phone that I thought it would be easier to finish up in person since it was during business hours and because this way I would know it was done. He grunted and came to unlock the door and said "let me put it another way, you can check it in on the app and drop the key in the box because otherwise I'll forget and lose the key." So this person's laziness and irresponsibility is my issue?? Large, older man in his 60s, and missing teeth. If he is an employee, I suggest some serious customer service training and performance management. If he is the owner, I suggest he retire or that UHAUL sever ties with this business.
Marco LI got charged $15 for cleaning out the Uhaul. All I did was leave the furniture pads that I had rented in the back.

JUNIPER W1st truck was awful, shook so much while driving that I was pulled over by the police. They had roadside. Come out to inspect the vehicle and make any repairs. If necessary and roadside proceeded to tell me that this is a super common issue that there's nothing they could do. This vehicle wouldn't go over forty five miles an hour, but they expect people to drive across the country in it? Second truck was better, but I was experiencing hardship with an eviction and loss of job, and these guys decided to report it stolen on the 5th day when I had a friend in a similar situation, At the same time, this was going on with a 2 week late. Rental That did not get reported, and they didn't get late fees.
Nicholas VThe van was dirty, no trash or such, just layers of dirt/dust. There was no mention in the rental experience that the location was closed on Sunday's and that I need to install the app. That wasted 1/2 hour of time. I also didn't like the hard press on buying additional insurance.
William MMake sure correct locks are on lock boxes. I was unable to retrieve the key to my original reservation and since the location was closed, I had to call customer service to be able to get a truck.

Then apon returning it was even more unclear!! Asked a cranky old man for help and all he did was bitch and bitch. I will avoid this location at all costs!!!!

Andrew MExtremely dirty place really bad cat litter box smells . Horrible place and to think I paid as much as I did to deal with a dirty nasty place like this . As well the brake rotors on the van I got were warped and had a bake pulsation .
James DI found the whole process too complicated and slow. It took over 20mins to figure everything out and go through all the steps - photos, documents, back and forth between the car and the lockbox, trying to undo the lock, trying to check van photos that were so small I could not see if there was actually any damage, a location feature that didn't work despite multiple attempts...really quite terrible.
Simon GFirst, the customer service representative was very rude, and somewhat angry in his demeanor. Secondly, The truck cab was not clean; the steering wheel felt sticky and grimy. In addition, the brakes felt very soft and it took a lot of force to manage the highway traffic through Denver. Finally, and this is more a problem with your phone app, it was not obvious anywhere that the rental was limited to 24 hours. We had to completely change our plans in order to avoid doubling the rental fee. You should allow your customers to select date and time of both pickup and drop offs.
