The fuel tank was supposed to be full, but it wasn't really. I could see when I refilled the tank that I was shortchanged by $5-10.

Winchesters Towing rented me a U-Haul that barely made it to my destination. After I returned it, I called to ask why my mileage was recorded wrong, and the guy just kept cutting me off telling me to call 1-800-go-U-Haul. Like he couldn’t tell me why his location recorded the mileage wrong, he just kept cutting me off that “they don’t deal with all that right there”. When I told him he wasn’t listening to me, he took great offense to being told this and was more concerned at hanging up every time I called. Abysmal customer service, unsafe U-Haul, and scammers. We had two reservations from U-Haul affiliates and they were both trash. The one described is the first one, and the second one I took an Uber clear across the city just to find no one was even at the business. Shame on uhaul, I can’t understand how a company is okay doing business like this, clearly your affiliates feel this is passive income for them and don’t have any intent on providing even bottom-tier customer service. This is peoples lives and money they deal with when it comes to moving, yet yall think sending people all over town to deal with shady businesses renting out your trucks wasting everyone’s time is how to do it. Fuck you uhaul, I’m glad your competition has finally beefed up around here so we don’t ever have to deal the worst run self moving company again.

I had my appointment booked with an over the phone agent who knew that we were going to return the truck at a different location. She even had ME look up and spell the location for drop off MULTIPLE times I was basically cursed out by them because I didn’t know the company vernacular for “in town” rentals I was in the same “town” so anyone who has 1/2 a Brain would think as I did that if an over the phone agent booked me a reservation, it would go smoothly. Apparently having 1/2 a brain is about the best the entire location can muster. My mother in law had died and we were moving some of her belongings to storage. They turned the grieving process into the WORST experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. I would recommend drunk college kids over this location

They did not have the dolly I reserved, had to drive across town to another location to get the dolly. There were bed rails from previous customer left on the truck.

These guys make is so easy and pleasant to rent from. This was my 2nd time renting from them and they will always be my #1 choice. They had what I needed and it took 5 minutes to pick up and drop off. Can't get better than that.

Turned the trailer in on Sunday, May 18th. They would not show the trailer checked in until I contacted U-Haul on Wednesday., May 21st. Spoke to the towing company twice and U-Haul once.

The gentleman that helped us with the return was so nice! He assisted with removing the trailer from our truck and also gave us advice/suggestions on the area since we were relocating our son for a job! I was very impressed.

That location, towing company on Big Run os awesome. They are so gracious and funny. Moving day is stressful and the boxes are heavy, they really made the experience a lot better.

I was dropping the trailer off and it was on Sunday at 9:00 PM. An employee happen to be there and was very helpful when he didn't have to be. This is the type of employee that stands out in today's world. I was greatly appreciative and impressed.

I use contactless check-in and return for a reason. I’m not looking to be grilled by some random guy standing outside the location on if I refilled the gas, etc. I don’t know who he is. Please have the people running your locations respect the contactless system. This location also had terrible street parking. It’s difficult to basically have to parallel park a 26’ truck.

The truck I drove was hard to drive. Steering was a problem. I had to constantly turn the steering wheel to stay in my lane. The truck would veer off gradually to one side or the other.

1-800-UHAUL customer service failed to ensure pick up location would be Open . I had tro stand in the rain and snow for over 2 hours to wait for owner to come open business. Local pick up office added Insurances cost to my reservation, after i had declined it. Local pick up office assured me it was "Corrected" before i left their office. It was NOT. I disputed $98.00 of charges on my credit card to correct the error. UHAUL should reach out to me and correct this..!!!!

Building was locked and CLOSED upon arrival to pick up truck and Trailor. Waited 2 hours in snow and rain to get Uhaul. Was charged for "Insurance" i did not want and had declined. Refund of Insurance charges was assured, but did not happen. I Disputed $98.00 of charges with Credit card company. UHAUL needs to contact me and correct this ASAP..!!! UHAUL stated they would credit me $50.00 for the 2 hour wait outside in the rain and snow. Not seen that credit yet.

The instructions said a key would be waiting for me in a lock box outside the facility for pickup at 8am. I was never given a lockbox combination or information and when I arrived at 8 no one was there and there was no key anywhere to be found. I called multiple times and started a customer service chat to no avail. I finally was able to pick up the key when the employee who was opening the store showed up a little after 9 am. It delayed my move and inconvenienced the people who were helping me by an hour and a half.

First of all, ignoring the customer while they stand at the counter for over ten whole minutes is plain rude. I felt completely invisible - he just ignored my presence while he took a phone call and then did some other tasks on the computer - all while I stood there, not even acknowledged or greeted!!! Then instead of helping me, the gentleman was short and annoyed, like dropping a dolly at my feet rather than helping me load it into the truck, and making excuses for how busy you are and that is why my reservation could not be honored properly, etc. The whole experience was just awful. I have NEVER been treated so poorly - like I was a problem to the guy, rather than a customer. And the truck was all dirty in back, bits of junk and broken toys from the last customer. Last year I had a wonderful experience - this year, I was treated like an annoyance to your business for coming to rent a truck... AWFUL and inexcusable.

Radio didn't work. Drivers seat was damaged and covered with a seat cover which was not fastened down. Could not see the odometer.

Exceptional crew that runs this location in Lexington. Highly recommend the simplicity and diligence of answering questions you may have and a team that are open to making the process of checking in and out a Uhaul with ease. Mahalo 🌺

The location was convenient but the moving pads we ordered were not on-site and they informed us that the location never carries pads. Our question is: Why are you prompted to order and pay for rental pads at a location that doesn't have them?
