We reserved a furniture dolly for this move to Lakeland Florida and it was not in the truck. While trying to confirm the pickup on the U-Haul app, we were delayed an unacceptable amount of time as we tried repeatedly to get my debit card to go through. While we were attempting to get this done, a lady that worked at this location came out, walked by our car and made a rude remark about us sitting there trying to get our $1000 worth of equipment. Totally uncalled for and unacceptable customer service!! No help offered just a snide little remark about us sitting there on our phones trying to solve a problem we didn't ask for! The picture of the truck showing its location was wrong. Once we got the key out of the box, we had to go on a wild goose chase through the parking lot, in the dark, testing the key on every 20 foot truck they had. I half way expected the metro police to show up. Once we got the truck located and completed the pickup, there was no appliance dolly in the back and after several hours trying to resolve this issue on your “customer service” line, we were told a dolly would be available at our drop off location in Lakeland. We were charged, yet again, for a piece of equipment we had already paid for. Unacceptable service yet again by your company. We ended up using my personal dolly to load the truck and left it 150 miles from my home where I will have to drive back to in order to retrieve my dolly. Unacceptable inconvenience placed upon me by a mistake made by U-Haul. When we got about half way to Lakeland we called to confirm the dolly at the drop off location only to be told that location was closed. Another mistake. Another hour on the customer service line and we were assured the dolly would be at a location 4 miles from our drop off but we would have to pick it up, pay for it YET AGAIN, and return it back to the other store. Once again, Unacceptable customer service. I refused to be bopped back and forth like a tether ball by your company! I ended up borrowing a dolly from some lady unloading a trailer beside our storage location. To say the least, I had a horrible experience with this U-Haul move.

The customer service representative I spoke with was very rude and hung up the phone on me. I was asking a question and she started yelling at me over the phone. Then said call if you have damn problem & hung up

I requested a 15 foot truck but she "upgraded" Mr to a 20 foot truck. My sense was that she did that because she needed the 15 footers for in-town rentals. The extra room was nice but the loss of gas mileage was not. I recognize I could have said "no" so I definitely own some of this. When she selected the truck, it was not accessible - a truck blocked its exit. Then she cajnged me to a new truck but the change required three separate calls to u-haul help desk and it still was never really resolved. And of course that took a long time.

I reserved a different location, and got a confirmation that is where I was picking up the truck, and when I arrived to check it out, I was told that they didn't have my reservation. I was not notified that the location had changed, and thus was behind in picking it up on time. Thankfully that did not affect the time it took for me to use the truck, but it was extremely frustrating due to the fact that the new location was further away, and I was being charged for mileage. I would look into using a different company in the future due to my last experience. The location itself that I ended up being at was the only saving grace. They were wonderful. Very frustrating.

I rented a truck at Versailles U Haul for 24 hours. The person that worked with me put down 6 hours so I didn't have a truck to move my daughter in. They told me there was another U Haul in Lexington that had one so I called to confirm and they said they didn't have one. I will never use U Haul again because of the incompetence. Although the place I finally found a truck at was very helpful.

I traveled out of state to purchase myself a truck. I went alone because I knew that if the truck deal went through I could load the vehicle I drove there onto a U-Haul trailer and pull it back home with me behind the new truck. I made the uhaul auto transport reservation which was ‘guaranteed' before I went through with buying the new truck. Knowing I had my reservation I went through with buying the truck. I get to the location that was given to me by U-Haul and not only did the business no longer exist but the guy who was next door had no clue why U-Haul would send me there either. At this point I'm very confused so I start calling other uhaul locations. I'm stressing out because it wasn't until around 6:15pm that I found out my trailer didn't actually exist and every location remotely near me either wouldn't answer or if they did they had no auto transport trailers in stock. This was an extremely stressful situation and I am having very serious doubts about ever renting from U-Haul again. I have spent hundreds of dollars renting trailers from the company this year alone and there's no way I'll ever get back the time and inconvenience that this time around has caused me. Literally every person I got in contact with couldn't help and the automated uhaul line kept me on hold for around 40 minutes and I still never spoke with anyone.
