Turned the trailer in on Sunday, May 18th. They would not show the trailer checked in until I contacted U-Haul on Wednesday., May 21st. Spoke to the towing company twice and U-Haul once.

The gentleman that helped us with the return was so nice! He assisted with removing the trailer from our truck and also gave us advice/suggestions on the area since we were relocating our son for a job! I was very impressed.

John CI was dropping the trailer off and it was on Sunday at 9:00 PM. An employee happen to be there and was very helpful when he didn't have to be. This is the type of employee that stands out in today's world. I was greatly appreciative and impressed.

elisa bI use contactless check-in and return for a reason. I’m not looking to be grilled by some random guy standing outside the location on if I refilled the gas, etc. I don’t know who he is. Please have the people running your locations respect the contactless system. This location also had terrible street parking. It’s difficult to basically have to parallel park a 26’ truck.

STACEY K1-800-UHAUL customer service failed to ensure pick up location would be Open . I had tro stand in the rain and snow for over 2 hours to wait for owner to come open business. Local pick up office added Insurances cost to my reservation, after i had declined it. Local pick up office assured me it was "Corrected" before i left their office. It was NOT. I disputed $98.00 of charges on my credit card to correct the error. UHAUL should reach out to me and correct this..!!!!
Leonard WBuilding was locked and CLOSED upon arrival to pick up truck and Trailor. Waited 2 hours in snow and rain to get Uhaul. Was charged for "Insurance" i did not want and had declined. Refund of Insurance charges was assured, but did not happen. I Disputed $98.00 of charges with Credit card company. UHAUL needs to contact me and correct this ASAP..!!! UHAUL stated they would credit me $50.00 for the 2 hour wait outside in the rain and snow. Not seen that credit yet.

Patricia MThe instructions said a key would be waiting for me in a lock box outside the facility for pickup at 8am. I was never given a lockbox combination or information and when I arrived at 8 no one was there and there was no key anywhere to be found. I called multiple times and started a customer service chat to no avail. I finally was able to pick up the key when the employee who was opening the store showed up a little after 9 am. It delayed my move and inconvenienced the people who were helping me by an hour and a half.
Ashlee HFirst of all, ignoring the customer while they stand at the counter for over ten whole minutes is plain rude. I felt completely invisible - he just ignored my presence while he took a phone call and then did some other tasks on the computer - all while I stood there, not even acknowledged or greeted!!! Then instead of helping me, the gentleman was short and annoyed, like dropping a dolly at my feet rather than helping me load it into the truck, and making excuses for how busy you are and that is why my reservation could not be honored properly, etc. The whole experience was just awful. I have NEVER been treated so poorly - like I was a problem to the guy, rather than a customer. And the truck was all dirty in back, bits of junk and broken toys from the last customer. Last year I had a wonderful experience - this year, I was treated like an annoyance to your business for coming to rent a truck... AWFUL and inexcusable.

Kennedy TRadio didn't work. Drivers seat was damaged and covered with a seat cover which was not fastened down. Could not see the odometer.

Umialiloa HThe location was convenient but the moving pads we ordered were not on-site and they informed us that the location never carries pads. Our question is: Why are you prompted to order and pay for rental pads at a location that doesn't have them?

AARON DWe received our U-Haul truck with 3/4 of a tank of gasoline,. We returned the U-Haul truck with a full tank of gasoline. considering the size of a gas tank and a large vehicle we feel $15-$20 should have been deducted from our bill. Rocco BThe problem was that no one opened the location at 8;00. We came from St Louis to move our daughter and reserved a truck on 8:30/2024. There was a driver who helped and provided us with a key to a truck and the office allowed us extra time. So everything worked out well.
Randall SThe young lady behind the counter wouldn’t look up from her phone to wait on me until I spoke up to another employee to try to get a rental truck. She didn’t know how to use the U-haul database evidently because she couldn’t figure out how to add a dolly to the reservation. Nothing was explained to me and I was never made aware of the policy regarding fuel usage. I used only 4 gallons and had the truck less than 4 hours. I discovered on my final bill that I had been charged $49.00 for 4 gallons of gas. I have rented trucks and pull-behind trailers from U-haul for years, and this has been-by far-my worst experience.
Anthony FThe trailer I was provided had the trailer light attached to the frame and there was no extension. There was no way to make the electrical connection so Im was advised I had to buy an extension for another $25. This was pure nonsense but I had no choice. In addition I dropped the trailer off a few hours early but within the operating hours of BJ's bait and Feed in Freeport Florida. When I got the complete receipt I was charged another $20 for dropping off outside of their business hours!!M The is nonsense and I will not use or recommend UHAUL for any future needs!!

Peter FThe truck was not ready on time. I had to load all the additional rented items myself. Staff tried to sneak extra optional charges onto my bill at checkout. The entire exchange took entirely too long. Despite doing the pre-check-in the counter staff insisted to have all of my information again.
