This location sent me on my way with a 9' Cargo Van which had a Low Tire Pressure Warning for the right rear tire. The waring light was solid the entire tire, and then started blinking non stop while I was traveling on the highway! Upon my personal inspection the tire was visibly fine, no punctures, no smells, and no noises while driving. With illuminated warning lights of any kind within a public rental vehicle that's totally unacceptable! Also, the van was not fully prepared for delivery prior to my arrival. I had to personally remove the cardboard windshield advert just prior to my departure which was cumbersome, not to mention the 9' Cargo Van itself had massive dog odor & dog hair within the entire cabin which engulfed both seats! Also worth noting, when I picked up this 9' Cargo Van the gas tank was just under half a tank? In addition, the receipt that was emailed to me stated that I drove 5+ miles than I actually did, plus I was charged with a supposed extra "mileage charge" which was not advertised anywhere, unlike the standard mileage rate of $0.79 which is upfront.RICHARD S D.

The only issue I have as being in remission from cancer is that the vehicle had strong cigarette odor. I don't think smoking should be allowed in your vehicles for people who rent them that has health issues. I use U Haul quite often. Some trucks are fine, no odor others pretty heavy odor. This is the first time I rented a van.Leann B.

Point of sale clerk was unskilled and confused. Things improved greatly when Owner took control. Training and motivation needed for first clerk. Once someone who knew what was going on took over, it was a "slam-dunk". Everything from that point seemed average and perhaps a little above.Dennis S.

Despite having created an online account, to confirm the reservation, the personnel at this location had no information other than my name, and that I wanted to rent a 15' truck. I had to provide all the other info (mileage, rental period, one-way destination, etc...) to them. They should be able to access that info via the online system that creates your user reservations.TOM Q.

The van I rented had a broken mirror that was unusable, no air conditioning, or it worked when you first turned it on and then died 20 minutes into driving. Had to drive with the windows open and got a massive sunburn (on one half of my body) despite being a new vehicle it had a huge amount of issues. When I picked up the van it took 45 minutes to checkout which screwed up my entire schedule and the schedule of the friend who drove me in. When I returned the van at 4:30 today instead of 9:00 tomorrow the staff were put out that I was "early" And on top of all of this bs, the price was more than $200 more than the price I was quoted when I booked online. And on top of this, I made the identical trip last year, in a box truck towing a trailer, and this cost me more. I was conned on the mileage, and the van used more gas than a box truck towing a trailor? Exactly the same trip. Would not recommend or do business with this uhaul dealer ever again. They are inefficient and dishonest. And they rented me a van with serious safety issues. DisgustedEllen P.

This has nothing to do with this location but uhaul in general sucks. I booked a 6x12 trailer on june 4 to pick up on june 28, I was called at 530 on june 27 and told they had none available. An hour later I was called and told that the ckosest one was over 2 hours away and then I had to go pick it up. I had to drive 5 hours round trip and 236 miles just to pick up the trailer and was not offered any discount. Again this has nothing to do with this location but with uhaul in general I would not recommend this company to anyone. Horrible serviceBRIAN H.
The driver's side door was missing a bolt and was falling off, the A/C did not work and it was 96 out when I moved which made me furious, the truck was at 1/4 a tank of gas, even though I signed a statement I would refuel it or be charged. Overall a great place to rent from, but damn Uhaul.....really. Also in had to Agee to accept water damage because there was aluminum tape on the truck, and of course it rained and my Tempurpedic got wet.kate T.

We rented a 14' moving truck on a recent Saturday. Front desk attendant was very cheerful and easy to work with. Truck was clean and in good repair. Had a great experience and would definitely use this location again.sue D.

Started at the Tilton office - rude crude and obnoxious. Although she did work hard to find the correct pick up location, would never use or recommend Tilton. only issue: made the reservation by phone, using the Tilton office number - was not told that my pickup would be at the Winnisquam office until i went to pick up at Tilton; it took over 1/2 hour for them to find my reservation and re-direct me. (they were very helpful in that) Customers should be advised of pick up location at the time of reservation!Susan B.

Re-hire the man who helped us. It was his last day before retirement, and he was fantastic. In spite of the computer network problems, he patiently stayed past the end of his shift to help us when we desperately needed a truck. Pay him double what you used to.Steven R.
