Absolutely not user friendly to pick up a UHAUL first timeâ€¦ no internet device at the store. Many lost online line connections to even rent it!!! So dissatisfied and frustrated.Sophia P.

This experience was OK. Here is the problem: I live in Roberts, WI, I thought I reserved a truck in Hudson, WI (which is about 10 miles away) as 2 or 3 locations popped up, and we were moving things to Eau Claire. Two days before my pickup date, a representative called me that no trucks were available in Hudson, but there was one in Arcadia - which is 103 miles away! And Eau Claire is between Roberts and Arcadia. So drive 206 miles just to get the truck, then another 62 miles to Eau Claire? I was then told there was a truck in Plymouth, MN which is 53 miles the other way and across the Twin Cities and during rush hour. Finally was told that there was a truck in Menomonie, 36 miles from my house. OK, fine, so 36 miles to Menomonie, then 36 miles back to Roberts, then to Eau Claire. As we were dropping off the truck, we were charged an extra $10 because we were "over mileage" as somehow UHaul assumed we were moving from Menomonie to Eau Claire and calculated mileage from the pick-up place! Um, really? Maybe in the check-in process ask for a little more detail on where this truck is going? Also have representatives that can use Google Maps so they know where Roberts is and not try to send me to Arcadia to pick up a truck - what kind of overage would there have been in that case??. There was no problem with this drop-off location.Michael K.

The problem was not the location but the fact that the app wasn't working and nobody was there to help me. It is not a knock on the location. The U-Haul experience was awful. There was no reason for it because the main U-Haul store was only 1.3 miles away. You need to ask about the remote checkout process. It's terrible and I stood in a rainstorm for 35-40 minutesMike E.

4th time we've used Uhaul and no problem with truck usage, pads or turn dolly. Except this time. Anything is need to be more constant once an order is put in. That the Uhaul truck and everything with it is at the location scheduled. This time was bad. It got changed 3 times to a different locationDebra A B.

ALL your locations, including this one, over estimate the amount of fuel in the tank at checkout. In this case, they checked me out with 1/4 tank, but the tank read exactly between 1/8 and 1/4. I took a photo because I didn't have time to go back inside and have the checkout redone, as I've done the last three times. When I returned the truck, the original checkout person was out to lunch and the other guy didn't seem to know what he was doing. I didn't have time to figure it out.Theresa K.

While it was not the fault of the Drop-off Location personnel, I dropped off the 15 ft. rental, say 2PM on Sunday & Woodford's was not open. I tried diligently to complete the mobile(cellphone) check-in, but attempted it some 12-15 times. It could not locate me at that address. I finally gave up as a disaster. That app stinks! I was ready to throw my cellphone in absolute total frustration. Sorry, but that's the truth. I called Woodford's on Monday morning & Dave Woodford said that he'd be more than willing to take care of the check-in details. I'd say he went above & beyond to help me out as I had to be at work to do my job. His effort(s) were greatly appreciated & I also wanted to avoid the $20.00 fee for having the Drop-Off staff complete that task.Kevin B.

The truck was disgusting. I couldnt touch anything that wasnt sticky. The dash looked like it had weeks of dirt and grime on it. Went to fold down the cup holder and it looked like someone dumped out coffee or a dark soda and left it. Same with the fold down arm rest. The windshield was hard to see through. Looked like someone had a large dog in there licking the glassChris T.
Have the uhaul available at the location the customer requested. Also make sure the place you have the customer pickup the rental is actually open on the day and at the time rental is requested. Calling a day or 2 to confirm would be great!!! As we originally requested pickup in Menomonie and were told a few hours before pickup we had to go to eau claire to pickup at a location yhat wasn't open. We then ended going and working with the helpful folks at Woodford Auto repair. They were great!John W.

I place an order for the truck over a week ago. When I went to pick up the truck the dolly/ furniture dolly and furniture pads where not in the truck.. I had to pay someone else to help me with the heavy lifting since I didn't get my dollys I ordered. I reserved over a week from when I needed the truck to make sure I had everything I would possibly need.Edwin S.

There just happen to be a person who worked at this location leaving when we dropped the truck off. There was no where to park the truck except on the road. This person said that if we couldn't get the return completed online, he would check it in on Monday. I did not want to have to pay extra to get the truck returned.Thomas G.

A week after I dropped off the uhaul at this location, I was called by a uhaul personnel and was told that they can not find the uhaul and if I still have it or if I even dropped it off. I was extremely annoyed by the incompetence that I had to call the place I dropped it off to confirm that it was there. This took extra time and effort to try and figure out uhaul's mistake and misplacement.Emily K.
The man that helped me out was great! Unfortunately, the trailer had no power to them so I traveled from Anoka MN to Menomonie WI without any trailer lights.It was a very nerve wrecking experience and I think it's a maintenance issue that needs to be addressed. I called UHaul International to reserve my trailer. The woman barely spoke English. She told me I could pick up my trailer in Eau Claire, but when I received the email notice, she had me picking up the trailer in Aitikoken, Ontario, Canada. I had to talk to four different people to get this straightened out. The manager at Woodfords was very helpful, but your overall service was lousy.fred P.

The pickup was smooth. The problem is your 800 number agents!! Every single email and text was WRONG and I had to call multiple times for date/time /location corrections-and then the â€œnew revisedâ€ emails and texts were STILL WRONG!! Fortunately the on site guy said that this is common and don't worryelizabeth K.
