Victor Ru haul has to tell customers that this location does not have 24 hour service. I was told that it does. When I went to return the truck at night, they did not allow me to leave it on site. They told me that it was private property.
JOSEEMMANUEL PThe agent was very nice, but the truck was terrible! Oil stains all over the inside cabin and it smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. Luckily, I took photos/video before leaving, as the drop off location said they would have to scrap the inside. The engine was shot also. I'm glad I was able to make it to my destination safely.
Bradley HWindshield fluid was leaking out . Fix it myself. The vehicle was very dirty and insanitary . The u haul representative told me that he was too busy to clean it . So I did it myself and when I return return the vehicle they charge me $25 for cleaning fee. Besides the horrible service they over charged. You can find cheaper rentals elsewhere.

Desmond LI was charged an additional day. The charge has been disputed. I requested 4 hours and was not aware it was changed to 2.5 hours instead. This is not the way to conduct business.
Amber LI wasn't informed enough with my rental options via the app. I didn't know that I could have rented the truck for 24 hours via the $19 discount that's printed on the truck until after I made my reservation. I ended up renting per mile which caused me havoc with a truck trying to get thru NYC with all of the truck laws. I would have definitely took the 24hr option had I clearly understood that as an option via the app.

Rohit RI was given a dirty van with the tire pressure light on but I overlooked it. I returned the van early and two days later I received a email saying the van was not returned. Called the location and was told the guy was busy and will close it out and it was an auto generated message to ignore it. Then I received a receipt for over triple the price with the mileage used incorrect. I used 4 miles and was charged for 44 miles. I used the van from 12:16-1:50. I had it reserved for 4 hours. Now I’m filing a claim to get this all corrected. Also the manager who is clearly overworked and who seemed nice at first completely changed his tune and tried to insinuate that I was lying about the miles I used. He said “ people do it all the time”. I live in the neighborhood and I have a car. I don’t need to lie or steal. I just needed a van to move something local. His comment was not called for at all! Hopefully U-Haul will make this right. And going forward I will rent from any other location but this one.

Rahul KIf you dont get your vehicle back by 5:00 pm, the location for dropping off the vehicle is a little out of the way. However, I was able to returned my before 5:00 pm to the main office, so I didn't have to experience that type of uneasiness about the dropping off the vehicle.
