The individual we picked the vehicle up from was unclear on how the software worked how the checkout procedure was supposed to go and kept getting the information wrong in the pricing information wrong. Luckily I had called the main Center and got it all set up ahead of time.

This location was great as was their staff. U haul called the day before our move and they did not have the truck we reserved at location that we needed. We would have had to drive an extra hour each way to get the size of truck we needed ?? When I asked to have it brought to our location they said they could not do that. Very disappointing and inconvenient.

I mentioned to the Gal who took my reservation I was picking up a scooter and needed a ramp. I arrived at the location to pick up the truck and told the man behind the counter the same thing and showed him a picture of it and asked so you think the wheel span on the front (2 wheels one in back) will fit on the ramp? He said Oh sure it will no problem. I arrived to pick up the scooter at 4pm Fri. Guess what? NO RAMP! I was very unhappy trying to figure out how I was going to get the scooter in the truck NOW that I already had it and was there...too late to go back. Thankfully I bought it from a Motorcycle shop and they had a ramp to load it up. Ok get it home then what? Back the truck up to a hill and unload it? I was so angry and the U-Haul location was closed that I sat down and cried. This should of been a good time buying a new toy not misery just because other people do not know what they are doing. Customer service at your Wood Village location was unacceptable and inappropriate. The man was clearly upset hated this hated that hated UHaul hated his job hated the computer...I knew this because he told me several times...sheesh, So all in alI would give this location a MINUS 8. I would give the reservation woman a Minus 2 just because she had noidea what she was doing...Oh and she spelled my last name wrong...she didn't ask. So when I arrived to pick up the truck I was told it was not available and was the only truck they had. After asking him several times can you look at the first name of that reservation he told me oh it's way over on another screen I would have to get to it...sigh...of course then he locked up the computer while trying to swipe my card I heard him say 3 times...arg. He then said he was sick of this and he was done and called him DM who talked to me on the phone and was able to finalize everything. Life should never be this complicated. It also put me at the motorcycle shop late since there was horrible traffic in my Uhaul with no friggin ramp!! I also put too much gas back in the truck before I returned it. Not only will I never rent haul ever again I will ask my friends who have had issues with the company to place a complaint wherever they need to until UHaul gets it together.

took us one hour to get a uhaul, there were issues in signing us up and the lady could have made better decisions to get it done faster for us.

The employee at the location was late and was indicated to have been late previously/frequently by another customer that was also waiting. The employee on staff also seemed to lack training on how to handle order entry within your billing system and had to call and have someone else do the work for her. My rented truck did not have the correct dolly in it and we had to wait additional time for the floor coverings to be provided when it was in the reservation. My last issue may not be an issue at all, but we were not provided a padlock to lock the truck as I have always had one provided in years past.

It seemed like I had to complete the transaction twice when I picked up- Perhaps making the overall network more smooth/connected so the franchise doesn't have to type everything in as though I have not already done it when I reserved the truck online. I suspect this is not the fault of the site, but of the UHaul online system. They were polite and friendly.
