Asked to pick up vehicle at Jake's body shop. Was sent to another facility extending my mileage by 24 miles. Then, despite knowing where I was going and returning, I was charged for 15 miles over. Not good. Foul. Your fault, my penalty. I have a lot of moving to do. Ryder for me from now on.

Attendant was curt and not terribly pleasant or easy to understand. Wasn't comfortable there. It was clean, and he did come around at the end, but, first impression was not good. Foreign management, perhaps a cultural thing.

Add information to the online ordering process that describes this as an unattended and drop off point, but not a full service location. Called the local number, response was “this is a gas station, not a uhaul drop point.” Realized it was unattended and followed instructions online. Again, would have been helpful to know this is a remote/unstaffed location.

The online return procedure was an absolute joke. The app was not working (on multiple phones and devices). When calling the 1-800 number for help, I was on hold for an hour, only to never receive help. Luckily, the app eventually starting working. Once the checkout system was completed, I was kicked out of the app without instructions on how to return the keys. We searched the building and found a Dropbox. Hopefully that's where the keys were supposed to go. After dealing with that for an hour (with a toddler waiting in my car!), I don't think I'll ever use U-Haul again, unfortunately. What could be a simple, user friendly service just didn't hit the mark. If the entire system was improved, or if the pricing was lowered to meet the service quality, I'd consider continuing to use it. Otherwise, I'm just highly disappointed that I spent over $100 for this frustration.

When we went to pick up the truck it wasn't there we were given the runaround and a bill for one truck with the truck number marked out with the truck they gave us written on it and then emailed another truck information so when I returned it it was a total nightmare. I had no idea what was the true mileage of the truck it was a true start gas

Have the equipment that was scheduled actually be available for scheduled pick up. I was sent picture for pre-inspection for a totally different truck, at a different location. When truck FINALLY arrived, the front of truck was completely covered in bugs. Understandably, the agent didn't have time to clean it because I had already been waiting 3 hours for the truck to arrive. I asked for a discount, and was given a whopping $10 off. I appreciate Uhaul's low prices, but am going to do a lot more research on the agentt before renting again.

Sorry but when you leave a sugary drink residue inside the trailer and it attracts ants for your customer and then do nothing but charge full price thats crappy. Been a long time customer but if you're not going to do anything to help with my issues then I will no longer use uhaul.

The only issue was I was needing the box truck for around 8 hours but was only able to have it for 6 even though I reserved it for 8. Have to make many more trips in a friends truck to pick up the rest.

When I arrived the equipment is scattered and not organized at this location to drop off, also myself and another customer had to wait to return our equipment because the person working didn't know how to check in equipment so we had to wait for the manager to show up to do it.

Trailer tongues could not be raised without a jack. Uhaul should consider an attached jack to make hooking and unhooking the trailers a lot more user friendly.

lower the mileage rate. it is a killer. Budget only charges $ 0.55 per mile.

I paid the $100 originally, and was charged $150 the next day when my receipt says it was only suppose to be $65. So all together I should have paid $165, but I paid $150.

There was no spot to park the U-haul and tow dolly then an unidentified gentleman (the store clerk?) told me I couldn't park the U-haul where I had parked it. Since there were no available spots to park the truck and tow dolly, I did the best I could to make sure it was not blocking traffic. I'd never rent or return something to this location though.

We tried to return the truck and the usual part had closed. So we returned the next night and again we could not have helped it. Our work hours were longer than u hauls hours at this location and our son couldn't return it as he had no ride to pick him up. So as my husband pulls the truck in...the worker was sitting out front on a bench vaping and talking with her friends...while I was pumping gas at this location....stating " I don't know why he is trying to return it....he was told last night the hours ...we are not gonna close it" while I spent money at their gas station I continued to hear her speak wrong of usninfeelnas customers and there was another gentleman getting gas as well. As my husband was checking the truck and getting the blankets...the staff member continued to talk about us to her friends. When my spouse and I both walked towards the front door to talk with the other very helpful lady...i did confront the girl out front. I asked her why she felt it necessary to speak about customers that are helping to pay her paycheck. She tried denying she said anything until I said I heard her while I pumped gas. She said all she said was we couldn't close the account tonight...we understood that...we just needed to get the truck parked at the location. Even if we were charged a late fee. That is just what worked for us. But the young girl continued to he rude as i explained to her that she was being rude by talking about us theynway she was. we wish we would not have filled both uhaul trucks, at that location, which is where we returned them to. They should not represent uhaul if they cannot have a little bit better hours and better personnel.

I was disappointed in the location, the help and the 1-800 UHaul members. They were not helpful and quite frankly, were rude. I will consider alternatives to my rental needs going forward which is a shame because I USED TO BE a loyal customer.

The unit I used had a frame support bolt sheared off and a second one cracked. The unit held up okay but I was constantly afraid that it would completely shear the others off. Also this was not the location I contracted with. I ended up going 38 miles round trip out of my way to pickup and drop off the unit twice. My gasoline

We originally reserved a U-Haul to be picked up at this U-Haul location located about a mile away from us. We were notified two days before pick-up that they would not have the truck available at that location. Apparently, this site, unlike others, does not send anyone to pick up a truck that a customer has reserved over a week ago to assure that the reservation is met. We have to drive about 30 miles away to pick up our truck, which was an inconvenience. With the help of Mike, we were allowed to drop off our truck at this site, which was nice after a long drive and unloading. The return process was great as we were met outside as we drove up. There were several trucks at this location at this time. When I mentioned that we had to drive 30 miles away to pick up our truck, I was told that “this is why we recommend a reservation.” When I responded that we had a reservation, I received a shrug. This site is convenient for us and the worker was very friendly, but...

The truck was clean. The engine had some issues My reservation was canceled despite being there on time to pick up the van and calling to confirm the day before. It took a long time to figure that out.

When I returned the truck, there were two people inside the return place. I asked what I needed to do to check the truck back in and was told to put the key in the box outside. I asked about help with the online return of the truck, but received no assistance. No one came out to check the truck for the 6 furniture pads etc. I called the phone number on my paper work to get the truck turned in properly. The individual on the phone was very kind and helpful. Perhaps the individual working for UHaul was not in the store that day because of it being on Saturday. I am a senior citizen and it would have been helpful to have had someone there who could have helped check the truck in.

The pick up location was a gas station. This is a poor business model because the rental process is not quick, and the attendant had to constantly shift back and forth between serving the U-Haul customers and the gas stations customers. This specific model guarantees very poor customer service.

The small trailer I rented had not been cleaned since the previous users, and the rear door badly needed maintenance. It would not go up or down without binding on the track. It took two people pulling on each side to get the door to open or close. Not pleasant!

I did everything on line including payment to limit my time face to face with the clerk yet, she couldn't see any of it. I then had to let her see my phone to prove it was all done. This was extremely disappointing and unsafe in light of COVID19
