When I picked up the trailer I did not notice their were 3 of 4 matching tires. The 4th tires was the same size but not as tall as the other 3. This caused the the trailer to sway at speeds over 40 mph. Due to the time and days traveling, I was not able to stop at any uhaul locations along the way. I do hope this did not do any long term damage to my friends truck.JAMES M.

We will definitely use U Haul for our next move. Everything went smoothly. The only complaint was the height of the trailer. Husband is 6'1â€ and he bumped his head quite a few times loading and unloading.JEFFREY J.

problems are not with the location but with U-Haul reservation, emails, support from corporate. The website and reservation process is AWEFUL. Website adds items and services you did not select. Some you cannot remove or edit. If your truck is not available at the location you select, it automatically changes location to where ever it wants. Mine changed to another state! It does not even tell you or alert you of such a change. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. If not for this local support, I would not have had a truck for my move of goods. Rental truck cab smelled of stale smoke. Offer â€œnon smokingâ€ vehicles OR impose â€œno smoking banâ€ in vehicles. Owner was very friendly and helpful Owner reiterated that gas tank needed to be 1/4 full on return however when returned I was told the tank needed to be 5/16th full not simply 1/4 full which it was. Return location asked me to go and fill tank with 1/16th of a gallon to gas. I refused stating I had fulfilled my obligation to the verbal command given by the renting owner in South Dakota. After some discussion Darian B at the return location acknowledged the misunderstated comments and waved the additional gas purchase. I was thankful for his generosity. Perhaps a clearer understanding could be had between rental agents and return agents regarding what constitutes â€œa quarter tank of gasâ€???MICHAEL G.

Super cute greeting from the â€œrabbit dogâ€! Older Americans like us, have heard horror stories about Uhaul for years. We were dreading our rental with them. Except for having to drive further to pick up our truck and having the wrong amount of days on our contract, our experience was very good. Again, thanks to Ryan for immediately correcting our contract! Our opinion of uhaul has improved.Alfred W.
Dont change a thing. The only thing I would like to see added is a truck with back seats for families with children in car seats. It was an enjoyable ride but with a car seat so close things were a little cramped.AARON C.

The online process is not very clean. The system told me to links that were not there (or were cleverly hidden). I switched to the app and that worked quite well, except for the need for a wireless connection. While my cell connection apparently overrode, the constant error messages telling me my connection wasn't good enough was a hindrance. Do you really expect people to stand outside a closed facility on the fringe of town and magically have a wifi connection? My friend who rented a truck the same day was told over and over on the website that he didn't have a reservation even though he had the printed confirmation in his hand. His phone could not handle the app so I entered all his information using my app. He would not have been able to pick up the truck at all if I had not been there.Dorothy P.

After renting a 5-8trailer in brenham tx.with insurance for 200+I went to South Dakota. When I got ready to return the same trailer was over 500 dollars for the same trailer this is very wrong makes me question renting from u-haul again. Not very happy right nowSTEPHEN W.

I did not understand that I only had 20 minutes to accept photos of damage to truck when picking up. I did do do it in time and it could not be recreated. This caused extreme stress for me. When I arrived spouse said â€œOh no, my husband just leftâ€. I did not know I'd she could adequately help me understand how to properly load car on trailer. My initial contract stated that there was a full tank of fuel but after I had drove a couple miles down the road, I saw the tank was 1/2 full. Again added stress to an already stressful time.Viva S.
