Had the wrong truck assigned to me. The wrong mileage and the wrong gas amount. When I returned it I had to pay extra because what the return location had on the old truck that I was supposed to pick up was not the same fuel amount as the new truck that I picked up. I had no pads that I ordered 6 months ago when I made the reservation. This whole process was a real cluster.

RICHARD YMy biggest issue is I reserved a truck for a time that was listed as open, when I got there at the reserved time the single employee was either on a break or inspecting the storage lot. I don't have a problem with the employee doing their job or taking a break I have a problem making a reservation and then having to wait for half an hour. Don't accept the reservation until someone will actually be available. Ensure the gear shift in the truck works better, it was actually difficult to get the truck into reverse. It took the truck I was given about 45 seconds to start with the key in the ignition so I was worried about actually turning the truck off. The app/website to upload an image when starting out wouldn't allow me to upload an image. The pricing model used nickel and dimes you from an advertised cost of $29.99 up to nearly $80 to use the truck for approximately one hour and less than 30 miles. The employee was polite and good natured, so I don't blame them, they were excellent themselves.

The rental ended at 10AM on a Sunday and the place does not open until 11AM, I have to open an app which I have no interest in and process the fact I returned the unit on time using my cell phone instead of just being allowed to return it at 11AM when the place opens - really poor customer approach. I was also forced to purchase insurance which I have NEVER does in my life and I have been renting vehicles for over 50 years - Really poor customer approach!!!!!!!!!
Bill KThis unit has a problem with the front end suspension. When you step on the brake at any speed over 20mph, the front end shakes horrendously, making you feel like the vehicle is out of control. Along with that, there is s very high pitched whine in the rear end, sounds like a bearing is going out at high speed. Wasn't sure I I would make it from Denver to salt lake City

VIVIAN HI’m dissatisfied with the pricing and the way I was charged . I am unhappy the price went beyond my expectations .. u-haul says 19.95 but I ended up paying 96.97 .. I felt so shocked.. I’m not going to hire u-haul again

JEFFERY BThe appliance dolly I ordered was not in the truck when I arrived. Fortunately there was someone there who was able to give me a dolly. The Uhaul app continues to be a pain to use. The camera works poorly (somehow it's much lower quality than the native camera on my phone) the workflow is confusing and I had to restart the check-in and check out process multiple times. The geofencing when checking out is too "tight" and it wouldn't let me check out where the truck was parked (about 100 yards away from the office), I had to drive the truck to the office to do the checkout and then had to move the truck back to it's proper checkout location.
Chad GSweet little gal working the desk was so very helpful. Answered my questions calmly and knowledgebly. Such a pleasant gal to deal with.. van was not necessarily clean interior wise but did not affect anything. Van worked well for my purpose. Nice vehicle.

BETHANY SThe facilities hours were until 2pm. My pickup time was 1:45pm. I arrived at 1:50 and could not get your app to work. The lady said she was leaving and to use the app, and was frustrated when I could not get it to work. She could not get it to work either and said she would have to check me in manually. She then told me that in the future I should just call you if the app didn't work (I guess she was put ot to have to actually stay until 2pm.) I had declined the $15 coverage, but she added it when she checked me in without telling me she did so. Also, I requested a furniture dolly. When I opened the cab and saw a dolly I just closed it again; it wasn't until I got to my apartment that I found she had put an appliance dolly in the cab, instead. I couldn't use that dolly and had to go to my work to grab a dolly from there. So, I paid $7 for a dolly I couldn't use and $15 for insurance I did not want. I won't be going back to this place again.

Gerald KFirst and last time I will ever use U-Haul services again. Spent 45 minutes on the phone dealing with 3 different people which could not solve the issue as to why i showed up to get my rental and the truck wasn’t there. i was directed to another location 10 minutes away after all of that which put me over an hour late while movers waited at my house which cost me an additional $130. Then I had to spend 35 minutes dropping off the rental because the system was still showing i needed to return it to the original location that didn’t have the U-haul in the first place. Overall, an extremely frustrating experience from beginning to end, on top of losing money as well as being 2 hours late to work due to U-haul issues. I was told a manager would reach out to me about this and never heard from anyone. It’s ridiculous to be charged full price after I wasted half my time that I should’ve been moving, but instead figuring out how to get a truck

leeann lHonestly, I dont know where to begin. This location was fine and the staff was very helpful but UHAUL really screwed me over. They moved my pick up location on the day I was to pick up my truck to a place that was 45 minutes away. I rescheduled with the movers that would help me load and unload, took a Lyft to the location that was $70, arrived late because the Lyft driver was slow and found that they had cancelled my reservation in the meantime. I could not call the location to say I would be late because it was closed, I don't know how a closed location cancelled my reservation. I was in the middle of nowhere, no staff at the location, and called in to find out what was going on. They told me I needed to make a new reservation at a new location 25 minutes away. I rescheduled the movers again, took another $70 Lyft over, and rented at this location. It cost me $140 to get this UHAUL because of all these shenanigans. The kicker is that the second location was actually closer to my original starting point than the first one. All in all it was a terrible experience and the staff members I talked to on the phone were unhelpful and, at times, hostile. I do not recommend renting with UHAUL but I don't want to malign the actual on location staff here which is why this review is five stars.

Michael STruck was very low on fuel, I had to stop early during my move to refuel which messed up some of my move timing
isaac mBe more customer focused. We did not realize that the entire renting process would be on our phone. When we realized we had to do this, we were at the rental location standing at the counter. We were struggling and then there was an internal computer error on the UHaul computer side and the attendant did nothing to help. She watched us struggle and told us she could not see the transaction from her computer. We finally got to the end of the process and could not hit the final button because the system froze. Out of exasperation I asked if she could help and she said, "Oh yeah I see it here you are good now". It seems she could see something on her side after all. We just wanted some help with the process and it was very frustrating that she let us struggle. I might add that, we were the only customers in the room and the phone did not ring for her.

There’s nothing more that I can think of to help improve the service that I received. It would’ve been nice to receive any kind of military discount.

CHRIS RThere is so much to love about this location, but the last two times I rented it, I get it with the tank almost on empty. I put gas in so I don’t run out of gas but typically overfill so I’m buying gas for the next person. It’s not easy to guess exactly how much I’ll use. Better safe than sorry. But not fair to customer. Last time they charged me for not filling it but it had more in it then when I picked it up. They refunded $12.50 after I called. But I put over $20 in it. The cab while it looked clean reaked if what smelled like dog poop. We had to drive with windows down. I really like the people here but I still have to be honest about these things.
Lacy RAppliance dolley wasn’t there When we were returning the truck there was absolutely no where to park. We wasted over an hour trying to figure out where to park the truck /on the phone with U-Haul. Horrible experience. Do not rent at this location. Ps we ended up parking the car in a handicap spot by the office of the storage unit… the truck was protruding out which stresses us out but again, we had no other option.

I finally had to go ask someone inside for help which was the first time any part of the truck check-in/out process went smoothly. While the facility itself was nice, the hassle of dealing with the app not loading and spending over 1 hour on the check in/out process is enough I will be considering other truck companies in the future.
Davis OGet your I.T. people up to speed. Your app sucks, wasted 45 minutes with glitches in the mobile phone pickup circus. Also I rented a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly. I received a utility dolly and furniture blankets…that stuff shouldn’t be rocket surgery…

melvin nThe cargo van that I rented wasn’t clean in the inside, it was cleaned I. The outside only. The Cube Storage location where I picked up this vehicle works limited hours, just 10am to 4pm from M-F and few hours in the weekend. I picked this cargo van on a Monday at 10am but I wished I could have picked it up at least and 8am and could return it by 6pm. The U-Haul rates are very competitive compare to other similar businesses
Manuel GQuick and easy after hours drop off. A little dark, but it was fine as I had a friend with me. Easy to find key drop off and easy to complete the after hours return.
