Zebertee jWhen a retired gentleman of 71 rents a truck make sure the charging system is okay. I have rented from U-Haul many time and they never let my down. SASHA SUpon return if the fuel tank had more fuel in the tank than what was stated customer should be reimbursed for the overage. My truck had more than a half tank of fuel when returned and required only a fourth we left the truck much better than we received it. There was at least 30.00 more fuel than the required amount. the return agent said that’s not something Uhaul reimbursed for. The fuel could not be taking out so UHaul profits more from my rental.

Austin BI have no suggestions for improvement, from start to finish Sabrina and Willie were excellent from helping me with the rental truck to actually setting me up with someone to personally help my move. I had a wonderful experience. And if I’m ever in the need again there’s no questions of where to go or who to call and I will definitely recommend their service to other people

WINSTON WIf you require extra phone numbers ask for them up front and specify that they are for references, not just extra contact phone numbers. I was already stressed when I got there and the guy on the phone almost got my home landline and work numbers, which were not what he really needed. Asking for two additional phone numbers in the initial reservation request and explaining that is required to reduce vehicle theft would have been a lot better. The trailer was clean, but nobody had pre-checked the lights and the Left Turn/Brake/Hazard light was not working. When I asked about getting it fixed, I was told that if it didn't work then I just could not take the trailer. Luckily it was the short connector wire assembly and switching it with one from another trailer worked. The 6x12' trailers really need to have jacks. If I had not had a friend with me I could not have gotten it hooked up. The owner told me they could not help with that. We were two thankfully strong women and it was difficult trying to shift the hitch sideways enough to get it on the ball. I have hooked up and pulled much larger trailers with no assistance, but they all had jacks. List the size ball needed under the trailer description on the reservation page
Theresa Cthere was a lady that would not open the office door - she told us to leave the truck with all the blankets and moving equipment in truck in a bad part of town unlocked - she said she would not let us in office due to covid and she would call owner who was not there - she yelled all her responses thru a triple pane window in door - she said put the ley to truck in a drop box outside even thought it was only 230PM -- what a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bryant TWould be nice if in the paper work it stated uhaul trucks and trailers have to stop at all agricultural check points on the interstates. Most renters are unaware of this law. Otherwise the service was very good..

Richard KThe Cuthbert location was okay picking up however, I I scheduled to have the truck picked up at 430 Oglethorpe Blvd in Albany, Ga. I traveled 3 1/2 hours to pick up the truck at this location and I was unable to get the keys and nobody was in the office! I waited 3 hours before i got a hold of someone so I could get a truck and then I was told I had to drive another hour away to cuthbert to pick up a truck! And for them to only reimburse 50$ is crazy! I was supposed to pick up my truck by 10:30 am and didn’t get one until 2!! On top of that I had to drive back to Albany to get my things out of storage. Then drive back to Atlanta. I had a time frame and movers waiting for me and I was not able to get my things moved in on time! This is the worst customer experience I have ever experienced! A lot really needs to be improved! I will never use Uhaul again! I believe I should get more than 50$ back for the time a resources I had to spend waiting for a truck! Rediculous.

Cathy NA nightmare to Remember I called the day before to confirm my reservation. I was told to pick up my 10’ truck at a local Exxon gas station. When I arrived, there weren’t any 10’ truck or any Uhaul truck available at this location. I called the 1-800 number to Uhaul and when I spoke with the associate “ she was even in disbelief. I was provided with two options. My first option was to travel 42 miles away from my current location, to pickup a 15’ Uhaul truck or wait until 6:30pm for a 10’ Truck to become available. ( My reservation was for 11am). I decided to drive 42 miles. I wanted to make it back to my destination before dark. The new pick up location was closing at 12 noon. It was already 11:40am. There was No way that I would have made it there before closing. Luckily, Uhaul has a way to pickup the truck without going inside the office. Before I forget, I ordered an appliance dolly, furniture pads, and a car trolley or tow. Guess what? Those items had to be picked up at another location. To be honest, after driving an extra 42 miles to pick up the truck and another 42 miles back to the city, I had decided not to pick up the much needed dolly, furniture pads, and car trolley. Talk about Wasted Time. I reserved the truck a month ago . I confirmed the pick up location the day before and for there not to be an Uhaul truck in that city , for whatever reason, is not ACCEPTABLE. A few dollars were taken off the truck rental and $50 is supposedly be refunded towards the reservation. What about a refund for aggravation? What about a refund for traveling an additional 42 miles to and 42 from picking up the Uhaul truck. I hope that no one have to go through this frustration. I’m unsure if this could have been avoided but there needs to be a way that Uhaul can check on the status of your truck rental before you arrive to pick up your rental. A Very Frustrated Customer

Gary ZU-Haul has "raised the bar." 20-30 years ago, I quit renting from them. Now, as far as I'm concerned, they're the best--service, equipment and professionalism. U-Haul keep up the good work!
