AWFUL. I had to rent a truck last minute. The check out went ok, but the truck ran pretty rough, and the brakes were not in good shape. No windshield wiper fluid. The truck was checked out to me with a 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it after dark and decided not to refuel it as I had only driven 14 miles and needed to get home. The owner charged me for the gas (understandable, but still -- $14 for 4 gallons),. However, he also added a $30 fee for returning it with less than a 1/4 tank of gas, when it only had a 1/4 tank to begin with. I checked the contract and , yes, the $30 fee is mentioned, but of course the owner said nothing about that when I returned it. I had no idea. If the point of the fee is to save them from having trucks with little fuel, then don't check them out ot a customer with hardly any gas to begin with. Money-grubbing and opportunist. Will never go there again.

There are only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck. I had to fuel the truck up before I could leave. The app to rent the vehicle is not user friendly. The transmission should be looked at. When driving on the freeway, the truck does not shift up easily. The tow/pull button did not work. I will never rent from Uhaul again. Donna Keffeler

Dozzy CAlthough I rented the UHaul for about 5 hrs I was charged for 2 periods / days simply because my return time period was put as 3 hrs by mistake. For a 5 hr uhaul I ended up paying for 2 days. That was not fair from a customer service perspective. I will not be renting uhaul going forward if this process is carried out.
