I will not be using uHaul service again. I drove 16 miles, and was charged $72 for gas. I had put a little over a gallon in the vehicle after I used it. I complained to your 1-800 number, and they said they would call me back, but didn't. I will not recommend uHaul to any friends, family or colleague's.Lucius P.

Make sure the trucks are cleaned out on the inside or the cab and cargo areas and also when someone purchases moving supplies and dollies make sure they actually get them on their truck, it would be helpful.Jessica H.
I had a problem with returning the truck on line. No help was offered from the man working in the store. He only offered to take the key without giving me a receipt.Scott G.
It was clean, and the people were friendly, but they didn't have much room at that location. I called prior to arrival to see where I needed to park and whatnotâ€¦ parked it where she wanted it, and then they told me they wanted me to move it. Very congested station. I moved it and then they wanted just the trailer moved. When I said that I called to work this out prior, why didn't anyone tell me this beforehand? The response was that they didn't know the size of truck I was returning. I recommend updating your system to notify locations for visibility of orders terminating at their location in the future.Brad K.

This comment has nothing to do with the pick up location. I reserved a 20' truck and a car tow dolly at a location nearest to the house we were moving. When we arrived we found out that they don't have any trucks and our reservation was in an entirely different state! Drove 45 minutes to get the truck only to have to drive back to the original location for the tow dolly for the car. My confirmation was for ONE location.Patricia C.

The rental charge is a bit expensive with gas prices going up. I would recommend slab based system like 0.99/mil for the first 0-30 mi and then 0.50/mi for the next 100 mi. After that (100+), a fixed rate of 50$ plus 0.40/mi.Harikrishnan S.

I turned in my equipment at 10:50 am, but wrote 11am, 23 hours early. The agent was not there. I called and stopped by and he was at the other store, and then he was sick. Another agent said he would have the office refund one day, plus one day for the dolly. This rental was on January 17, and when I call, I was advised refund will be applied. I understand it was a courtesy, but why tell me something and not do it. If it wasn't for this, I would have given it a much better review.Rosalind D.

The gentleman came out and demanded I pay him $20.(??) Extra because in his words â€œI was late returning his equipment and I have caused him to miss a sale todayâ€. First offâ€¦ I tried to explain to him that when I rented the cargo trailer the lady in Odenville Alabama who knew nothing about doing rentals but went online and followed instructions, she had said I had the ENTIRE day Sunday to return trailerâ€¦ had I of known I had a time limit I could have and would have made sure it was returned at said time! We were finished with the trailer Saturday evening and only returned Sunday at leisure as we were running errands in town. I asked the gentleman how we need to handle this extra charge and he said you need to pay it. I said but I'm disputing it do to not being accurately informed. He then said well call corporate then because you owe it because you made me lose a sale! I again apologized but again tried to explain my situation to him but he walked off muttering something and went back inside his gas station. I emailed, tried calling and left a message with corporate but never heard back from them but was in fact charged the extra fees! I still am disputing the charge because as I said I was told by the lady in Odenville Alabama that I had all day Sunday to return the trailer! Also I had spoken with a lady on the phone the Wednesday before Friday, rental day, and told her I did not want to pick up the trailer from Odenville Alabama because it was way out of my way that I could pick up in moody or Leeds Alabama â€¦ but ended up having to pickup in Odenville Alabama because according to uhaul website no trailer that size was available at any location other than Odenville. However moody had (3) 6x12 cargo trailers on their lot for Friday. However, We checked and saw them ourselves on the moody Alabama lot! Anyway just wanted you to know. This just added to my frustration! FYIâ€¦ if you care! Should you finally attempt to reach meâ€¦ the best way is: you may respond to this email the easiest way or text me on my phone number listed on my application. Thank youâ€¦ happy holidays! I'm not a very happy customer and very unlikely to be a return customer. Oh and btw apparently no one that I spoke with knows how to or if you even do offer a military discount! Definitely not swept out, they didn't even check the lights. Found out from someone who stopped me at a gas station that my trailer lights weren't working. No turn or brake lights. No wonder people were honking at me when I had to switch lanes. Didn't have many supplies, had to go to different location for a dollySTEPHEN J.
