No one told me about an after hours service fee of $20. No one told me that I had to gas up the truck and that $1.39 as mile didn't cover gas. No one told me about a $30 fuel service fee. Their records didn't indicate that I returned the truck on Saturday at about 1:00 p.m. and so they checked it in on Tuesday morning (is that the "after hours service fee?). I intend to call to resolve this, and if not, I will dispute the charges with my credit card company.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI have used U-haul several times before, and always had a decent experience. This time was not good.. The app was SO clunky and difficult to use - glitching out, not letting me enter my contacts as per my profile ("email or phone number 'in use'"!?). Location parked the van on the grass in front, with a slope behind and very little room to get out between another van and a box truck... plus there were multiple dead and disfigured rodents all around the van that I had to be careful not to step on when taking pictures. Lock box padlock was hard to open too - the uhaul video helped, but it was still tough. Last, but not least, the van was dirty - not terrible, but a bunch of debris in the back bed that we had to sweep out before loading. All around VERY frustrating pick up, and unless I hear from U-haul on what they can do about it I will not be using again...
Daniel JThe crew here was helpful and welcoming. The only issue I faced was a bit of a wait time while they worked to determine which vehicle I was to use, and then had to find the right keys.
Barton AKey was not in lockbox, had to wait for retailer to open, then check engine light was on. Started loading more than 1.5 hours later than planned as a result.
