Improve your online booking system. I booked a truck for pickup in Kamloops Monda morning and return in Richmond Wednesday evening. Despite this, I was: 1. Called by U-Haul Wednesday at 10am, while I was driving, that the truck was due. I explained this was not accurate I booked it until the evening and paid as such. 2. On return I was charged fir an extra day! 3. On return I was charged for extra 33km! These extra charges go against my booking requirements. Your system incorrectly: 1. Documented return time, and 2. Estimated driving mileage. I only drove the truck from pickup location to Kamloops moveout location, and from there to Richmond. Finally I returned the truck with 1/2 of gas tank full. On pickup truck had 1/4. Since I was billed all these extra charges I requested money back for the 1/4 extra gas. I was informed thus was not possible. Horrible experience.

Chibugwum GI recently rented a U-Haul and unfortunately, the experience was far from smooth. First, the truck was not cleaned out from the previous customer—there was leftover personal property inside, which is unsanitary and unprofessional. Additionally, the mobile app made the pick-up process very confusing. The instructions were not straightforward and directed me to the wrong location for the keys, which added unnecessary stress and wasted time. I expect basic cleanliness and clear instructions
Amanda BI cannot recommend a location that was 3 hours from where I really wanted to pick the trailer up yes I got a bit of a discount but I did a lot of running around so I wasn't too impressed. Not sure I'd rent another U-Haul trailer.
