Was told by representative at this location that I had to upload my DL (front and back) before I could complete rental when picking up. Took over 30 minutes and after being unable to upload he said “I’ll just type in the number.” Was also charged for gas on return with 40 miles range showing higher than when picked up. Called the guy and he said “I just take the photo and we have 6 of those same trucks so you’ll have to take it up with someone on the 800 number.) Glad I took pictures of fuel level before and after return. When I got there to pick up prior to 9am, I waited until it was after 9am and called the number on the building, the guy said he’d be right over. Cost me an over a half hour of travel time that I hadn’t allotted for in planning by the time I got in the truck. Not a bad experience, just expect more from a household name like U-Haul, been using your trucks for the very 40 years.

Ramon sNot super well lit, unclear where to put equipment
MAKENNA TThe place was closed even though it says its open. Thankfully Uhaul app lets you drop off the keys in the drop off box.
Nydia TTony and his wife and family were amazing. I wouldn’t recommend this location due to UHaul, though. Even with reserving a truck in advance, I was asked by UHaul to change my pick up location to Kong Customs (a location 6 miles out from its needed destination), because the size truck I had reserved wasn’t available. I understand logistics can be tricky. So I took time to drive further out of my way. I never changed my drop off location and Tony said it was acceptable to drop off at my originally chosen pick up and drop off spot at UHaul’s 35E Denton location. But now I’m being charged for “Wrong Drop Off Location”? Again, Kong Customs is a good steward for UHaul’s brand and are wonderful people, but UHaul itself seems a bit disconnected about what was needed for this rental.
