Wicked was great so I am not dinging them any stars for my experience. My dolly was missing but with the experience I had with Uhaul, I wouldn’t be surprised if they weren’t told to put one in the truck. Now my Uhaul experience as a whole this time was horrible. I rented for a Sunday rental at the location close to my house. They moved it to the location a little further from my house due to availability. That was fine but things happened on my end as well and I had to move it to Tuesday. I kept it at the second location. Someone called and told me they did not have one at the second location and that it would be at the original location. No problem. Even better. Saves me about $40 on mileage and gas. Well, I got there at 6am and there is no truck and I cannot check in. I call and they say it shows as still in transit and they will need to find me another one. They left me on hold for 20 min so I hung up and called back. The next person just transferred me to booking, I hung up, and I called back again. This was all taking place in the parking lot as my house is about 30 mins away and I didnt know where they would be sending me. Well they couldn't get me one for a couple hours and at a location about 50 min drive away. It was 104 yesterday. I wanted to be done by 10am hence the 6am pickup time. I opted to reschedule for the next day. They gave me a $50 reservation guarantee credit and rescheduled me for that second location. The movers I hired charged me $100 for having to reschedule about 10 mins before they showed up. I get there this morning and it wont let me check in again. Truck was at least there this time. I call again and whoever rescheduled me didn't check the box for mobile check in so I didn't even get out of there until after 7 and back to the house at 7:45 after my movers showed up and I had to pay them to stand around. Overall this was extremely frustrating. Moving is already stressful. Their screw ups cost me additional money that the $50 didn’t even cover not to mention time, stress, rearranging multiple people’s schedules, gas for driving out there twice, etc. I have a tendency to move every couple of years. After this, I do not think I will be using Uhaul anymore.
