Tidings MThe customer service at the physical location was fine, but U-Haul's automated billing system had a major glitch. The system incorrectly logged the starting fuel level, which automatically hit me with a fraudulent $16 gas charge on my final receipt. I had to submit photographic proof to customer service to get my refund processed. The corporate software needs to fix how it tracks fuel levels between renters.

Manfred NI inspected a truck in Modesto ca like it took note that everything worked. When I returned to pick it up it was switched out with another truck and when I asked why I was told bc it had a full tank. I had no time to inspect it. The brakes were bad, both lighter outlets didn’t work our phones died. I moved from Modesto to Whittier. Bc I had no phone I was lost didn’t remember my partner number it was stressful I wasted time and energy. Then the drop off location was constantly changing. And when I would get to the drop off locations I would be told they can’t check it in and would send me to another location !!! I had to refill the tank. It was a nightmare. I trusted u hall to get me to Los Angeles safely. However I feel I was put in danger do to switching out the original truck which brakes were bad no access to charging my phone
