There are so many things wrong with this experience. I have lodged a complaint against uhaul! First they sent us to a place that did not do online check in. I called the 800 as listed and after being on hold for an hour I was transferred to another person then had to go to another person on hold again for 20 mins. Then they sent me to another agent “technical” who was SO rude! She kept interrupting me would not let me explain why I was transferred to her and then continued to say rude comments to me. She transferred me to someone else who FINALLY was able to help me. She was wonderful and explained to me what had happened. By the time we got the truck it was 2 hours past our pick up time!!! Causing us to be 2-3 hours behind and because of this we lost our window to go over our hwy and they closed it again due to the wild fires. We had to go back and go around making a 7 hour trip a 9-10 hour trip with not the best roads!! The treatment and professionalism was horrible (except for the last gal in Boise) and I have never been treated like that!! Because of the detour that UHaul caused us we had to spend more money in fuel and risk our safety on a road that we had NEVER travelled before!! I doubt I will ever ever use uhaul again. Which is sad because we have many times before.

Isreal Fthe truck was ready for me when I got there, but there were some problems with the system that uhaul uses to process rentals. The lady behind the counter was very kind and I enjoyed our conversation, her husband as well. The system was just not working properly delaying the completion. I explained that I needed to get to another appointment and she was very accommodating and understanding. I am not clear on expectations relating to cleaning trucks prior to return but the truck I got was very dirty. I did sweep up a large pile of dirt and debris before I loaded my furniture and assured it was in decent shape before returning. Easy in and out location.
