The whole check in/out was painful. This is like the grocery line self check out but oh, so much more painful. I don’t care for the business model of having the paying customer do everyone’s work for them. Plus all the pictures you have to take in 100 degree heat.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI originally planned to rent from a Humansville, MO location. This location had only 1 truck and it was out of service. The closest location was approximately 25 miles away. Rented for 2 days. Purchased the additional insurance as well. We were charged for mileage over 30 miles after being told additional miles would be credited due to the distance of the available rental. Returned the rental in one day and was told there would be no reimbursement for one day instead of two because it was a one way rental and was not returned to the original rental store. Charge for one day rental was over $200.00. I have rented from U-Haul many times over a 30 year span. This will no longer be the case.
DONNA JTruck was not full of gas had only 154 miles on it. Had to go an additional 30 miles on top of the 20 miles from my original pick up place so that's 100 miles total out of way 50 each way. Yes your associates did compensate me but I was never emailed until that morning. Then on top of that you guys tried to charge me another 68.75 for gas because I didnt bring it back the way I pick it up but I brought it back at half with 200 miles still left which was more then I picked it up explained this at drop off told not to worry he would take care of it but no tried to charge me. Had to call again explained it to your associate and it even stated that it only had between 3/8 and half when picked up so very disappointed in the whole thing as I've rented many times and never had any problem with you guys recommend you instead of penske. Even though I was compensated I just dont feel that was enough for all the problems I had. Thank you
