This was the most devastating experience of my life 😡😡😭😭 My first time ever booking experience with Uhaul was bad. I was called many times in a day for few weeks almost months following up with the payment of storage #0125 even if I haven't stepped or placed items in that storage. My card also was charged. And I received a lot of Card decline notifications everyday. I didn't receive any asking of pardon from you nor compensation for the trouble caused. I have a newborn baby and my wife sometimes was called by your associates as follow up. My baby's was disturbed as well. Traumatic experience. I won't repeat anymore with this. Don't patronize them! I felt I was scammed. 😡😡

MUHAMMAD S | First ImpressionsFirst off. UHual screwed me over on my pick up date. I had to drive 210 km to pick up the next closest unit and drive it back 210 km. It wasted 4 people's day. Then I got a bill charging me for another unit I told the idiot on the phone I didnt want. The uhaul customer service representatives I delt with in Grande Prairie and Calgary were really great tho.

Last Wednesday once we had emptied the unit went into the office and told them we would like to move out and end the rental. Representative said she would take care of it and I'd get confirmation later in the day. Didn't get confirmation so overnight I logged in and completed an online move out request. Got email confirming the request. Figured it was done until I got a bill for overdue rent yesterday. Called back and was told they would take care of it. No confirmation - which would have been a nice touch given the amount of ball dropping that had already gone on - but seems to have happened as the rental is no longer shown in my UHaul account when I log in.

With app outages, computer systems down and just generally slow and hard to use for your employees and customers, it's a wonder you are making it in this era. It really speaks to the people behind the broken technology keeping you afloat.

My only other comment would be that the floor is dirty in the loading area of bay 7, any furniture that touches the floor is left with dark marks that aren’t easily removed. I will need to hire professional furniture cleaners.

PATRICK H | Overall ExperienceAbsolutely terrible experience with U-Haul. My 65-inch TV was stolen straight from the hallway of the storage facility, and when I approached staff to voice my concerns, they called the manager — who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and made it seem like the issue was entirely my problem. Her only “solution” was to tell me to go to the police. On top of that, I was promised two free months of storage due to multiple U-Haul rentals, which turned out to be completely false. My card was charged over $300 despite being told otherwise. I even went in a week before my unit expired to extend for another month, only to be told to come back later because transferring units would “void” my last week. The day I was told to return — they charged my card. When I tried to dispute the charge, I was again met with awful customer service and unprofessional behavior that nearly escalated into a yelling match in the store. To make matters worse, on my move-out date, another customer had their belongings scattered all over the hallway — bikes, boxes, and random junk — completely blocking access to my storage unit (1736). The hallway reeked of body odor, alcohol, and there were pets running loose. Staff did nothing about it, and I ended up being an hour late for my move because I had to constantly wait for this person to clear the way. This location is completely mismanaged, unprofessional, and unsafe. Between the theft, the lies about free storage, and the horrible customer service, I’ll never rent with U-Haul again. Unbelievable.
