Good service but maybe your larger trucks should be diesel and the $2.00 per mile is a little excessive don’t you think.
PATRICK H | Overall ExperienceAbsolutely terrible experience with U-Haul. My 65-inch TV was stolen straight from the hallway of the storage facility, and when I approached staff to voice my concerns, they called the manager — who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and made it seem like the issue was entirely my problem. Her only “solution” was to tell me to go to the police. On top of that, I was promised two free months of storage due to multiple U-Haul rentals, which turned out to be completely false. My card was charged over $300 despite being told otherwise. I even went in a week before my unit expired to extend for another month, only to be told to come back later because transferring units would “void” my last week. The day I was told to return — they charged my card. When I tried to dispute the charge, I was again met with awful customer service and unprofessional behavior that nearly escalated into a yelling match in the store. To make matters worse, on my move-out date, another customer had their belongings scattered all over the hallway — bikes, boxes, and random junk — completely blocking access to my storage unit (1736). The hallway reeked of body odor, alcohol, and there were pets running loose. Staff did nothing about it, and I ended up being an hour late for my move because I had to constantly wait for this person to clear the way. This location is completely mismanaged, unprofessional, and unsafe. Between the theft, the lies about free storage, and the horrible customer service, I’ll never rent with U-Haul again. Unbelievable.
khalid o | Overall ExperienceI was very happy with my recent visit to this U-Haul location. All the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. They assisted me in finding the right storage unit and even helped me switch to a larger one when I realized the first unit I picked wasn’t big enough. My only issue was that the bay door I initially drove up to wasn’t working. I had to walk to the office to get let in, and on my second trip, I experienced the same issue. I was told that the door was broken. My suggestion would be to put up a clear sign at any non-functioning bay doors to let customers know in advance. Moving is already stressful, and small changes like this can save customers and employees unnecessary frustration. Overall, my experience was positive thanks to the staff, and this small improvement would make it even better.

Norman C | Overall ExperienceThe necessity of having to use a freight elevator to move things in and out triples the work of moving. Had I known that the storage units were not on the same floor as the loading dock and not accesible with a truck I would not have rented from this location. Having to handle everything twice was way too much extra work, and if the elevator was in use you essentially had to wait for hours for it to be freed up. Staff were great, but I will never use this facility again.

The staff were wonderful and called me to offer storage during my move which was so convenient and made the experience so much easier. They were very helpful and the location/building has to be the nicest storage facility I’ve ever visited and one of the largest in Canada! I definitely had a great experience, I’m happy I came in and would recommend to anyone booking a move in coming here! Thank you for all your help while moving!

Ivan A | Overall ExperienceUpon returning with a van loaded full to put in storage, the unit that was given to me was full of someone else's contents!! the whole process had to begin again with the same info repeated as well as a empty unit needed to be found! !1 more hour of switching and paper work was necessary on top of the first hour to book a wrong storage unit? I was able to receive a discount for the second month but she stated that it will show up next month as the regular price meaning that I have to contact back to the location at that time and try to remind them of that fact! Why can it not be inputted to your system showing the discount at the time of said arrangement ? Also the vehicle I picked up showed 1/4 of a tank of gas ,so I had to make sure not to put more than what I used . You fill the tank full before the next customer, that's how to do business!! Not impressed!!
